Overpriced for what they have. Off season rate the same as in the summer when you could, at least, enjoy the pool. Wi-fi non-existant at our site; only at the office. Cable TV was limited and very fuzzy. Interior roads have ruts and big holes. Sites very unlevel. Their store is the best feature. They have a good variety in case you forgot or something breaks. We stay here only because there is no other place on our route. Will probably try to find something else, somewhere in the future.
Nicely landscaped, clean, small park. If there was a pool, would be a 10 for sure. There is train noise, but at least not the horn blasting, only the track noise. We are used to quiet, and did not find the train so bad, and there is no night highway noise. A few restaurants at the same exit. Most campers are one night stays. Good Wi-Fi, OK cable. CW approx. 30 miles south in Bowling Green. Have been here before, and will return.
This is a campground of extremes-could be an easy 10 campground with a little cleaning and maintenance. Old (permanent) sites have bad interior roads and broken pads. Several dirty, mold covered trailers. Other sites nice and tidy. Several area workers using as a base, but all were quiet. Pools clean, but not heated. Laundry functional, but room could use a cleaning and a few amenities. Water was bad even with an external and internal filters. You should not "see" water. We chose this campground to be close to Biloxi without the train noise, and it was perfect for that. Boat launch and cafe caused a lot of traffic on main road. Big grounds to walk around-our dog loved it. We will return.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Lots of activities for adults (kids would be bored), and the "regulars" were very helpful and welcoming. Excellent heated pool, but can get crowded on warm days. Dog friendly and everyone keeps it clean. Beverly Hills does not have much to offer, but anything needed is in surrounding towns 8-10 miles away. Owners very helpful and friendly. Stayed here 40 days, and will definitely return!
Nice setting on the Gulf, but sites are WAY too tight! Neighbor's sewer right next to your picnic table. Wi-Fi is not sufficient for basic e-mail, and could not use for the entire week. No breakers for electric. Just plug in, and that makes me nervous. We don't really need new and sparkling, but this place is in need of some remodeling; everything is just old. Dryers in laundry did not get the job done in one cycle. Managers are nice, but seem to spend a lot of time raking rocks. Camped here before, but probably will not return--just too tight!
Nice park. Not a 10 because I would prefer a pool (in better weather) and the fire rings are too close to your neighbor. About 90% seasonal, but most are kept very tidy. Not too busy this time of year, but suppose much faster paced in the summer. Nice area to roam-little shops and restaurants abound. Good laundry, playground for kids, friendly hosts. Rate reflects week special plus a few more days. Will definitely return.
Nice place for overnight stay. No cable and only one hour of free wi-fi keeps from being a 9 or 10. Quiet, nice place for kids, lots of room for pets (although not fenced). Mostly gravel roads and sites. Would stay here again, but only as an over-nighter.
Park was a bit difficult to find, as it is located behind a strip mall. In spite of location, park was quiet at night-some highway noise during the day. Shade trees small and sparse, but shade not an issue when we camped. Sites were good size and mixed types. Wi-Fi and cable good. Mangers very helpful and nice. Good central location for day trips. We would definitely camp here again.
Excellent camp resort. Pools, playground, ball courts provide lots for kids to do. Dog run holes are filled, but why try to have any grass there? Pea gravel makes more sense. Washers are a bit small, but all areas are spotless. Good store. Breakfast, lunch and snack menus are good. Major stores, restaurants nearby. Minor highway noise only reason not a 10. Will always arrange trip west to include a stay here.
