Great state park and was big rig friendly. Clean and well maintained. Friendly park staff. The site we had was a back-in, but lots of space with a view of the mountains. Dog friendly with lots of trails. Very close to Walmart and dinning. Check out on line first because this park gets booked up. Would love to return.
This was our fifth visit in the last 5 years to this campground and it keeps getting better. The campground is clean and well cared. Spaces are more than ample for big rigs, easy in and out, owners are very caring hosts. The river view and ducks add to the charm. Several good places to dine out close.
Lovely park, well kept, personnel were friendly and well informed. Spaces are just too short for big rigs and fifth wheels with the large trucks. The park was just not designed for the larger units. Perfect for smaller units.
What a great campground. I agree with the other positive comments. Clean, well cared for, helpful staff, extra large sites, acres for the dogs to walk, stream with fish running through campground. Lovely country setting 4+ miles from the freeway and the short gravel road isn't worth down grading.
Great Colorado mountain campground in the forest. Campground has beautiful views, next to a mountain lake, 3 miles from Leadville. Fishing, hunting, ghost towns and the full mountain experience is available. Leadville has good restaurants, a Safeway and several business offering service needed for the area. Owners are great to work with. Satellite and phones work well in the campground. Campground was close to full, recommend calling ahead. Limited 50 amp, but we never used air conditions for the month of August. East in and out for big rig. Would love to return.
This KOA is the best campground in the area. Clean, clean and well kept with lots of space for big rigs. View of the mountains is wonderful. Owners have planted lots of trees while planning for making in and out easy for even the big rigs. The staff is exceptional and space out campers for best camping experience. Will return.
Great campground for families, located right on the Yellowstone River and within 45 miles of Yellowstone. Lots of trees with shade and a nice breeze. It is 10 miles from services, located in wooded farming area, with no freeway noise. Several large sites for big rigs with patio, grass and ample room between sites. Would stay here again.
Park has long wide sites, good for larger rigs and tow, easy in and out. Clean laundry area with several units. A bonus in the heat with large shade trees that are well trimmed to protect larger units. Is within walking distance to good dining. Pleasant management. Park in close to freeway noise. Will differently stay again.
Lovely little park in mountain high community in Idaho. Friendly and very helpful staff. Parking is on large grass lots with trees and beautiful mountains views. No problem with DirecTV. Close to small town services and local attractions: ghost towns, hunting, fishing. Very refreshing from the stack on top of each other parks. Pet friendly. Limited on the 50 amps, so call ahead. Would love to revisit.
The park is right at the marina. We backed up to the bay and enjoyed the views. It is an older park, and it looks like a lot of improvements have been done over the last year. We have by passed the park in the past due the the older run down units parked near the entrance. After you get into the campground the area does improve. It did rain everyday we were there, but no problems with the water. We have stayed at the state parks in the area, but they don't offer any services and aren't big rig friendly. We will return because the area is great.
Great roadside campground for overnight stops. River runs next to campsites. Easy in and out for larger big rigs. Clean; clean laundry room. Lovely large deck area and tables for gatherings or just lying back and enjoying the river and the view. The perfect overnight stop. Does have road noise because it is right off the interstate.
Excellent large family campground. This is the nicest campground we have been to in a very long time. It is easy in and out for big rigs, pet friendly, large lots, grass, trees, no road noise, a large fishing lake, great staff, and the grounds are well maintained. We are retired and normally stay clear of family camp grounds, but this is the exception. We will be back.
Clean and well kept park with spaces more than ample for big rigs and tow. Grassy dog run that dog owners will enjoy more than their pets. Quiet country setting in a small little town with easy in and out. Great stop over between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Would definitely stay again.
Nice clean park with nice size lots for larger coaches. Each lot has a grass area. Pet friendly with nice trail on the adjacent river. We have stayed several times as a stop over park. Agree with prior review on some freeway noise. Would rate 10 except for freeway noise.
Lovely, high desert campground with large spaces for big rigs. We have stayed here several times in the last two years. Easy in and out. Concrete pads available with ample room for big rig and tow. Breath taking sunrises. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. WiFi works well, and it is a perfect place for a overnight stay. I don't have any information about the general area, but we always look forward to stopping here.
Lovely park is full of beautiful trees and small sites. Close to freeway. Sites are not paved. Staff doesn't seem to have any knowledge of big rigs, so be warned if your rig is 40' or more before pulling in. Always unhook in the waiting area. We watched the escort lead a large 5th wheel into a large pine tree. Even the most experienced drivers had problems with moving their units into and out of the smaller infield spaces while the larger sites housed the smaller units.
