Rate reflects Passport America with Wi-Fi charges. What a hidden gem! It is at the end of a 7-mile gravel road but it is worth every mile. The owners and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The owner took us out to look at some petroglyphs close by in his ATV and to see his 9 horses. They have only owned this park a little over a year but they really know how to make people feel welcome. Will definitely come back for a longer stay.
This is an older park with narrow roads. We had to be very alert moving through this park. We arrived after a good rain and many of the sites had a lot of standing water puddles. Many of the puddles were close to the plug-in points that make plugging your RV in a little dangerous (water and electricity no match). This park needs its roads widened and sites renovated with gravels to reduce the standing water issue. Staff was friendly and accommodating. WIFI was acceptable, but would come and go at times. Would probably not stay here again.
This is an old KOA campground. They give both KOA and Good Sam discounts which is good. Our 5th is just shy of 40 feet in length and this park is fairly old which makes getting around the park a challenge. Park owners and staff were great. Good solid WIFI and power. Would probably try somewhere else next time only due to the narrowness of roads, etc.
Very nice park. With PEI being on the small side it is easy to see people from all over the island. We stayed 4 nights here in the new section overlooking the tidal bay. Beautiful view with good solid 50 amp service. The WIFI service did not reach to these new sites as yet. Staff were excellent and park had a great checking process and gate cards, etc. We would stay here again.
In my opinion this is one of the premier KOA's that we have stayed. Immediately after a site is vacated, the staff are cleaning/raking the site, emptying the fire pit etc. One of the few parks that also pick up your garbage and recycling twice per day. Staff is very friendly and always more than willing to help out. We will definitely stay here again.
Only 3km from St. Thomas. Very nice, clean park, good staff ,and well maintained. Only reason not to give full marks was no Internet and no sewers. Does have a dump station. Sites are a good size and grassy. Some are tree lined for privacy and others more open to accommodate traveling with other RV's.
We held a rally at this KOA with 27 units for a week. The owners were great, they helped with everything. Every participant was very impressed with the campground. The campground itself is located within 15 minutes of everything in the Sault. A real gem!
Office was very cluttered. Pool looked in good shape and clean. Close to Hwy 53 but not noisy. Staff was friendly. Campsites were level with grass area. Average park. They do not accept credit cards - cash only. Good for 1 night stays - I would stay here again.
