Overall this park isn't bad for this time of year. We were here during Moab's busy season. This was by far one of the cheaper places to stay in Moab for the time of year. The sites are a little close together. If you don't need hook-up's, I would suggest staying somewhere on the BLM campsites, which are really nice on the Colorado River. We have dogs so we needed AC, so we could leave them in the RV while we went to the National Parks. This park is conveniently located close to downtown Moab and the National Parks in the area. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I needed the AC hook up.
This park is a little run down, but we stayed here because it is a park on the Passport America campgrounds. The sites are all gravel, pretty close together and not really level. We never saw who was actually running the park, we just left money in an envelope. I would not like to stay here again, but if I had to it would make do for a night.
The ladies who run this park are very nice and friendly. The sites are all dirt but level. They display some older cars and motorhomes which are nice to look at (if you like that sort of thing). It also fits nicely into their theme and the old route 66. They have shaded lots as well. We did not use the bathrooms here. It is located in a good spot for going to Santa Fe and Albuquerque. I would stay here again.
We stayed here for the winter starting in December, and left at the beginning of April. If you do monthly stays, they require a $200 deposit for electricity. While we stayed here the WiFi worked when it wanted. They were constantly fixing the WiFi problem which never got fixed. Also the water was shut off a lot during the time that we stayed here (almost once a week). The issue with water was never resolved either. The bathrooms were dirty most of the time: they were clean if you were the first person to use them in the morning. A lot of people do their dishes in the bathroom as well, which isn't prohibited and is unsanitary. With all the money this park makes you would think that they would keep the bathrooms a little cleaner. The people who run the office are unfriendly and unhelpful as well. (They refunded my deposit back to someone else's credit card, acted like it was my fault and then continued to ignore my phone calls.) I would never stay here again and you shouldn't stay here so you won't have to deal with the hassle of this place. Unfortunately this is the only RV park in the area that is open in the winter unless you want to drive to Fairplay. I also agree with some of the other reviews that if you are not an owner, the management and the other owners turn their nose up at you. If you are coming to Breck any other time than winter, I highly suggest that you save yourself some trouble and stay somewhere else.
