This park is not bad, but not the greatest. The noise and smell from the rock quarry next door can get a little annoying depending on where you stay but isn't a deal breaker. Some of the sites offer some shade but others not so much. It was off season but everything was clean and there were pretty many people camping. We have been in the summer too and the pool is very nice, but you do have to drive over to it if you don't want to walk 3/4 mile. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is one of are favorites. Huge big trees make for some very shady sites especially the loop from 94-111. Some sites can be tricky if you have slides, or awnings. Nice hiking trails, and a 50 acre lake. The lake is down right now due to a leak in the dam though. The bathrooms were dirty, but we use the facilities in our TT so I couldn't care less. The grass was a little long too. Looks like everyone is suffering from budget issues. Very nice park with strong electric but low water pressure. Dump station was under repair while we were there. Wifi is now available for a fee. Will return.

Not nearly enough shade for me. We like to camp in the woods, not a field with the occasional shade tree. This place is in a gorgeous location in the Big South Fork Recreation area, and really close to the Scenic Railway but seems outdated, and not well taken care of. Considering how far it is away from everything and what you get I would not stay here. If you don't like the woods consider this park. It would be very very quiet.
