This is a lovely park & very well maintained. NOW, the minuses - the owner & manager are extremely disorganized when it comes to finding a spot & checking you in. (They don't know what they're doing!) It's also next to a dirt road that isn't watered or oiled down so if you like to wash your toad & your rig this is the park for you! Farmers drive their equipment at 30 miles an hour. It's also in the midst of a swamp which they call wetlands with lots of bugs! We wouldn't stay here again & will not recommend it to our many camping friends.

Although an older park, it worked well for our 40' motorhome w/4 slides & still gave us our privacy, which we don't get in some of the older parks. We only stayed 1 night because of work being done @ Camping World, but would have rather stayed here than at the St. George Resort where we'd spent the week. Staff & owner were very helpful. We'd definitely stay here again!

I would have rated this park higher except for the fact that the sites are very narrow. We could see into our neighbor's windows from our motorhome, and our awnings were only inches apart. The park is well maintained and very clean. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. Not sure that we would stay in Boise again because of the traffic: probably would choose another park because of the closeness of the rigs.

This is part of Cactus Pete's Casino, and is self check-in. Since there is no one to check you in, the actual pull-through spots for a motorhome w/toad are taken by smaller rigs that unhook their vehicles leaving the bigger rigs to unhook and take the back in spots. We were here at 3p.m. and all of the pull throughs were taken. Meals were very expensive considering it was a casino. We probably wouldn't stay here again.

We stayed here for a week waiting for our mail. We had the best spot in the park. Most of the rigs were permanent or construction workers. It is an older park and mostly gravel, which meant a lot of dust. Staff was helpful and friendly. We'd stay here again, but only when passing through.

This is an older park & the sites aren't long enough to be considered pull-throughs. We have a 40' RV w/4 slides and we didn't have enough room to put our awnings out. The staff was very helpful. However, we probably wouldn't stay here again.

Rate denotes P.A. discount. We stayed for 1 night on our way to AZ. Nice, friendly staff making check-in easy. It's off the beaten path so very quiet. We would stay here again, but wouldn't pay the $2.00 for the internet, which was very slow, but may have been because of where we were located.

There are very few parks in this area to choose from and this one worked well for us. We found it to be well maintained, the staff was friendly and helpful. We were near the laundry so our Wi-Fi worked well. We were in a pull-through site so wouldn't have had to unhook "the Toad", but we did because we were visiting friends who live in Bismarck. We would camp here again when we come to visit our friends.

This is a beautiful city park with RV sites. We've stayed here before, but in the late Fall. When it rains it is very muddy and puddles are big enough to wade in. Sites are narrow, but we were able to put out all 4 slides. When we were here in late June it had rained all week, so we were in mud again. This park works for us when we are visiting relatives. We would stay here again.

A rating of "1" for this park is being very generous! We paid for a week not knowing what we were getting into. This shouldn't even be a Good Sam Park as they don't recognize the discount. This park is 45 years old and looks it! If you choose 50amp you don't have sewer, only 30amp gives you a full hook-up site, which is a joke. If you have chemical in your holding tank you must dump prior to going to your spot and you must dump when you leave if you have stayed for the week. This park may have been great 45 years ago, but really isn't able to accommodate the larger, newer RVs. We were up in the woods, our site was not level and it was muddy. The 2 1/2 miles away from a main road was a 2 lane, narrow road that was paved, but bumpy. This is not a convenient park. There is a 24-hour Wal-Mart where you make your turn. You would do well staying there. We would NEVER stay here again!! Had we only paid for 1 night, we would have left!

This park is located just off the freeway so access is good. We had no problem with freeway noise. We were in a pull-through site and found it to be fairly level. We had no problem with having our 4 slides fully extended. There is a little cafe that serves mostly hamburgers and it made for a good dinner without our having to cook it! We would stay here again if in the area.

A nice park just off the freeway. We weren't bothered by any freeway noise. This may have been a KOA park at one time. It was clean and well maintained. The older couple who own it were trying to sell it. There is a pond with "a resident goose". We were in a pull-through so didn't have to unhook "the Toad". We would stay here again if in the area.

This is a motel/RV Park and is a good place to stay when passing through. We were in a pull-through so didn't have to unhook, which made it convenient. We have 4 slides and didn't feel that we were infringing on the campers on the sites beside us. Wi-Fi is free and worked well. The Cafe on site had a great breakfast at a very reasonable price. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is a Passport America Park, so we paid 1/2 price. We have stayed here 4 times in our comings and goings, and would stay here again. It is a clean park with very friendly and helpful staff. They have free Wi-Fi that worked well. Sites are level and we were in a pull-through, so didn't have to unhook.

This is a Passport America park, so we paid 1/2 price. We were traveling through to our destination, and this was a good park for a stop-over. We were able to have a pull-through so didn't have to unhook "the toad." Internet was good. There is an old, unused motel on site which gives you memories of old Route 66. We would stay here again.

We camped here with our RV Club and there was enough room here this time of year to accommodate our group. If you've not been here before it's very difficult to know where to go to check in. You have to park across the road from the office: when there are rigs parked there, it isn't noticeable. We were in the upper area, which is probably an addition to the original park. It is very close to the highway so very noisy! The sites are ample enough, but if you don't stay on the road or on the patio it's quite rocky and you must watch where you walk so you don't fall. This park is much too large for our liking. We would not camp here again!

I must agree with the previous review - the sites were hard to get into, at least over in the area where the park models are. We were here for 10 days & were charged the weekly rate & daily rate. I think that the rates are high for that particular park. The facilities were all clean, although we didn't use any of them. The staff was efficient & polite.

We stopped here for the night on our way to Colorado, but decided to stay a 2nd night so that we could check-out the area where they have the Balloon Festival in December. Father and son were working the evening we checked in and were very helpful. They offer a breakfast and dinner during the summer which we found reasonably priced and quite good. The gift shop is well stocked with a variety of items. A new waterfall feature is being built and looks like it will be awesome. We are thinking of staying here in December for the Balloon Festival if there isn't snow in the passes then.

We didn't have reservations & availability was nil so this park worked out well for us. We prefer our own bathroom & shower facilities so the lack of such was not a problem. We were in a spot where we had a spectacular view & were able to see the steam trains coming & going. Although close to the road we didn't hear any road noise inside our rig. We paid for a week, & stayed an extra day because of rain & chose not to hook up or travel since we weren't going that far. The couple who checked us in & were doing the watering duties, etc. were most friendly. Although there was no pool, restrooms, laundry etc. the price reflects the Durango area. We would stay here again if in the area.

We chose to camp here when the weather decided to be in the triple digits - having only 30 amps it was very difficult to keep the motorhome cool without having to use the generator during the day. The sites weren't that level & our 40' motorhome barely fit. We had a view of the lake & were able to swim to get cool. We had reservations to stay an entire week, but because of the heat chose to leave early. It was a great place to stay & we didn't mind the drive to Yosemite Nat'l. Park. We would stay here again, but not in the summer.

We stayed here going & coming from our destination & were most impressed with the sites, although gravel, very level, the cleanliness of the facilities, & helpfulness of the staff. If we didn't live in Paradise (Lake Havasu City, AZ) we would make this our winter vacation spot when the oranges are ripe. We were even given cold fresh grapes that had been picked across the road. We definitely would camp in this park when in the area again.

This is by far one of the nicest RV parks in the area & puts you right next door to the "Spruce Goose" & in the heart of wine country. While the park is superior, the manager needs a course in customer service. We've stayed here several times while in the area, but while it was being managed by another couple. We would not return because of the manager's attitude. We are full time RVer's & have never encountered a manager such as this.

We stayed here several years ago, and this year while on our way to ND, crossed over from the OR side to stay here again. You can't beat the price: $10. with the Golden Age Pass! It was very clean & staff was helpful & very friendly, as were the other campers. It doesn't have all of the amenities of a full scale park, but being on the river it doesn't need to be. Be careful that you don't turn too early for the park entrance as we did. No turnaround and had to back out.

This is one of the nicest state parks that we've camped in. Most cannot accommodate a 40' motorhome. I would have rated this a "10" had there been full hookups. Each site is blacktop & has a fire pit & picnic table, with enough room to park your vehicle. Lots of bike & hiking trails. We only stayed 3 nights, but plan on spending 2 weeks next summer.

We normally stay at Crown Villa, but since we were only going to stay 2 nights we thought we would stay here. That was not a good idea. This park is not "Big Rig" friendly. On our way out we scraped the door & roof of our motorhome on trees that are along the exit. The Wi-Fi was poor, we were toward the back & could hear the traffic & could see old decrepit mobile homes on the other side of us. This park was not worth the price that was charged. We will not stay here again.

This is a nice park with cement pads. The sites could be a little wider & longer to fit the larger rigs. You have a view of the Sierra Nevada mountain range & in season you can see deer in the field. This is the second year that we have stayed here for a week. The laundry is clean & well maintained. My laptop worked fine, but my husband's did not pick up a signal.

We stayed here for a wk. on our Passport, but had to extend our stay at the regular rate ($28.00) because of medical reasons. This is a fairly new park & although there were only 2 washers & dryers I had no problem being able to use them. Both Laundry & Restroom facilities were clean. The pool is heated, but we saw no one in it the entire time that we were there. It's right next to the Club House. They were getting ready for their annual music fest, which they have twice a yr. It would have been fun to stick around, but we had to be on our way. The staff was friendly & most helpful. Should you need medical attention while there, you're in a good area. I was impressed at how quickly I was accommodated & how well. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is one of our favorite parks! The staff are great. Being late Fall the pool was closed, but the hot tub was great. The Club House offers a great kitchen, big screen tv, games & an extensive exchange library. We will be back.

This is a wonderful park, sites are large & very private, however, the rudeness of the reservation staff leaves you with a bad impression. The restrooms, laundry areas & Club House are always clean. The Club House is too small to cater to a large group & they've had problems with the plastic chairs that they use. Wi-Fi is very poor. They need more antennaes to accommodate the number of sites. The only place that reception is good is in the Club House. The park doesn't offer planned activities. Activities were organized & planned by the campers. It is rumored that the park is for sale so that may explain the attitude of the staff.

This is one of the friendliest RV parks that we've been in! I'll agree about the road noise, the 1st night we didn't get much sleep at all, but it was better after we purchased ear plugs. The roads are narrow, 2 cars cannot pass each other & the speed bumps don't help. The largest laundry is outdoors & when one resident monopolizes the machines it takes a while to get your laundry done. (perhaps a note re: thoughtfulness of others might help?) It is close to Orlando which is a plus & there are alot of in-park activities.
