The showers and bathhouse were remarkable. Showers are individual rooms and very clean and well kept. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The sites were big enough to accommodate parking the tow vehicle in front of the RV. They were wide enough so you didn't feel like you were under your neighbor's slide. Most were well shaded and level. The playground was nice for the kids. The store was well stocked. Wi-Fi worked at the back of the park not just at the front building.
The sites are very close and narrow. There were 4 rigs all booked for a 30' and the sites we got weren't even big enough to hold our 26' & 28' rigs. They mix long term and short term residents together. The bathhouse was atrocious. We mentioned it to them the first day we were there and again the second day. They told us we could take it or leave it. So we left 5 days early. We won't be going back.
There were 3 RV's and we stayed there a week. The park has dusty mountainous gravel roads. They wet them on weekends but not during the week & it's really dusty. The sites are small and a bit difficult to manuver. We have a 30' RV and couldn't park our tow vehicle on our site without being in the road. Luckily we were the only ones on that particular loop so it wasn't an issue. Since we were staying a week we picked this park because it's on of the few along the parkway with full hookups. The problem with the sewer hookups is that the sites aren't level and the sewer connection is on the high side and protrudes about 4" above grade so when you add the 90º fitting you're 6 to 8" above the ground. For those of us with low profile RV's the RV sewer outlet is lower than the site inlet. Just something to be aware of if you have a low sewer outlet. All the staff was very nice except one guy, and once we talked to management about him, there were no more issues. Their site says that have a place for swimming but I wouldn't consider it.
Clean, and well maintained park with very friendly staff. The lake was great, where we fished there with our grandkids. There were 5 RV's and 2 tenters with us and we all had a great time and everyone loved the park. I would have given them a 10 but the sites on the outside of the loop had awnings which hung over the road. It wasn't an issue for us as the grassy area behind the sites was huge and well maintained. That's where we spent all our time anyway. The park was patrolled by the local police several times a day and they even stopped to chat a couple of times. A very safe, well run park.
The park is well kept. Park attendants were very friendly and helpful. Bath-houses were clean and well kept. Sites are large and level with concrete pads. They had firewood pens where they placed wood cut from the park from lightning struck trees etc. for park guests to use. I thought this was a very nice thing to do. Many of the sites are on the water and you can fish right from the site. I've read reviews about the plant noise next door but never heard it while we were there. We will definitely visit here again
