This is a great little park with very nice buildings and newer cabins. All sites are in the shade. We had site #5 close to the office and the Wi-Fi was very good. The campground overlooks a lake, but you need to walk down a nice path to get to it. Several cabins overlook the lake. Each site has a nice fire pit and picnic table. The owner gave a fairly stern request about the amount of garbage we could have. I understand his point but it could have been presented a little nicer. The only downside here was no TV for those who like to watch. We would stay here again. Our rate reflected Good Sam discount.
We stayed here for one night. I am somewhat undecided about this park. It is huge and has great potential. The laundry room was the best I've seen with six new washers and dryers. There is also a phone in the room that you can use a credit card to make calls. On the down side it is gravel and dust as so many places are. There are no fire pits and it is a little walk to dumpsters. My biggest complaint here was that some of the staff acted like they didn't need the business. With a boatload of empty sites I would be a little nicer. The campground host was very nice. Not sure we would stay again.
We stayed here for one night in a full hookup site. The campground is setup in little clusters of sites. Our section (50) was totally in the trees. We had the pleasure of being there when the female elk had their calves in the campground for protection from preditors. It made for great wildlife watching. We would definitely stay here again.
We loved this RV park. It was clean and set among the trees and mountains. We had a Deluxe site and were very pleased. It was a bit of a walk for change and ice as both are only obtained at the RV office. The only reason this did not get a 10 was because there was only a community fire pit and we prefer a pit at our site.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I believe we were early in their season as they were busy making upgrades etc. The cons were: it was dusty, we were plagued by mosquitoes and couldn't use the firewood we bought, and there were mostly permanent sites, some of which could have been better. The site was level and we had good hookups. Wi-Fi was free for an entire day and since we stayed there two days, we received two days free. Only one computer could be logged in at a time though. The location is great for this growing town.
We stayed here for one night on our way north. They gave us a site right next to the pool (72) which is enclosed. We had continual foot traffic through our site. We were told to keep our dogs on a leash, yet the owner's dogs ran loose causing our dogs to bark as they approached our door. From check-in this campground was nothing like other KOA's we have experienced. We didn't receive the normal materials or escort to our site at check-in. The grass was not mowed in many areas and the general appearance was what I consider to be unkempt. During the night, the power went out throughout the campground. It really wasn't an issue for us as we just turned on the generator. However, one gentleman we spoke with was canceling the rest of his stay. Unfortunately, we will not stay here again.
We stayed here for one night on our way to Alaska. The owner was very friendly and gave us a nice shady site along the river. The river is nice but the view on the other side of it is less than I expected. We did see a duck though. There are lots of permanent sites and mobile homes. It is a quaint and quiet campground for a stop-over. We would potentially stop again.
We stayed here for 2 nights on our way to Alaska. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view is amazing. Our site had 50 amp on addition to the rest of the hook ups. I took some pictures of the tent sites for our son since they looked pretty big. The area in general is a good place to visit. We would definitely stay here again.
