We stayed here as Coast to Coast with a $3 charge for 50 amp. The Wi-Fi was next to worthless. They should work on this. Since we were visiting relatives we did not spend much time at the camp. The sites are pull thru and easy to level on.
We stayed here on the PA rate. It was only an overnite stop for us. Checkin was very easy and we were give a shady site which was good because it was 92 out and the rig was hot from traveling all day. The sites were level and the Wi-Fi worked OK. The cable worked fine. Overall this campground is well maintained.
Nice park with large paved sites and grass on the side as well as a table. It has free Wi-Fi and cable. The one drawback is that it is right next to the airport. My rate was Passport America. I you want to use Coast to Coast there is a $13.10 additional charge. This is after taking the points so your cost will be $28.10. There is a flea market next door on Sat & Sun.
The rate is a weekly rate per day. The pros are: it is close to the Truman Center and to KC. Nice concrete level sites. Cons. No cable TV as advertised on web site. Wi-Fi is spotty at best. Trains come by about every 20 minutes day and night.
Rate is Coast to Coast. Campground is being well maintained. They have activities if you want to go to them. Did not have table at site, but the site was long and level. Wi-fi worked fine. Would stay here again.
This campground is mix of shaded and open sites. We were offered a shaded site and took it, since the temps were in the 100's when we were here. The site was level and long. The Wi-Fi and cable TV worked well. We would stay here again if in the area.
Rate is Passport America. Would have rated it higher, but clerk in office was nasty when my wife told her we may be late in checking out, due to a tire problem on the truck. They also shut off the water at 845 AM, without notifying anyone.
The rate is a weekly rate. The roads are narrow and in bad condition. The sites are narrow. The laundry is 2 washers and dryers in the pavilion. There seemed to be mostly tents and pop-ups here. Staff was pleasant. They have 2 small pools which are well maintained. Cable is on a limited number of sites. Not satellite friendly.
Rate is RPI Rate. Do not follow GPS read directions on web site. There are a lot of low bridges in the area. Level sites and easy to back into. Nice lakes with boats and a nice list of activities. Wi-Fi is at the welcome center. Would have given this a 10 if the campground had Wi-Fi through out the park.
The rate is as a AOR member. Large level sites. Friendly staff. We had a site with no sewer. There are sites with sewer and 50 amp are an extra charge. Since we are only here for five nights did we did without sewer. Wi-Fi is free at the sites and works very well. Would come back here in the future.
Very nice camp. Large sites. Not quite level, but all grass. Wi-Fi is free but for 8 hours in a 24 hour period. Can only get on 24 hours after the time you signed on. Sort of crazy way to do it, but it is free. Large pool and rec hall. Very nice play ground for children, Seems to be a family camp ground. Would stay here again if in area.
Rate is for Coast to Coast members. We were in Glen 2. Our site was very wide with gravel to park on and grass next to it. There was a table and bar-b-q on the site. The playground across from our site was well maintained and large. Would have given higher rating, but when we took a walk we found a number of other areas that were very run down.
Rate was with Coast to Coast membership. Stayed here for an overnight stop. Wi-Fi worked good. Site was concrete back in that is well angled and easy to back into. A little narrow, but good for overnight. Site was just long enough for me to leave the truck hooked up (32') fifth wheel with crew cab long bed truck. Would stay here again.
The rate was passport America. Easy on and off of I-10. Long level pull through concrete spots. Did not have to unhook the truck. Breakfast was good. They have TX waffles. Stayed her once before and would stay again if in area.
Reasons for the lower rating are: Cons 1- Sites are close together 2- Wi-Fi is very slow 3- Roads have pot holes 3- Roads are narrow. Pros Staff is very pleasant, sites are concrete and level. Only 12 miles from river walk. Honors Passport America for full stay.
The rate was Passport America. Site was wide and level. Easy to get into since we were only here for an overnight. Water pressure seemed fine to me. Stayed here a number of years ago and would come back if going through Las Cruces.
We stayed here as AOR members and rate reflects that. The staff was very friendly and we were allowed to pick our own site. Site was level with a cement pad next to it. No table was provided. While they do have Wi-Fi, there is a $2 per day charge and can only be used on one computer (not good for us since my wife and myself have laptops). Overall it is a nice place to stay with activities almost every night. I would stay here again.
Very friendly staff. Grounds are clean. We had a large site that was easy to get into. Some are smaller and look harder to back into. Entry way is very bad - easy to miss when coming from Ramona and very steep. I came very close to scraping back of rig. Wi-Fi is only at club house and depending on membership there is a $2 charge.
Stayed here a Coast 2 Coast member. I do not usually rate a campground as a 10. This one rates that. Very friendly staff, well maintained grounds. They include cable and Wi-Fi for free. Sites are large and level. Laundry room is clean and at a good price for wash and dry. If in the area I would stay here again.
Stayed here as RPI Member. Nice looking campground with lots of boat docks. Pros Very nice children's playground, nice grass areas at the sites Cons No TV reception, No Wi-Fi, and reason for not rating higher - sites was very unlevel.
We stayed here as Coast 2 Coast members. Excellent park: it is now ESL/Encore. Very well maintained: the sites are wide and private, most have trees on each side. They are level and easy to back into. Wi-Fi is free, but located in club house and near pool. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Some sites are satellite friendly, some are not. They give you a list of the ones that are when you get here. Only drawback to staying long is there are no sewer hookups. I would stay here again in the future.
Stayed here for a few days. The sites are very close together. I would say less then 15' wide. They put us in the area with only two way hookup: water and electric. This may have been since we were here through Coast 2 Coast. Office staff seemed very friendly. An older campground which was good before slides were put on rigs.
The campground looks like it is fairly new. Sites were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Reason for lower rating is as follows. Street in front of sites is narrow. If someone is parked opposite your site hard to back in. Cable is very limited - mostly local channels, none like TNT, USA, etc. So it seems to be misleading when they say cable. Wi-Fi speed is slow and was down in the early morning.
Thanks to those that posted to use exit 18 not 22. The road from Exit 22 off I-84 is very steep and about 6-8% grade for about 4 miles. Exit 18 off I-84 is much better. Entrance is right past the large green fire station and can be missed easily. We stayed here for 10 days and found the place very quite and clean. Back in sites are easy to get into. The owner is friendly and very informative of the area. I would stay here again in the future.
Office staff is very friendly and helpful. Nice trees and grass at all sites. Laundry room is clean and not overpriced. Wi-Fi works well and able to get Sat service from the site I was at. Sites are level and long. Con's - Narrow sites. Right off the Hwy so you do get the noise from the Hwy.
Rate is with good Sam discount. Very nice looking campground. My rating is based on the following - While most sites are pull through, they are difficult to get into since the road in front and back of them is narrow. Right off Hwy so you get the noise from the trucks. Wi-Fi was slow, but included in the price. Sites were concrete pads, but not level. Positive point is it is got a security gate and there are trees and grass at all sites
Used Passport America rate. Stayed here for 3 days while truck was worked on. Planned on overnight stay there was no shade so it was hot. Staff was friendly and helpful. Basically it is a large parking lot with hookups. Within walking distance to downtown little Rock. Would stay here again for an overnight. Nice view of the river and walking area along it
Stayed here for a few days while visiting someone in Richardson. Close to were we wanted to be. Nice shade (temp over 100 when we were there) somewhat level sites. Lots of permanent people there. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Would stay there again when in the area.
Stayed here for an overnight. Staff friendly nice level pull through site and long enough so I did not have to unhook. Only problem is there free Wi-Fi was not operating and they did not seem to know what to do about it. Some shade which was good since it was 96 when we got here.
Stayed with Passport America Card: needed a place for an overnight. Very clean campground with concrete pads at an angle so back in is easy. We had 50 amp free Wi-Fi in the lobby of the hotel. Very clean and easy on off of I-95.
Wi-Fi has a charge if you want it at your site. Said there is free Wi-Fi at office. Washing machines were out of order. Nice wooded area with a lake and pull through and backin sites. Satellite can be gotten from some sites not from all. Ask at office for a satellite friendly one. Most sites 30amp some are being upgraded to 50 amp. Overall we enjoyed campground and would return.
Rated 4 for the following reasons 1- Roads are narrow and very bad. Dirt with holes 2- First time I was ever charged to use a dump site when I was staying at a campground. 3- Looked at laundry room and decided to wait since it was not especially clean. 3- Original site I was given was a horror. Maintenance man got us changed to a better site. It was still not near level - Campground was about 25% filled and they did have some better sites. 4- Cannot get any major TV stations. Positive side: Free Wi-Fi.
We stayed in one of the new pull through 50Amp sites. They are very long and wide. The staff was friendly and we enjoyed the stay. There were two problems. 1, The Wi-Fi is extremely slow. 2. When I booked the reservation it was only for 4 days and I was given the Passport America rate. I called and extended the stay by one day. I was not told that this would be at the full rate since it was a Friday night. When I said something to the owner about this she said she had told here son to call me back and tell me, but he had not, so I could leave without staying or pay the full price. Since it was there mistake they should have at least given me a partial discount.
Very nice campground. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My rate was based on a combination of Good Sam and Passport America. The sites were very long and no problem getting into. Only drawback is there was a charge for the Wi-Fi.
Stayed here for 4 nights. Site has very poor drainage and was wet when we got here. Never dried since it rain again on 3rd day. There was no WiFi and cable TV was $1 per day. Roads in the area we were in, were dirt and very badly maintained. The pros of the place are that the security is very good, nice pools and lake which are well maintained. One laundry room for 600+ sites, so forget that. Sites need to be worked on.
We stayed on a w/e site. This was one row over from the lake and had a view of the lake. The spot was narrow and I could either put my slide out or awning, not both. Since we only had w/e I usually use the camp showers, these were about 3/4 of a mile away, making them very inconvenient. There was a charge for the Wi-Fi.
Free WiFi and friendly staff while we were here over the July 4th weekend. They have a common area by the lake; can take your chair and watch the Canada Day and July 4th fireworks on the lake. A lot of sites back up to the nice lake. I would stay here again if in the area.
We had a w/e hookup which was a pullthrough. No problem getting the satellite service. The angle seemed to be lower then DirctTV said, but got a 90 percent signal. Unable to get any local TV. Not a bad view of the lake. We were in a center site, the ones backing to the lake were good views and higher cost. Whoever set up the water and electric never owned or stayed in an RV. Need at least 35' of hose and an extension for the electric. Very poor planning. Free WiFi but no cable TV.
This is a nice little campground. If full, the spaces are very close. We stayed when it was not full and had plenty of room. The owner is real friendly and helpful. We were on the top and looked out onto very nice fields.
A lot of construction leading to the campground. Call for directions; DON'T use GPS. Very nice campground - interior roads can use some work (potholes). The site we were on was sloped very badly toward the front, and we had trouble leveling. Had to lift front of rig higher than we would have liked to.
Campground is clean. The staff is a little flaky. They show you to the site, but not always to the site you are assigned. They have WIFI, but as some campgrounds look at it as a new cash cow $7.95/day. Better not to have it then try and rip you off.
Very clean campground. Spaces are large and at an angle so they are very easy to back into. WiFi is available, but it is linkspot which has a charge for it's use. Parking on on cement pads and there is a table at every site and a grass area next to the rig.
The campground is under new management and they are doing a very nice job of fixing it up 20/30/50 power at new posts at site. Right off Tampa Bay. Staff and owner are friendly and helpful. Belong to Passport America
Park in quite area. Spots are well maintained. Offers free WiFi as well as free breakfast. Owners and help are pleasent and helpful. Showers and bathroom are individual rooms and very well maintained. Very nice view of the Mountains from the sites.
