This park is a hidden treasure. We boon-docked here for 2 nights. You can literally walk to the back of just about any campsite and go fishing in the river. The park was full, but the sites are quite large, and there are numerous trees in between sites. That being said, the park was very nice and peaceful. Great bike and hiking trails. No firewood sales on site, but there was a truck that came around to sell some. We used wood from fallen trees and had plenty for free.

This is a nice, clean state park. Although you are camping close to Lake Wissota, you cannot easily get to it from your campsite. They have most of it blocked off because of erosion. There's a boat launch and dock. There are places to fish in the park, but be prepared to hike or bike to get to them. The lake is beautiful, clean, and caters to great boating and hiking. There is also a small beach for swimming, information and nature centers, and a playground with a large picnic area.

This is a beautiful campground! Although the some of the sites are narrow and some are on some steep hills, overall the park is nice. Our site had some trees too close to the camper so we couldn't use the awning. Slightly expensive rates; deposits are required in case you "damage" something. Our site driveway was paved, but not very level, so be prepared. Sites on bigger hills have a step down to picnic tables; and another step down to the fire ring. Ample activities for the kids in the pavilion.
