Mixed feelings. We have been going to this park for several years and two years ago it changed ownership from a family run campground to Morgan RV Resorts. We have not been happy with the type of sites they have tried to put us on in the last two years when we had requested another area altogether. This last time we were to go into the new premimum area that was made from the old tent sites that have been eliminated. we were told last minute that our site would be changed because these sites are now for park models only, even though most are not ocupied at this time. Looks like this park is going more toward seasonal and park models and away from the Transient trade. The sites they tried to put as on had low hanging branches that rubbed the roof of our RV. Most trees need trimming in this park. Sorry to see them go this way because they are about the best on the Cape from the others we have visited. most of the others cater to seasonals more than the Transient Camper also.
We have camped here for several years and this was our second time with the new owners that took over in 2007. Although it is still a very nice small campground we did notice a lack of maintenance from the new owners. We had tree branches hitting the top of our unit on site B25. Many of the trees need trimming. We also noticed more kids and dogs than in the past. At this time we would still recommend this campground and will probably continue camping there. In the past I would have considered it a 10 in by book.
This is a top notch park in our opinion. We have been here several times and always get a premium site. This year we had #140. Nice quiet and relaxing and that is what we like. This park doesn't have much for activities but is ok with us, there is enough in the area if you want it. It also has one of the cleanest laundry areas we have ever seen.
We found this park very over priced for what we got. Premium water site was on a bay not the ocean, and was nice while the tide was in but not so nice when it was out. We were told that the brush would be cut for a better view of the water but in four days there it was never done. The grass on our site #315 had not been cut in several days. Sites could have been better manicured for this price. At $99.00 per night you would expect a lot more. We could not get lodged on to the Wi-Fi and were never told about it at check in or if there was a fee for use. Out of about 200 sites only about 25 were occupied while we were there at the end of June. We will not return to this park. However we did find the staff very nice, better than a lot of parks we have been at.
