This is a must stay park if you are in Asheville. You can't beat the views and the beautiful surroundings. All sites are back ins with easy access. If you call, ask for a view site, you will be pleased. The road up to the top of the hill where the park is located takes a careful approach but I pulled a 40 ft fifth wheel up...just take it easy. We toured 15 states and 20 parks in our summer adventure, this park is our favorite!
This park is a great experience. It is well designed and maintained. The golf cart rentals are very convenient and a great way to get around. The transportation system (bus and boat) to the various parks are easy to access. The Trails End restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and dinner which is reasonable and does not require reservations. The only negative to the whole Disney World experience is the need to make reservations at every sit down restaurant in every park. Make sure you do reservations IN ADVANCE of the day you want to eat there. Same day reservation efforts failed every time I tried. I would return to this park without hesitation. I would not return in the summer.
This is a very nice park right on the Mississippi. It has easy access to downtown Memphis and also to I-55 and 40. Most sites were pull throughs with excellent shade. They are in the process of adding a lot more sites. The bathrooms look a little dirty from the outside, but they are great inside. If you stay here, try to get a site overlooking the river. It is well worth it. Overall a very nice park. I would stay here again.
This is a very busy and crowded park with very narrow sites. It has two pools, one with a water slide. It also has easy access to the ocean. It has sites literally 200 yards from the ocean with electrical and water only in the beach sites and is sand and dirt without shade, concrete, or amenities. Golf cart rentals are available. They didn't have that many though. Also gates at the front. If you choose to stay here in a big rig, the upper park is much nicer, cheaper and has a few large pull thru sites. The bathrooms and showers are very nice with locking doors on every unit. Overall I would not return to this park and would look for other parks on my next trip.
This is a nice little park that offers quiet and peaceful surroundings while visiting the NO area. The owners are on site and are very gracious. They inadvertently over booked by allowing someone to stay an extra night when we were to come into the park. No problems, they gave us an overflow site to hookup, THEN provided a lovely bed and breakfast room on site at the park for both days of our stay!! WOW that is hospitality. This is a small park, in process of being expanded but well worth the stay!! I would stay here again.
This is a great find in Port Arthur and right on Sabine Lake - Outstanding views! We decided to come here rather than take a chance over at Lake Charles. I would return here without doubt. Owners are on site and very helpful when you arrive. The Park is well maintained and sites #6-15 are spectacular. No pull-throughs but the layout is large and easy to back in to the sites.
A great choice to stay at while visiting San Antonio. The staff is friendly, the facilities are clean and very well planned for a park this size. Sites are all very good size, paved pads and patio areas. Lots of big oak trees for shade. The resort is located about 10 miles from downtown, very close to Sea World and has good beltway access to get to your downtown tours. We would stay here again.
Nice park about 8 miles west of town and easy access to I-40. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean. The sites were gravel, had good shade and were level. Camping world is located across the freeway which was convenient. This is a good park to stay at while touring the Albq/Santa Fe attractions.
This is a great park and very friendly staff. It has everything a family would want. The restaurants at the resort are clean, serve good food and at reasonable prices. The pool is somewhat small for the size of the resort but it is indoors which is a plus for the colder months. The sites are paved, nice size and level. Trees are very young and do not offer much shade yet. The Grand Canyon Railway Train right at the resort is a huge benefit. The train ride to the south rim of the park is a fun experience and should not be missed if you stay at this resort. I would stay here again with no hesitation!
Nice Park in a country setting. Don't expect to "walk to the beach" from this park unless you are up for about a 1.5 mile one way hike in the dunes. If the wind blows while you are at this park, prepare to clean sand out of every part of your rig! Quiet setting, clean facilities and nice views. We will not return in favor of other parks in the Pismo area that are closer to town and to the beaches.
This Park is in very poor repair and needs maintenance: Our site was flooded from a water pipe break when we arrived as were other spaces. The restrooms and showers were clean but cost $ 1 to $2 to use showers that do not maintain balance of hot and cold. Be prepared for a cold shower in stalls that are in poor condition. We will return to June Lake but not this park.
Very nice Park in the Blairsden-Graeagle area. Owners are on site and very helpful. Nice level sites located in a forest type setting. Clean restrooms, shower and laundry facility. We lived in the park for 4 months while building our home. We enjoyed our stay.
