We wanted to be close to Infineon Raceway for the Girl Scouts event this August at the Indy Race. We were very disappointed with our stay. First, the people were very friendly but that was the highlight of our stay. The spaces are very small and although their website describes picture perfect views we mostly saw and heard the freeway highway 101. It was very noisy. Also, this part of a trailer park and most (over half) of the people were full timers. We have nothing against full timers but there were just too many. No park or anything at all other than a pool. At 3:00 AM we were visited by the local police looking for a suspect of which we were not them. It was very uncomfortable for us and even though we paid for two nights we did not come back after the first. We will not be back.
This is a really nice park. We spent two nights there in August of 2007. There were not that many things for kids to do and we noticed that most of the people in the park were older (meaning no kids). The showers and the restrooms were clean but there was only two showers for all these people. It was not an issue for us but they need more showers. Nice big grass areas and the sites are huge. They have their own grass area and everything was very well groomed. We will be back for sure !!!
We stayed here for one night . The people were really nice but there are a lot of full timers at the park. The river is close by but it's not river front in that you have to walk to the river and you can't really see it from any site. We felt uncomfortable in the park and the sites are really really tight and close to each other. Our RV main door was basically on top of the dump for the next site over. We did a quick one night stop and we left early. Everything else was good, but we would not stay there again.
This is a private members only club that you can gain access through ROD, if you have a home membership in the system. You can not just drive up and get into this park. With that said we loved it enough to join on our free weekend. The site is well kept up and the people are really nice. The price for us to have a lifetime membership is reasonable and not what the other posts stated. We wanted a place in Northern California that gave us beach access (5 miles nearby) and also river access (this is right on the Russian River). Great dining and coffee place within walking distance. In the end the other members made us feel really welcomed and we bought because of them. We will spend some quality time here over the years and will come to call the place our second home. Weather was great. Location is the best. AND it's quiet but fun. The kids had a blast. Looking forward to our next trip within the month.
This is the Four Season of parks. Everything was very nice. High end for sure. It's expensive but the kids and us had a great time. Right on the cliff looking over the beach. You have to walk down to the beach and it's a little bit for small children but we loved every minute we were there. We will be back for sure.
So this park has a lot of full timers that we could see. The people were nice but we tend to stay away from full time parks. They had a Christmas party and invited us and we liked everyone we met. The hosts were great. The spot we were in was muddy and it was not that kid friendly. We would not stay here again but that's because there were so many full timers living in the park.
This place is rustic but nice. We liked staying here and it has a lot of places for a family to go close by. Family oriented. The food was great at the restaurant. We have three young children and they loved it too. We will be back.
Being close to Yosemite was our first reason for staying here. Yes it's in the mountains and is somewhat dirty but overall pretty nice. The gravel sites are flat and the petting zoo was a favorite for our young children. The people were great to us and we enjoyed staying here. Again, since a lot of this is in the trees and the lots are gravel you can get some dirt in your RV but it was not a reason to dislike the place. In fact we will come back to Yosemite Pines.
