Park is family oriented with a lot of things to keep children and adults busy. We arrived for a one night stay and felt the nightly charge for a gravel site with no cable was too high. The upper sites are on top of a hill and no shade yet.
Most sites are longterm and for smaller trailers. The pull-through sites are long and there is some shade from large trees but can be difficult to get into due to cars/vans parked in front of other campers. Campground is easy to reach from highway. The water hookup is below ground level and somewhat difficult to hookup. There are no refunds after hookup, and deposit with reservation was not refundable.
Campground staff was friendly but unable to provide accurate information about the area, especially attractions in Salt Lake City. Site was quiet, did not hear highway noise. Our pull-through site long but narrow. Another rig setup beside ours while we were away and their slide was all but touching our window awning. There were a lot of long term sites and back-ins with much wider spaces.
Nice, quiet RV park adjacent to the Sandy River. There are some long term residents but all sites are kept neat and clean. A paved parking area for toad is adjacent to pad. Office only opens at 11 AM and is not open on Sunday but there is a check-in station at entrance. If arriving when office is not open, first night must be paid in cash. Laundry requires tokens available at office. If in this area, a must for dinner is Tad's Chicken and Waffles, across the Sandy River. Excellent meal but each meal is easily enough for two people. We would return.
Nice gated campground with beautiful landscaping between sites. Signs were adequate to get to site from highway. Laundry was clean and equipped with ironing board and iron. The club room was well appointed and had a pool table and usually a jigsaw puzzle to pass time while doing laundry. There appeared to be some full time or longterm residents who worked from this campground but all sites were neatly kept. A fenced dog area is provided to exercise your dog and pick up bags are provided. The only negative is the overflowing trash bin. This may have been due to Memorial Day holiday and missed visit from trash hauler.
There are a lot of permanent residents but all the sites were neatly kept. Staff was friendly and campground was quiet. Office is not open very much but owner lives in home adjacent to entrance and is easily accessible. We would stay here again.
Beautiful view of surrounding mountains from site. Staff was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The campground is easy to access from highway but entrance can be confusing. This campground is now owned by Terrible's Casino and they have made some improvements. Poles throughout have Panic buttons in case of emergency. Pool and hot tub were not open as they were waiting for inspection of new drains. Food in casino restaurant was good. We enjoyed our stay and would return to this campground.
This campground is on an open hillside and quite windy. The staff was friendly and helpful and check in went quickly. This was a good site for an overnight and we would stay there again when passing through the area.
