Roads inside this park are rough with some tight turns but they are doable. Site was not level especially front to rear. There seems to have been alot of neglect to all aspects of this park. Way over-priced for what you get. The gentleman that checked us in showed no interest in making you feel welcome.
Our site was not level with poor drainage for water run off. The water hook up was so close to ground we could not use a water filter. Mud and debris littered the site where it had rained the day before our arrival. Easy access for big rigs. Good cable TV and Wi-Fi.
Well maintained park with mostly level sites. Easy access to and inside park. Sites are close together but have conveniently located hook ups. Good place to over night or spend a few days to see area. Good selection of cable TV channels and free Wi-Fi.
Park is conveniently located to I-10 with easy access for big rigs. Hook ups are well positioned and work properly. Our site was not level and the Wi-Fi did not work. When I went to the office to ask about the Wi-Fi I was told that someone would come by my site to check it out. 30 minutes later a lady came by and said the assigned Wi-Fi person would not get off the lawnmower, but she would try to get him to come by. We left the next morning, and he still had not come.
This was our first year to winter at this resort, and we loved it! The owner, workers and guests are so friendly and helpful. 125 new sites have been added with a new clubhouse and pool planned. The existing pool is beautiful, and overlooks Lake Pearl. If you are looking for a great place to spend the 2009-2010 winter give them a call; you will be glad you did.
Convenient to I-95 but quiet with fairly tight sites for larger rigs. Hook-ups are easily accessible and in good working conditions. Great cable but slow wi-fi. This is a basic campground but good for over night.
We stayed here for a month while visiting family and found the campground to be very clean and well maintained. Park management is friendly and responsive to the needs of their guest. Access to and inside the park is good for large rigs. They do allow children but the park caters to the adult RV lifestyle.
A very well laid out park with easy access for large rigs. Sites are long, wide, and very level. Office people are very friendly and helpful. WiFi worked very good. With that being said I could not rate this park as more than a 7 because of the noise. Airplane and vehicle traffic was very disturbing especially late at night. We were there 2 nights and were awaken at 3:30 AM both nights with the very loud airplane noise.
Easy access into park and sites. Sites are long and fairly wide with convenient hook ups. Nice stream runs through park. Cable tv and free wifi that worked great. Friendly owner. Park could use some sprucing up.
Easy access for large rigs both getting to and inside park. Sites are concrete and mostly level. As mentioned before some sites have a front to back slope. Hookups are well located and work good. Wi-Fi works good in most sites. This is a family owned park that is very well run and very friendly. Rate reflects monthly rate.
If you are looking for a clean well maintained place to visit Santa Fe look no farther. Easy access for large rigs with level sites. Great TV service and fast Wi-Fi. Very helpful and friendly people which only enhances your experience at this great 55+ park.
Easy access from I-40 with very adequate room on interior roads for large rigs. Quick check in with very friendly and helpful employees. Sites are mostly level but somewhat short. Utilities are located at the back of site causing difficulty in hooking up. Sewer connection is about 6 in. off ground making dumping very difficult. All areas of the park were very clean and well kept. Some road noise is noticeable from the interstate. Wi-Fi is very slow.
Highway signs not very good going into park. Easy access for large rigs both getting to and inside park. Most sites are large enough for larger rigs and are mostly level. Very good cable and Wi-Fi worked well. Employees are very friendly and helpful.
Very nice park with easy acess for large rigs and mostly level sites. All sites are under nice trees with grass between each site. Wi-fi does not work very well but with some patience you can at least get your e-mails.
Mostly level with adequate site size for large rigs. However they allow extended stay people to park any where and every where which limits your ability to maneuver around the park. The morning we left one extended stay site had three vehicles parked at their site with one blocking our exit route. The rates are expensive since they do not provide cable and WiFi is $4.00 per day. All this being said they probably are the best choice for the area.
Easy access for large rigs with level sites. Sites are dirt which is a problem when it rains. Good view from most sites. Good cable TV at $2.00 per day but WiFi is included in site fee. Staff could work on being a little more friendly.
Park is located on frontage road but with very little highway noise. Easy access for big rigs with level sites and a beautiful view. WiFi works good and is free. The park is owned and operated by a very friendly family. Our coffee pot went out and they made sure we had fresh coffee early the next morning. If you are in this area give them a try.
Easy access from I27 with big rig access in park. Sites are close together but mostly level. Good for visiting local attractions such as Palo Duro Canyon as there is not much to choose from in the area. Wi-fi works great and is free.
Located off hwy.77 with easy access to park and inside park for big rigs. Sites are large but you park your rig on the grass which is a huge problem when it rains. Some people had to be pulled out after a rain. Park facilities are too small for size of park. Wi-fi is worthless but for 29.99 per month you can get roadrunner high speed internet. Most park employees are friendly and helpful but a few seem to be indifferent to any problems or concerns.
Resort is very clean with friendly staff. Sites are concrete and large enough to accommodate large rigs. Beautiful setting on the bayou with bird watching from your rig. A few sites are occupied by people working near by but they all have well kept sites and rigs. A lot of seasonal people in the winter. Free Wi-Fi.
Very clean and well kept campground. Sites are large with concrete pads and patios. Shuttle bus picks you up at your site and takes you to the casino. If you show them their Trailer Life add you can pay for one night and get one free.
Interior roads are narrow but sites are of good size for larger rigs. Most sites are grass with a few being concrete. Mostly seasonal sites in the winter. Two very nice pools that were well maintained. Unless you are staying for the winter they put you up front which is close to Hwy.50. Great for the wi-fi but a lot of traffic noise. Employees were friendly and helpful. Conveniently located for visiting the Orlando area.
Nice park for overnight conveniently located near I-95. Sites are wide and long enough for large rigs, however the interior roads are narrow but with caution easy enough to navigate. Campground manager and owner very friendly and helpful. Free wi-fi.
Sites are close together with narrow access roads which makes a somewhat difficult approach to the sites if the campground is busy. They are level with adequate length. Employees are both helpful and friendly. Wi-fi works great. Some air plane and traffic noise but not bad.
Sites are somewhat close together and not to level. Easy access for large rigs. Most sites are occupied by long term residents but ok for overnight. They have security provided by the local sheriffs dept.on weekends.
The motto for the resort is awesome camping with a awesome experience. They truly live up to it. We have camped all across this country and they are one of the best. The only negative was the wi-fi service but the manager is changing the internet provider which should correct this problem.
Close to interstate 85 with easy access to the campground. To get to the over night sites you must drive thru an area that needs gravel and is muddy if there has been recent rain. Sites are large with easy access for big rigs but are very unlevel. Lot of permanent and long term sites occupied by workers which leave out very early every morning. Not much else in the area to choose from.
Very beautiful park which is kept clean and well maintained. Swimming pool and whirlpool were clean with plenty of lounge chairs but was small. Sites were spacious and easy to get into with large rigs. The pads need more gravel and leveling up. Lots of channels on cable system and wi-fi worked great.
Park was clean and grass was mowed however it does need some maintenance. Sites are tight getting into but have privacy fences between them. They are concrete and mostly level. We paid on the honor system since the office was not attended during our 16 hour stay. Not bad for over night.
Family owned and operated by very friendly and helpful people. Sites are grass with gravel pads and extra long with easy access. Mostly overnight guests but a few long term residents. Clean and well maintained park. Wi-Fi worked great.
Both office and outside staff were helpful and very friendly. One of the park owners came by our site to see if everything was ok. Park is well laid out with spacious sites some with concrete slabs. Swimming pool was very clean as was the bath houses. Tv reception was weak at best. Park was quite with mostly adults as guest.
