This is a very nice campground. Owners were friendly and helpful. Sites were shady and well off the road so it was nice and quiet. Campground is located close to many of the major attractions so I would recommend it as a home base. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Very nice park with lots of river frontage. Playground for kids with a plain but free putt-putt course. Nice dog run and a small, but clean swimming pool. Had full hookups on a pull-through site. There are cabins close to camp sites so extended family can visit. Management was very nice and led us to our site. Will be staying here again next year. Would have given park a 10 except it's a little tight getting into and out of some of the sites.
Enjoyed our stay. Grandkids loved the dinosaur tracks. Picnic tables are on opposite side of RV at most sites so not user friendly. There is a long set of stairs behind one of the campsites that takes you down to the river. 7 dollars per person per day park use fee. Had several sites that would work for groups (up to 3 trailers). Restrooms were very nice and clean and central to campsites. Would stay here again.
We really enjoyed our stay in this park. Right on the South Llano River which is spring fed so it is always full. Rented kayaks while there and had a blast. Had a 30 amp back-in site with picnic table and grill. Park has new owners who are extremely nice and ready to help. Rate is $25 a night plus $5 for each person so we payed $35 a night for two of us for full hookups. Would definitely stay here again.
