It is a clean well kept park, the spaces are narrow and level with small grassed areas. The management is friendly and helpful. The park sits between highway and railroad tracks so it's not exactly quiet. There is very little view of the Columbia. Don't take the toll bridge from Hood River it's a real white knuckle experience. It is much better to approach from the Dalles or Cascade locks.
We did not enjoy this park at all. The spaces are very tight and hard to maneuver trailers into place. Park personnel were not particularly friendly nor helpful. If you stay here you better enjoy your neighbors because they will be parked about a foot away from you. This park seemed to be mainly for fisherman and guests don't seems to care much about noise or being courteous.
It is a nice quiet clean park. It is a bit out of the way but we think that adds to the appeal. There is nice easy to access pull through sites, picnic tables and friendly hosts. We did have issues with wireless Internet, it only seems to work in the center of the park. We will visit again if we are in the area.
We have stayed in this park twice in the last month. I can't say enough about the helpful friendly service. The park went out of there way to accommodate us. The park is quiet, clean, friendly and well kept. Facilities and clean and adequate for both the ATV crowd and the RV tourist. Most of the people we spoke with are repeat customers and some have been coming on a regular basis for 15 or more years. We are definitely going to come back each year. Thanks.
