Our favorite campground in Branson. Its about a half mile south of 'the strip'. Wi-fi throughout the park. Cable TV was included. Reasonably priced (and good) breakfast at the Convention Center. Shuttle service to shows available (not free). Our site was level enough. Helpful, friendly management and employees. We'll be back.
Our favorite campground in this area. Very good maintenance and good owners. Our site was more level than average. Good wi-fi. Sites are close together and there are some long-term residents, but we can't complain about either. Very easy to get to from Interstate 40 (exit 360 - go north). Some road noise from I-40, but it wasn't too bad.
A clean, flat park - nice owners. Very close to I-55. While they advertise wi-fi, it appears not to be set up properly, and the owners don't know enough about it to maintain it. The gravel and grass part of my site was solid and level, but the grass only part was spongy. Okay for an overnight stop, but I don't know if we'll be back.
Not a beautiful park, but it's quiet and has what I needed, including good wi-fi. A lot of dust from the many gravel roads. I can't see them paving all the roads, but maybe they could oil them in the meantime. I suspect non-galvanized underground plumbing, because when I first turned on the water, a large quantity of rust was expelled. Then it cleared. Apparently, this site hadn't been used in a while. I would suggest people run their cold water first for a while - just in case. But once the water cleared, it was fine in terms of quality - I didn't detect any sulphur. Very quiet. I did need to level a little bit though. We would come here again - the wi-fi helps make up for any shortcomings.
I agree with previous reviews, so there's no need to repeat their points. I asked about their Wi-Fi when I checked in, so she put me fairly close to the office. Even so, I have just two of five bars. But it worked fine. A decent overnight stop - north of exit 143 off I-40.
After reading previous glowing reviews, we were quite disappointed. Some roads are narrow in in poor repair. Many sites require a lot of leveling capability. The showers were less than perfect. The Wi-Fi never worked. The staff was quite nice and conscientious, though.
Rustic - tall trees. Level site with good hookups. It appears they have a lot of "seasonal sites" with unoccupied rigs during the week, but that wasn't a problem. It should be noted that the exit is on a different road than the entrance, which can lead to some initial confusion if one tries to retrace his route back to I-55.
Plenty of trees, clean level sites, and good hookups. Great staff, always attending to the park. Breakfast is available at a very reasonable cost. Immaculate bathrooms. Store is small but well-stocked. We'd go there again.
Yes, the park is close to I-57, but that's convenient for an overnight stop. Friendly staff, well-maintained park, good wi-fi, good power and water. It isn't perfect, but we've found it good enough to stay here 3 times in the last two years. And we'll probably be back.
A municipal park fairly close to I-64, but far enough away to avoid road noise. A large gravel area (not very level) segmented into sites. Not very well lighted at night. Hard-to-find and distant trash containers. Good power and water. Friendly staff, but not many of them. Suitable for an overnight stop, but I don't know if we would return.
A beautiful CG, conveniently located between Cincinnati, Dayton, and close to Kings Island. Many helpful, friendly workers and escorts. Some of the roads are a little narrow and a few rough spots, but okay otherwise. The swimming pool is small. One of our all-time favorite campgrounds.
Plan on a rather narrow, steep 3½ mile downhill trip to get to the campground. Located fairly close to I-44, so expect some road noise. Some of the park's gravel roads are less than flat and the gravel size is way too big. Hookups at our site were probably not to code and dangerous - the water and electric hookups were in the same metal box (which was also the site marker). The sites are down low enough that some cell phones and air cards won't get a good signal. There were little bits of litter around our campsite. We used this as an overnight stop - I doubt if we would do it again.
