The first item on my list is to check the bathrooms before we check into a campground. The bathroom was immaculate! It was so clean I would have felt comfortable not wearing shower shoes! We were checked in by a very friendly gentleman who I assumed was the owner. His wife guided us to the campsite, which was located next to the pavilion and across from the shower facilities. Our rig, is a motorcycle pulling a tent trailer, so they knew we would need their facilities. They also informed us that the weather forecast was for storms and steady rain for the next evening and the next day. That was the other reason that they put us on that site so we could use the pavilion. The next day, we actually met the owner who is an outstanding person. We did enjoy our one day of rainy weather by spending time in the office, talking to the owner playing checkers, reading, checking our e-mail (which we had access to at our campsite). If you are ever in Kentucky to see the Mammoth Cave National Park, I highly recommend spending several nights at this park. It certainly was our pleasure finding this treasure in Cave City.

We enjoyed the campground, the maintenance people were excellent and the paid showers were very cleaned. We were told that there was Wi-Fi but not were our site was located which was in the field. We had to go to the laundry room to plug in which was very inconvenient and very hot during August. Even if we didn't need to plug in we were out in the open and was still warm for this time of year. Our cell service was none existent. So basically we were in the DEAD ZONE at this campground. Otherwise then these two inconveniences it was perfect. But since I have two elderly parents and couldn't communicate with them unless I left my site, I was not a happy camper!
