Pros: Large sites, quiet, shady/trees, clean. Cons: No sewer, marginal electric 103-115v, low to non-existent water pressure, loop with 50amp sites closed, nature center closed, narrow roads in camping area, too many trees for satellite. Would not return due to problems with electric and water.

Clean and neat. Friendly owners. Easy on/off from I-95. Rate is for Passport America. Clean bathrooms, showers and laundry. Owners took an old derelict campground and cleaned it up, added kids play area, new building for bathroom/showers/laundry. Basic supplies can be found at the office. Fishing in small lake. Some road noise from trucks but didn't hear much inside. Choose from sites in the open or under pine trees and most all are pull throughs. WI-FI worked great, consistent voltage. Great place for overnight stop.

Located next to, and run by, owners of the Econo Lodge. Directly behind Raceway gas station, .4 miles west on Hwy 40 off of I-95 exit 3. Must be self-contained as there are no bathroom/shower facilities. Wi-Fi available from the motel. A blacktop and concrete parking area with about 6 feet of grass between sites. With slides open you can reach out and touch your neighbor. No room for awnings. Each site is clean, neat and very level with a round concrete table and bench. A concrete "palm tree shaped" light post is between each site. No shade/trees. Check in is at the Econo Lodge motel. Staff was friendly. You can use the motel's small but clean pool. Nothing for kids except the pool. Noise from Hwy 40 and lights from the gas station. Plenty of restaurants, grocery stores and gas stations in area. Rates are excessive for what you get - $40 back in and $50 pull thru. Used Passport America which made it $20 or $25. Okay for overnight stay but not worth the $25 PA rate.

Expensive for what you get, cash only and $3 extra for a/c. Muddy due to rain, rusted playground equipment. Site in "new" area which used to be tent area. Site was short, sloped downhill and across from pool and open shed area storing tractors and junk. The pool had no chairs around it...just fenced in area. Very steep entrance/exit and both were narrow with bushes surrounding so you could hardly see to pull out into traffic. Across from Black Rock State Park but they don't allow pets. Lady at check in was nice.

We stayed at JC Cooper Campground at Satterwhite Point. NC State Parks have a new reservation system and the computers were down when we wanted to make a reservation so we had to show up as a "walk in" on Monday afternoon. The attendants at the gate were obviously new and couldn't figure out what sites were available. We got permission to go look for a site and come back to register. Some sites had white tags on them stating "Reserved from ___ to ___" but no dates were on the tags. We picked a site with no tag along the water, backed in, hooked up electric to keep the A/C running in 94 degree temps and went back to register. By now the attendants had figured out how to find available sites and told us the site we picked was not available and gave us a list of about 12 available sites...none of which were along the lake with 50amp service and water. So we moved the rig and went back again to register. We stood outside the registration booth in the hot sun for 30 minutes while the lady typed in our information - ONE LETTER AT A TIME - she didn't know how to type or use the mouse (kept running it off the edge of the desk). Then she couldn't get the computer to take the abbreviation for our state as she didn't know how to click on the arrow to expose the drop-down window in which to select the correct state. The gate attendants were both very nice but they should have been given better training or had somebody with them that knew what they were doing. TWO hours after our initial arrival at the gate we finally settled in our site. Later in the evening we observed the man attendant putting reserved signs on campsites. These now had dates on them and all were reservations for the following weekend. Of course the site we had originally picked out (along with several others on the lake front) were never occupied. We were required to move for no reason other than incompetence of the computer operator/system. Unfortunately this park is getting to be a party central area…a group by the lake was very large and loud. The bathrooms were atrocious…full of bugs, in need of paint, dirty sinks and toilets, no toilet tissue. There are a couple of curves that big rigs can negotiate only with extreme caution. Handicapped sites (there are three) are concrete but too small to accommodate big rigs. Campground hosts were very nice and said their suggestions to make things easier for big rig owners and remodeling of bathrooms have fallen on deaf ears. This used to be a fairly nice, quiet place to stay but no money is being put back into upkeep of the park and security has become non-existent. Oh, and they lock the gates at 10PM and don’t open them up until 8AM. We will move this park to the bottom of our list as an emergency stopping place only.

A typical overpriced KOA. Except for a tiny area on the fringe there is no shade. The new area is totally barren and without restrooms..looked ugly. The restaurant food was good but expensive. The girl behind the check-in counter gave the impression of not caring if you stayed or left. She tossed the papers on the counter and said "follow the arrow to your site" then walked away to continue drinking her soda with her back to the counter. Didn't set a very good customer service example. The pool looked nice with a water slide and an umbrella shaped water shower in the wading end for little kids. The amusement rides were nothing fancy. Tickets were 75 cents each...carousel-2 tickets, ferris wheel-3 tickets, moon-bounce-2 tickets, tractor pulled train-3 tickets, and a small arcade area where lots and lots of tickets earned from the games played could be traded for very small trinkets. Playground was nice but lacked swings for small children. Okay for overnight or maybe when something is happening on the weekend, but wouldn't go out of my way to stop here again.

We agree with previous reviews. The interior campground roads are narrow (one lane size) for two way traffic. Trees are trimmed but some came very close to touching the sides and top of our 12 foot high motorhome. The roads are manageable, just take it slow. Satellite reception was extremely difficult due to all the trees. The cable was fuzzy with about five viewable stations. There were 10 digital (over the air) stations. The sites are large with curved pull through. The sites are mostly dirt so be careful in wet weather. Bathrooms were a bit aged but clean with separate curtained change area outside shower. It is a reasonable 15 minute commute to downtown historic area. The biggest drawbacks are no sewer, only one dumpster for entire park and only one dump station which got very busy on Sunday when everybody was leaving. There is road construction at the entrance area of the park (making new turn lane into the park) so traffic was a little congested. The current turn in/out of the park road is a little tight due to construction barriers. The mosquitoes were bad bring lots of bug repellent. The pool was not open yet. We would return.

For being at the ocean/beach during off-peak time this park was very nice. Clean, beautiful beach with access over the dune at many convenient spots. But the dune does block the view of the ocean. Most sites (except those on Main Trail, Lakeside Trail or Ocean View Trail) are in the open and should have no problem with satellite TV. Cable available but fuzzy. Main roads paved. Roads between sites are hard packed sand/dirt. Laundry, store and cafe are clean and neat. Indoor and outside pools clean. Lazy river small probably adequate for tweens and younger. Bathhouses clean, each shower has separate dressing area with bench and hook. Handicapped shower spacious with fold down shower bench and handheld shower and separate dressing area. Our site was two spaces up from beach and we could not connect to park WIFI. Pets allowed on beach all day except between mid-May to mid-September when pets are only allowed in the morning and evening. Sites in the main area are long enough to leave car/tow vehicle connected, level packed sand with grass between and slightly close together so don’t expect too much privacy. Hook ups at rear of site. Enough room to put out your awning except it’s too windy and most use the covered picnic table and enclose it with plastic for windbreak. Trash picked up daily at site. New shelter being built near restaurant. Restaurant open for breakfast and dinner on Friday & Saturday night. Didn’t eat there so can’t comment about food/price. Office staff polite both in person and on phone when we called for reservation. Would not book specific site, said had to take what was available due to still being busy from spring breakers. Security checks all vehicles coming into park so you must have valid hang-tag displayed. Park gates locked from Midnight to 7AM. Security also keeps watch for fireworks which are not allowed in park or on beach. Anybody found with fireworks is evicted. Overall very acceptable and quiet especially considering there are over 1000 sites in the park and the number of adults, children and pets present in the park. We would return again but not during peak season when Myrtle Beach is just one big traffic jam.

We just returned from the Octoberfest Weekend. This was our second visit and we enjoyed ourselves tremendously and so did our dogs. The park was well taken care of and immaculate. The Octoberfest dinner was mouthwatering and plentiful followed by good entertainment. There was even a hot dog eating contest for the dogs. It's obvious the owners take great pride in their park and are very people and dog oriented. We checked in the same time as three other groups and all (people and pets) were warmly welcomed. Don't understand the previous reviewers comments and low rating. Even the work campers were very friendly. Separate off leash areas are available for big and small dogs, agility training areas, a pond for swimming (yes, it was muddy probably from all the dogs frolicking around), plenty of walking trails (we even saw deer), free wi-fi and pets are allowed in rental trailers and cabins. The dog washing, grooming, bathroom and laundry areas were immaculate - my house should be so clean! The only thing we would wish for is paved roads instead of crushed rock to keep the dust down and make it easier walking for our small dog's feet. We absolutely will return!

There is easy access to Chattanooga area – about 15 min drive. It is located approximately 3 miles off I-59, but you have to go down rural roads so it seems longer. Staff is very friendly; brought brochures about things to do in the area to our site and even offered to bring firewood. We were escorted to our site. There is clean grounds, nice game room with about 10 video games and two pool tables. You can rent videos and DVDs at the office. There is an adequately sized clean pool, but it needs emptying and painting as it looks a little dingy. A large air filled jumping pillow available for the kids was also very nice. There is a playground with good well kept equipment. Roads are paved and gravel, narrow but adequate, and trees are trimmed back. Pain in the butt speed bumps made from 2 X 4’s are worse then most speed bumps. Site layout is somewhat eclectic reflecting the age of the park – some sideways, some pull thru, some back ins – most are not very level. Staff told us we were in the longest and most level pull thru. Our pull thru site was 55 feet long and started running downhill beginning at about 25 feet into the site requiring extra blocks under front tires to level. Electric voltage measured 108 with only one AC unit running – the low end of what we are comfortable with – would prefer it be around 115. Sites range from heavily shaded to complete sun. Most are shady so don’t expect satellite reception, and the cable at the park only has about 12 channels. It is very quiet at night with no road noise, just lots of soothing nighttime “mother nature” sounds. And, of course, because it’s a KOA it’s expensive even with the Value Kard discount. We would return but would try first for one of the less expensive parks closer to Chattanooga.

The last couple of reviews pretty much hit the mark. Road noise is loud but should be expected when your sitting a few hundred yards off I-81 and can look up and see all the traffic and trucks. WIFI is slow, cable TV has some fuzzy stations, full hook ups with 50 amps worked fine, water pressure on the low side. Sites are pull thru and long enough so you don’t need to unhook towed vehicle. However, sites are very close together and you have to be careful to position yourself so your slides do not conflict with your neighbors. There is no room for awnings. Many of the hook ups are at the end of the site and you will need extra long lines. Rain made areas where there was no gravel or grass very muddy. Bathrooms/showers are located in old cinderblock building and are, for the most part, clean. The outside of the building needs to be repaired, cleaned up and painted. Forget laundry – you don’t even want to try climbing the broken steps to get to the derelict looking building. Currently there is nobody in tent area but last summer we did see some tenters who appeared to be living out of their car. During this last year many of the dilapidated permanents appear to have been removed and/or cleaned up but there are still a few left. One camper here now has four small dogs. Management lets them keep the dogs in a pen outside the camper while the owner is gone. The dog pen is covered with a tarp to protect from the sun/rain but the dogs bark at everything and they are left outside from morning to evening. Shame on the campground owner (who lives on site) for allowing this to continue especially after having been informed of the disturbance and danger to the animals. There are also many plastic storage bins stacked outside this camper making it look very junky. In the past the attitude of office staff has been friendly – this time they acted like they didn’t want to be bothered. As said before, this place is okay for an overnight stop but nothing more. It gets busy here during Virginia Tech football season when you need to be sure to call ahead and check availability or have a reservation.

Very clean facilities. Friendly, helpful staff and workkampers. Escorted to site and offered assistance if needed. All pull-thru sites, cable TV and Wi-Fi included. Large level grass sites with concrete patio and picnic table. Executive sites have grill, patio table with chairs, wooden swing, cement parking pad/patio area, daily newspaper delivered to site and continental breakfast available in office. Nicely landscaped entrance with no speed bumps. Wide, paved roads were no problem for biggest of big rigs. Trees lost in hurricane have been replanted but it will be sometime before they can provide needed shade. Extremely clean bathroom/showers. Two laundry areas - $1.25 for 30 min wash and $.25 for 10 min dry time. Game room with a few video games and pool table. Putt-putt golf needed repainting with some surfaces needing rips repaired. Small enclosed dog run or you can take your pet to large open area in back of park. Heated pool covered with inflated bubble-type enclosure (enclosure is deflated and pool closed during bad weather). While we were there high winds at night took down some trees along entrance road – they were cleaned up very early next morning. Lots of rain and no problems with puddles or flooded sites. Many overnighters – starts to fill up around 4pm and empties out again about 9am - suggest calling to make sure space available. Took points off due to being located right next to I-10. Be sure to ask for a site as far away from highway as possible or you will be disturbed by loud trucks and jake brakes. If you need any repairs done to RV highly recommend Busted Knuckle (Merle) – ask at office for business card. We would return again.

Wow – watch out for the mosquitoes – they are vicious!!! If you are up front by the beach sites you will just love the park, the back area is swampy, humid and so thick with trees that you never get a breeze or much sunlight. Some sites listed as 20’ long can easily accommodate a 40’ motorhome making it very difficult to reserve a site if you haven’t actually seen the park. Some sites listed as 40’ are very unleveled with too many trees around them so there is not enough maneuvering room to back in. Sites by the beach were nice although closer together than those in the back of the park. The rangers (both women - one nice and the other not so nice) said reservations are available 11 months in advance and the front sites always book up exactly 11 months to the day in advance. The park “hosts” were all very nice. Bathrooms while clean are still very dated and it would be nice to have a door to close for some privacy when showering. Too many trees for satellite TV and local TV is limited to about three fuzzy stations – bring your DVDs and other forms of entertainment. The beach is beautiful, clean and not crowded. You can fish, ride your bike along the edge of the water or just enjoy the sunrise over the ocean. Dogs are allowed on the beach as long as you clean up after them. A garbage dumpster in the back camping area would be nice instead of having to go all the way to the front entrance of the park to get rid of trash. You cannot leave any food outside because of raccoons. Also saw deer in the park. Drive or bike to the lighthouse, pay the $2 charge and climb to the top – the view is beautiful. Park roads are a little tricky for a 40’ long, 12’ high motorhome…need to be very careful and go sloooooow – you can do it – just take your time and be sure to have somebody watching for trees and other obstructions. I would not call this park big rig “friendly”….it is only big rig “tolerable”. I will go back but only if I can reserve a site in the beach front area.

Nice clean campground. Off I95 but didn't hear too much road noise. Cheaper and nicer than the KOA which is right next to the highway. Roads are paved and not very wide - can be a little tricky maneuvering big rigs. Gravel sites could have been a little more level, too close together. We had to wait to leave our pull through as our neighbors pull through stuck out so far and with trees on the other side that we could not make the tight turn. Women in office was pleasant and helpful. She called Blue's BBQ at the KOA to see if it was open - it wasn't - apparently only open at the whim of owner. (There is no BBQ here - it is at the KOA and too far to walk.) Nice fishing pond ($1.50 per pound). Permanents and overall park appearance was clean and neat. A nice overnight park. We would stay overnight again.

Clean, neat and very wide, level sites. Owners were very nice and escorted you to your site. Pretty little lake/pond with ducks and geese. Camp store very clean and stocked with necessities. FREE WiFi worked great. Would have given higher mark but for the noise from I95 and think it's ridiculous to charge $3pp extra for more than 2 people. $35 is too high for campground with no amenities like swimming pool or playground.

New owners = New Name. This is the best place in the Greenville area if you want full hookups. (If you only need water and electric go to one of the COE parks or Paris Mountain State Park.) Park is 29 miles north of I-85, exit 44 – about 20 minutes to Greenville. Office staff was very nice and helpful. Pet friendly – have a collie as the park mascot. Crushed rock road. Sites mostly level, gravel with cement pad for picnic table. Some grass between sites. Long term residents placed further towards the back. Park is neat and clean and well maintained. Restrooms/showers older but clean. Two washers/dryers in office. New cabins being built – expensive at $125/night (no pets allowed). Park is family friendly but there is absolutely nothing for children, no pool, no playground, no cable TV, no WIFI (management says WIFI is coming). Trying to get satellite TV or internet to work is a challenge due to many trees and the park being located in the valley between two hills. Cell phone coverage is terrible – don’t expect your internet air card to work either. Expensive at $30/night with no cable, internet or other amenities. But it’s still the best in the area.

It's another old KOA that needs an infusion of money. Not a bad park, just tired and in need of spiffing up. Office store had few items, most expensive. Game area had pool table with ripped covering, broken Pacman game and a couple other old electronic games. Laundry was mostly clean but washers didn’t wash or rinse long enough to get clothes clean. Bathrooms were as clean as possible considering their age but it’s time for a remodel. Playground area has a few swings that need an overhaul. Pool was closed but in need of paint and cement deck fixed. A few sites have 50 amp, water and sewer. The majority is only 30 amp with water. Most long term/permanents are in back area by small pond, a few in wooded area. Overnighters are put in front. Sites need to be better marked but are roomy enough for putting out awnings. Rain almost flooded some sites by pond. A couple old trailers by pond need hauling away. Staff was friendly but seemed ill trained to handle registrations. The lady in office said she was only temporary as the regular managers were away. Dump station can be accessed on both sides and you can get propane tanks filled. We checked out other private parks in the area and this is probably the best and safest. Good for overnight when stopping to see the Battlefield but not a destination park. Easy access to I95 and Richmond. Nino’s Restaurant at entrance to park was okay and reasonably priced.

An old KOA next to I-20. WIFI worked only on sites closest to the office. Everything showing its age. Strips of carpeting taped over the electric boxes in place of covers. Picnic tables with rusted metal frames. Sewer hook ups are open holes - no covers and some in the middle of the site. Pool looked grayish colored. Hot tub has had hard use and needed a good cleaning. Showers had one hook and a plastic step stool to use for your belongings and needed remodeling. Laundry had two old washers/dryers, folding table and sink - all were dirty and the sink looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in months. Sites were gravel with grass between. Mature pine trees and some pear trees covered the area. Pond on one side of the campground - permanents filled those sites. Most permanent sites are okay, a couple are ugly. A few small metal "cabins" with windows covered in aluminum foil, newspapers or broken blinds. Office staff was nice - but the office was so smoke filled you could barely breath. Area was very dark at night - the only lights were by the office. Only one other place to stay in the area and it had no trees and was next to I-20. Good for an overnight but nothing more. Unfortunately it was the best pick in the area.

Campground is far better than most "local" parks. Heavily wooded and the trees kept the park much cooler – especially during the recent heat wave. Big rig access is reasonable up to about 40'. About 1/3 of the sites can accommodate big rigs. Chose carefully since many sites are not very level. We were given "waterfront" site A8 and told it was on the water and level. The site actually sloped downhill; the water was about 100' away and couldn't be seen because of the trees. But the personnel gave us a list of the available sites and we were free to pick one out. You can rent boats, go hiking or biking, frisbee golf and fishing. Playground is next to B Loop, no pool and no swimming allowed in the lake. Some hiking trails had information on civil war battles and civil war embankments can be found running through the park. There was noise from I-64 and Jefferson Avenue that run in front of the park, but not enough to bother us. The main roads are in good condition. Pavement on camping loop roads and sites is beginning to deteriorate along the edges. Bathroom buildings are old but recently painted and clean. It appears the toilets, sinks and fixtures are recently replaced. There was a four trailer back up on Sunday waiting to use the dump station. Sewer hook ups would be appreciated. No cable but the moho antenna worked well for about six local stations. Too many trees for satellite TV. Electrical (30 amp only) and water near the front of sites required extra cable and hoses. For the price the park was a bargain compared to others in the area. We will return.

Nice park to use as base of operation if you are going to Williamsburg/Busch Gardens. A very few of the sites have concrete pads, most are grass and roads are crushed rock making it slightly dusty. Sites will fit biggest of motorhomes, saw everything in here from small TT's to Prevosts and Newells. Not much in the way of amenities. Pool closed until Memorial weekend, no playground, no cable TV. Bathrooms very clean, grassy areas neatly trimmed and mowed. Quite park, heard a train one night off in the distance. WIFI available for $1.00 per day - very sporadic, especially difficult to use in the evenings and we were only two sites away from the antenna. Plug in modem available in clubhouse. Cheaper than the local KOAs but still overpriced especially considering that the pool wasn't even open - think they should have lower rates when "off" season. Friendly office staff escorted you to site. No privacy between sites, but they are large enough to have awnings open and not touch your neighbor. Trash pick up every morning at your site. New electrical service, shade and full sun sites available. We would return again.

We use this park to see sites and for business in Atlanta. This is a city RV park that sits off Hwy 41 up the hill from a car dealer. Original park built in 1957. Over the years there have been many upgrades and modernizations. Free fast WIFI, free bagged ice, free RV washing, free cable TV, free courtesy phone for local calls, free modem hook up in office. Clean restrooms and laundry. New Super Walmart and Six Flags water park just down Hwy 41. Easy access to I75. Friendly, courteous personnel escort you to site, help you get parked and provide directions and information on the area. Big rigs accomodated but as previously stated parking for towed vehicles is tight. Pool closed for season. Some sites have deep depressions in parking pads from leveling jacks. Speed bumps - be careful, go slow. Dobbins AFB is close and you sometimes hear plane noise. During the day you hear paging system from car dealership down the hill. Some old mobile homes in back area that could use a good clean up. Nothing at park for kids except pool during summer season. Would give this park higher marks if parking pads were fixed and price was a little lower.

This was our fourth stay in two years as an overnight stop on our way to the Keys. The good: WIFI available and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly and easy access to I10. The bad: Park is showing its age and needs sprucing up; buildings need fixing, painting and some sheds just need to be torn down. Rates raised again, getting expensive and money not being put back into the park ($30 with Good Sam discount for 30 amp electric and water no sewer, cable was terribly fuzzy). Permanent sites make up about 50% of the park and some need to be cleaned up. An old Airstream trailer had green mold growing on top, a 5th wheel covered on top with blue tarp, lots of old chairs, junk, etc. sitting outside of others. When we arrived the park was full to overflowing. A 45 ft motorhome and large 5th wheel got stuffed into too small spaces. Gives the impression the park owners are more interested in $$$ then trying to provide a clean, pleasant park. Still, considering the alternatives in the area we would stay here again but only as an overnight stop.

Tucked behind Craven Pottery this is a nice place to stay while traveling through the area. Sites are paved and will handle the big rigs. Check in/out was done on the honor system - cash or check only. Reserved sites were clearly marked so somebody does a daily check on the campground. Many trees so don't expect your satellite TV to work...cable would have been nice. A small stream runs by some of the sites. No playground or pool or amenities for children. Pets allowed. A good overnight stop or a place to stay while shopping at the local outlet malls. Didn't see any security services but there were no problems. A little noise from I-85. We would stay here again.

The website is much better than reality! The lake is spring fed and was an old sand pit. All except about 4 sites are filled with permanent trailers. Most are old and trashy. One trailer still has the truck (filled with trash) attached and looks like it hasn't been moved in many years. Water park is small, water looked dirty and they need clean up and repairs. Costs $14/day/person ($8.00 for 1 hour) for use of the three water slides! Miniature golf was cute, the water feature in it is dirty and smelly - costs $4.95/person! Pirate ship in the lake is neglected and needs paint. Costs $4.00/person to go swimming (included with camping rate). Camping is $22/night for two people and $4.00 extra each person over 2 years old. Contrary to the website it is NOT the finest in recreation or amenities and the prices are not family friendly for the little you receive. The site we were assigned had only 30 amp and the electric plug was broken and hanging out of the utility box. The water faucet didn't have any handle. Sewer drains are open with no covers and there was a very bad sewer smell at night. Had to be careful to watch out for the huge ant nest next to our site and our dogs picked up fleas. Entrance is paved, single road to sites is dirt/gravel. Looks like a few sites had new concrete pads pouredmaybe some improvements are beginning? But there are no state of the art sites like the website says are coming soon. This is really just a fish camp used by the locals - definitely not an RV resort. It is also right next to I-10 so you hear trucks and car noise all night. The staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly just didnt seem to care. We will not return.

Contrary to prior review we found this to be a very nice park. The park attendants were friendly, courteous and helpful. WIFI access is available throughout the entire park. In fact, there are at least two WIFI transmitters available. You do NOT have to go to the game room to use the WIFI. We camped on the far side of the park and WIFI was available inside our motorhome. The park is very shady and satellite TV reception is very difficult. The park does not offer cable TV. The pool area, restrooms and showers were clean. There were some seasonal campers but all units were neat and tidy... no old trashy units. Sites were large and mostly level. The park has a long fishing pier, small boat launch area for canoes and group camping area with covered pavilion. This is a perfect park for watching launches from the Kennedy Space Center which is directly across the river from the park. It took 9 minutes from the park entrance to the KSC Visitor Complex entrance. The highest rate one can pay is $22/night for a non-resident full hookup site. There were squirrels everywhere and a hawks nest with babies high up in a tree. The only reason we rated this a little lower was due to the narrow roads. Trying to manuvering a 40' motorhome through all the trees brought us within inches of scraping trees in some spots. The park needs to cut some trees further back from the turns in the roads for better big rig access. We will definately return.

Good for overnight stop. Owners are very friendly and work hard to maintain clean campground. Most sites are on big crushed stone base. A few are on grassy area by pond - these appear to be more long-term sites. Owner directed us to the site and made sure we were settled. There are a few shade trees but most sites are in the open. You will have no problem with satellite reception. We would stay here again.

We spent a month at this park. The staff was friendly and the park clean. Most are here for the winter. Not many sites available for overnight or short term stays. Reservations are necessary. The pool is small, clean and heated. The clubhouse large and clean. Laundry facilities clean but slightly expensive. During the winter months regular activities are scheduled. Only a couple of shaded sites. Sites are adequate in width and were long enough to handle a 40' motorhome pulling a large covered trailer. Many pets and the management is serious about owners taking pets to the dogwalk area to do their business and then cleaning up after. The grounds are well kept but lots of rain left some sites swamped until the sun came out. Large water retention ponds in the middle and side of the park so you didn't feel like you were backed right up to your neighbor. There was plenty of room to put out slides and awnings. Family friendly but there is not much for children except the pool. The majority here are retired. Close to WalMart, restaurants, fuel and walking distance to Winn Dixie. We would stay here again.

We stayed in the newer pull thru sites at the front of campground. Nice lighted pedestals containing the electric and cable hookups. Pull thru sites are all on large crushed stone - no grass. Nice level sites. Some of the speed bumps have been removed. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Treasure Bay casino. Train runs in back of campground - we didn't hear it very much. We would go back again.
