I phoned for reservation, very helpful and nice. Was surprised to find it very easy access from I-5, close to all the shopping we could want. Large, clean sites. Easy access. Very nice man at the check in. Am very impressed and really like this park. Wish we had known about it years ago. Will be here again. Surprised it isn't on this list, it is a great RV park.
We stopped at the park because it was in Passport America, our first visit to a PA campground. But, being as it was summer, they didn't honor PA, and we paid $23 with the Good Sam discount. But couldn't even watch TV as their 50 amp, wasn't even a good 30 amp, so it was TV or Air conditioning - we chose air. The WiFi was a charge. I was so disappointed in my first PA campground I don't know how good or bad the park was. Our neighbors came in here because they also thought it was a Passport America Campground, but also had to pay full price. So I am having a hard time convincing my husband Passport is a good thing. Maybe it's a PA problem. I was unhappy with the park electricity, WiFi and $$. But it seemed like a very nice family park. Lots of kids there and they were all having fun.
After dark this was hard to find as it is 1/2 block off on our SA 2008 map. Phoned the manager, and he was very helpful and courteous directing us how to get here, and checking us in. He gave us a great, easy to find 'in the dark' site right close to the office. Perfect Wi-Fi, good cable TV, 50 amp, not long enough for our 38 ft plus attached toad, we weren't level. Too narrow, plus a tree, so couldn't put out the slide. But very clean, paved roads, nice landscaping, but I think much better for rigs without attached toads. It was an overnighter, and I noticed lots of permanents parked there. I would recommend it. Not far from Camping World.
This is the second year we have parked here waiting for the weather in the Siskiyou. I love it here. River and ducks out the front window. 50 amp, TV cable, full hookups, drive-thru site - long enough for our 38 ft plus Dodge 1500, room for slides and awning. Green grass, paved sites and roads. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Very clean and nicely laid out. Easy on/off I-5 freeway.
Free WiFi, 50 amp hookups, water, sewer, cable TV and $30/night. We found our spot high on the hill among the trees. This is a very neat campground – old time and very comfortable. Very woodsy. We stayed here while we toured all of the area. Lots of deer and elk around, and we totally enjoyed our visit. Would stay here again any time. We have a 38ft MH, and it is a little wiggly getting around.
