This is a large ranch with bison, horses, camels, goats, fishing, a train, horse rides, and a very good restaurant. Very nice people, the grassland is very pretty. The TV signal is great, no cable TV, the Wi-Fi works well and I am far away from the clubhouse. I would stay here again.
Very nice park next to the Whitewater park for kayak and canoe users. Nice walk and very close to town. In the middle of a park and recreation area. Nice people, quiet, and safe. We stayed longer than expected because it was so pleasant. Only take reservations the morning you want to stay, but you can stay up to 14 days (summer) if you want. Laundry machines were very good.
Nice enough, good space, pull through. However, overpriced in my opinion. $20 plus $10 to make the reservation, then $7 each day for a car pass so the total was $37 with no sewer, no cable, no pool, no anything and just across the street is another RV park with full hookups, cable, pool, and spa for less money. State parks are becoming more expensive than private parks and offer less. Another small point was the car pass was required to be put on the passenger's side, but the booth was on the driver's side and the attendant could not see the pass. I asked why and was told because most parks have the attendant on the passenger side; it was required for all state parks.
Nice enough, near the park. Cable TV and Internet did not work outside of the office. Staff knew this, yet I listened to him give a channel list and Wi-Fi password to everybody. Then 15 minutes later, after they were parked and hooked up, folks would come in and complain. "What site are you in? Oh that site: yep the TV is not good there." I checked 10 sites and none of them worked. So this guy knew but pretended he did not because who will pack up and leave after getting set up. Sort of a bait and switch deal.
Very nice park, needed to wait a few days to get into the park. Next to downtown, very central. No views from the campground as it is sort of down next to the stream. Had Herons nesting and one night they got my motorcycle good (bird doo), but I only needed to move the bike 20 feet and it was not under the nest.
Not near the lake. The park was open, good for big rigs. The site I had did not have sewer but the dump station was easy to use. The Wi-Fi worked well and the prices were OK. Near town about 1 mile up the hill and close to the dam. It was extremely windy for one day there with gusts to 70mph, but the dust was not really bad.
Nice simple park, great staff, clean pool and spa, near state park and great for boating. Laundry was clean. WiFi is $2.50/day, but works well. Good park for a short stay or longer if you like fishing/boating.
Very nice park: was super clean. Has a pool, spa, exercise gym, laundry, sauna, bowling alley. Grills at site. Located just outside of town. The resort was totally empty when we stayed here, I think 5 RV's, staff said it was full this winter, but it is now off-season. Staff was very helpful and on duty 24 hours. PA rate for 4 nights only.
Nice people, small comfortable park, very helpful. Told me this park may be put into a historic listing: it has been here a long time. Nice area, near a lot of attractions. Cottonwood is small and very clean.
A nice park: was very clean, easy to park and leave. Has all level paved sites, pool and spa were very clean. Has a big screen TV in the clubhouse. Staff very nice and helpful. I was here at the slow season, but the park was still 40% full.
