It depends on where they decide to put you. Yes, the pull-through sites have nice concrete pads and decent room between sites, but if they cram you into certain back ins, it's certainly not a 10. There are trashy, old hookups/trailers of various vintages and most are permanent with gravel/weedy, very crowded sites. We paid the same for this as the others did for nice concrete, level pull-through, with barely enough room to park our tow vehicle. Cable TV and WiFi worked great. But check first for where they are putting you or don't stay here. There's a beautiful state park across the road. That's where we'll go next time! We'll never stay here again.
Nice, very room sites. We had a back-in with a fabulous view of the mountains and a llama pasture. Several worker, permanent people, but it was clean and very spacious. Great overnighter on the way to Grand Tetons. Would stay here again. Verizon air card worked.
Beautiful park. Easy in and out pull through sites. Very shady with lots of trees. No satellite. Laundry was clean and nice, had plenty of machines. Quiet and the park was full. Verizon air card worked. Long, fairly level spots. Would definitely come back again.
Location, location, location. We were pleasantly surprised at the ease of parking: we had agonized over this park. We had a site on the end of a loop which helped a lot with the tightness of the sites. They are close. We used the dump station because sewer connection had to run uphill?!? If they would allow generators to run later in the evening (after 8 p.m.), it would greatly help the comfort of the park. But it is in a great location to visit Yellowstone. We would rate it a lot higher when electricity is back.
Very busy park. Congestion at main entrance, but we bent our landing gear using another entrance. Not much room to maneuver big rigs when they are leaving and coming in at the same time. It's on the main highway in Cody right in a curve. Noisy at night. The sewer connection is UNDER the RV and we couldn't use it, but when we tried to find the dump station: it's on the entrance (not exit) side of the park. Our back-in site had a view out the back, nice. Laundry was acceptable. Would probably try the other park outside of town next time.
Nice quiet park outside of Lander. Convenient to everything we did. Stayed 3 nights. Sites were super easy pull through, long and level, roomy, but gravel. Clean and everything worked well. Dish was easy to set up: no trees at all. Some manufacturing facility for a view out the back, but a golf course and mountains elsewhere. Would stay here again.
With cable TV and WiFi would be a 10. Super nice city park with large trees and pull through sites (long and level.) Lots of road noise from Hwy 81, but no problem. It's a connection between I-70 and I-80. Permit and donation box at Info Station. Some sites seem to share utility connections. Other towns should take notice of this. Great for overnight. Would stay again.
Excellent park. Easy in and out with level, roomy pull-through sites. Small trees. Called on the road for reservations and left message. They called me right back with reservations!! Nice town. Everything worked well: check-in, cable TV, WiFi. Would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful State Park with roomy sites. There are several sections to the park. We discovered an area almost empty on our walk around the park. The section on the lake was full. Very quiet at night. Dish worked well. Verizon Aircard worked well. Nice level, long spots. Cable TV and WiFi would have been a 10. We would definitely stay here again.
Park needs landscaping attention. Some sites were too close together; others look nicer. A bad experience with owner resulted in the low rating. They did not tell us our site had been dug up and our 5th wheel instantly sank up to the frame in gumbo mud. Took a wrecker and our 3500 over an hour to pull it out. Damage to RV. He had an attitude and we will not be back and will not recommend the park. He did pay for the wrecker, but he did charge us for the stay.
