Trying to get a good nights sleep here is difficult, trains running through the night and jet traffic, and freeway noise. The driveways are not fully covered with gravel, and the 5 mph speed limit is not enforced either in the park or around the lakes creating a very dusty park. Even the tribal and security vehicles speed around the lake. The rules state that there is no charcoal or open fires allowed, but all the sites have a standing grill. None of the grills were clean. Shuttle service to the casino/hotel was great. Food at the Tiwa restaurant was excellent.
The park entrance was not well defined, there is no security here, the park is open to the street with numerous drive ways. My site was really close to another rig. Site was bare ground with a extreme pitch. I really couldn't believe this was a KOA. A lot of oil/construction workers staying in park. Behind me was a travel trailer that regularly left there dog outside with no one there. I did not enjoy my stay there.
This park is really laid out weird, during my stay there I saw several big rigs doing circles in the park trying to find their space. I stayed here based on my visit in 08 and this park has changed, gone is the nice grass. I found goats head thorns in my space along with trash, dog doo doo and twigs. The site was bare ground. This park is not being kept up.
