First of all, this site is very far away from everything on a very narrow road. The sites are very close together. There is 1 shower in the ladies restroom and there are 100 sites. The restroom was not very clean at 5PM. Would not stay here again.
Park has lots of rules. WiFi is only on the patio of her house. There is absolutely no towels or hand dryers in the restrooms. Campground is quiet and OK. Impossible to shave, because the water shuts off unless you hold the faucet open.
Michigan usually has great state parks but this one was not as good as most. No hot water in the showers. Barely luke warm. My husband did say that the men's restrooms had hot water. The campsites are a little close too. The beach front Holland State Park was all pavement, no trees and parked very close together.
What a nice campground. You cannot go wrong with a Florida State campground usually. This one is exceptional. Not only are the campgrounds nice and private, they also have a wonderful Stephen Foster museum, a Carrillion that plays his music a couple of times a day on the bells. Many special weekends of arts and crafts and music and dancing. Well worth the price of admission.
Very poor internet reception. Many complaints according to personnel on duty at night. Also cable TV is just so/so. This is very expensive to stay here so we expected more. It is very pretty but that is about it.
