Fabulous grounds, shade trees. Great idea for families to have a shower & toilet in one individual room, and there are several of these rooms. They could be cleaner, with mats and without mold in the corners & on the curtains. TV cable not long enough. The young women who checked us in couldn't get rid of us fast enough (there was no one but us and her colleges) speaking faster than a speeding bullet. We had to find our own way ("around this, turn left here, 3 rows turn right, 5 spaces down turn left") while 2 workers chatted outside in their golf carts. the river is viewable. Their lake, where they put tents, needs help & has mosquitoes.
-10 really. Great owner/hosts, informative. $ good. complimentary veggies, home grown, with registration., or pick you own. Monthlies are neat & quiet, unnoticeable. Close to highway, which is the only drawback. Weekday nights the trucks can bother a light sleeper. ADA showers/restrooms. The wheelchair shower (8x8) has a sink, but the door didn't seem to lock. The other shower rooms are standing only, no seat in it & they're about 4x8'. Clean. could use a fold down seat attached to the wall. Maybe pull the plastic chair in after you. Will go back.
Wheelchair access in newer showers/bath couldn't be better. Clean, neat, organized, lovely hosts. exercise room, hairdressers on grounds (probably by appointment) small pool w/chairs & some shade, $1 washers/dryers. only neg. is $2/day for 50amp & $2/day for lousy TV channels, tax. I would go return if Reno had more.
9+ really terrific! The managers are terrific, ready to remedy any problem or question you have; and friendly. The monthly neighbors are lovely and happy to chat with anyone. Clean, organized, compact and tidy. $1.25 laundry w/lots of space to hang your laundry in the sun. Who has that anywhere? Small complaint about the pad and bumpy dirt road. The spaces are narrow but we did it w/40'. We'll be back because there is a lot in the area to see and do.
The people & the price are the best; the camp cites & grounds are sadly neglected. A few permanent hoarders make it look bad for the several who keep their space neat. (But the management said they're leaving.) Steakhouse with singing staff and good food $$$. Back row backs up to trees & a street, but it's quiet. I will stay there again because it's convenient.
Spacious sites, clean $1.25 wash/dryers, beautiful rec room, 2 pool tables, very helpful staff (they do a terrific job). No trees & the picnic tables are still not usable. Two miles to I-40 but it's very quiet. Rate based on Good Sam discount. With trees & pool it would probably be a 10.
The road is steep as a previous reviewer wrote. The Ranger said call when leaving and they'd hold up traffic so we could swing wide. It was easy for 40' w/tow. Lovely long strip of trees, tents, RV's, party shelters, between the 30' walls of a canyon. Handicap has very long, level cement slab, the others were gravel. Pool closed for the season. Some were fishing in what seemed like a stagnant stream, but a beautiful setting next to the red rock. We'll be back. Rate for 62+.
Among the best! Quiet, great view, immaculate bath/showers with handicap assist bar, wheelchair access. Fabulous rec-room: you name it, it was here. Exercise bikes, 2 large screen TVs, dvd's, full kitchen, pool table, darts, board game, a/c, lots of tables and couches for time away from the M/H. Everything is very clean. We'll be back.
A good location. Quiet. Showers/restrooms spacious. Sites neat, dirt and gravel. The park has a little bit of everything, cabins, storage units, monthly, but neat and spread out. We had a shade tree and swing bench. Ice cream social $1.50. would return if price was less.
Nice park and facilities. Cement pads are all 40' plus. Had plastic tables with covers, a 20x20 party room, and immaculate showers/restrooms. Was 75 cents for a 4 minute shower. Fishing with a licence. Read the DO'S/DON'TS list. The Ranger rides around every hour and will ticket you, starting at $52.50. Interstate 25 is within sight and sound.
Lots of high shade trees. Has dirt/gravel good roads, easy park pull through sites, big rig friendly. Not exactly where GPS puts you but the west end of town near the Shell station. Great hosts, milk shakes and horse shoes and a long dog area. Has modern, very clean rest/showers. Has molded plastic picnic benches. Has cabins. We'll go again.
With everything considered, I would stay here again. But be aware, it's only operated by the very friendly gas station/store attendant. Gravel sites, dirt roads, nothing well defined. Somewhat neglected. Dump at site "0" when leaving. 25 cents for a hot shower. Surprisingly quiet for being off Hwy 90. Convenient, but basic.
Park has lots of tents and RV's mixed together. It's all dirt, fairly level, with lots of space around you. Just off interstate 90 with all the traffic noise. Had lots of activities, movies nightly, and bon fires. For as large as the grounds are though, they needed more then 2 showers/johns. Not returning because the price (for seniors) seemed a little steep.
I was very impressed. Considering the park was full, yes 80% with monthlies, with only 10' between each; it was very clean, very quiet 24/7. Older 5th wheels/campers, but there is no junk or clutter around them, very neat. The speed limit is obeyed, so even at 11pm or 5am there was no road noise. He runs a tight ship. We would stay again.
