This park could use some TLC. Sites appear to have had some small gravel covering them at one time. Now they are mostly covered with grass. Roads could also use some additional rock or gravel on them. Sites are mostly level & utilities(water & electric) worked well. Wi-Fi also worked well. There is some road noise from Hwy 59. This park works for an easy in & out 1 night stay, but is overpriced for an extended stay.
We turned into the park but could not find the office. After asking a resident, we were told to go through the fence opening next to the laundry building & the office would be to the left. The manager was very friendly & took me on her golf cart to show me how I needed to go to get to my site. I had to loop through the back of the park to get turned around. I never came close to any low hanging branches that were mentioned in a previous review. Nearly all sites are shaded by huge old oak trees. Our back in site required a little leveling, but was plenty deep enough & had a nice concrete patio. The long term residents were very friendly & their sites were clean. We never experienced any train noise or road noise at night. I have never stayed in a park where all residents adhered to the 5 mph speed limit as well as they do here. All utilities & WiFI worked well. There is a very nice lake at the back of the property. We will make sure we stay longer on our next trip to this area.
We only stayed 1 night. The manager was very nice & offered us a choice of 2 different sites. We chose a pull thru that over looked the ball fields. Easy access from I-85. If you use a GPS, set the destination for the intersection of S. College St. & Lee Road 674. Turn right at this intersection (as if you were going to the Auburn Softball Complex) & then turn left & go through the parking lot to get to the RV park. Wi-Fi worked well. We were not bothered by road noise from I-85. We would definitely stay here again.
We really enjoyed our 1 week stay at this campground. Rate shown reflects weekly rate. We had a level, gravel, FHU, back in site next to Hwy. 19. There are also pull-thru sites available. Road noise was not a problem for us. This location is very convenient to Waynesville & Maggie Valley. Cable TV & Wi-Fi both worked well. The laundry contained 2 washers & 2 dryers that worked well. We really enjoyed the 2.6 mile paved walking trail around Lake Junaluska. The park was very clean & well maintained. The camp hosts were very friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Check in at main hotel check-in at the casino. Clean park with concrete pads at each site. Most sites are back-in, but roads are wide enough to maneuver easily. There are a few pull-through sites. Laundry was clean and reasonably priced. Wi-Fi worked well. We will stay again when in the area.
Beautiful setting on a farm with a barn and silos on the property. Sites are level grass with gravel underneath. Utilities worked well & bath house was clean. No cable TV, but roof antenna received all major network channels from Knoxville. Owner was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
Huge RV park with 4 separate camping areas. Each camping area has it's own comfort station with very clean bath area and laundry room. Each area also has it's own playground. At check-in, we were told we could pick any site in the park. You need to use the park map as you search for your site because the 4 camping areas separated by lots of trees & hills. They assign sites during the busy season. Not sure about all areas, but our back-in site in area 3 was a level concrete pad on a paved road. Plenty of space between sites, and good utilities. We were able to get a good Wi-Fi signal from our site (420) in area 3. No cable TV, but received plenty of channels from roof top antenna. This park has a lot of amenities available such as indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, basketball court, shuffle board, horse shoes, mini golf, and Frisbee golf. There is also a paved walking trail along the main road to the clubhouse. The park location allows easy access to Branson activities, but is also very quiet & peaceful. We will definitely return. Rate is Coast-to-Coast + $7.00 daily resort fee.
Very friendly staff at check in. We were asked how we heard about the park. I was told if I was a military veteran I could receive a discount with proof of service. They seemed to really appreciate our business. The park is very clean and has gravel roads and concrete site pads. All sites are pull-throughs . Well spaced trees shade most sites. Good cable TV,and Wi-Fi worked well. We will definitely stay again when in this area. Rate includes a military veteran discount.
Very friendly staff. This is a membership park with friendly members. Our stay was early in the season before a lot of members arrived. Member sites appear to be mostly on the north side of the ponds. The balance of the sites are on the south side of the pond, further from the laundry & bath house, but closer to the clubhouse. Roads are gravel. Our site was grass, with some gravel, that sloped to the front enough to eliminate staying hooked up overnight. There are many long term residents who work in the area. Their sites appeared to be clean and most are located together in the back area of the park. TV reception is good with the roof antenna. Wi-Fi worked well. The laundry seemed small for the number of tenants. There were only 3 washers (one did not work) and 3 dryers. Rate is Coast to Coast + $4.00 per day resort fee. Would probably stay again if in the area.
This is a nice clean and spacious campground. Most sites are pull-through and parallel to the road. We reserved our site in the A Loop on line. When we arrived, we were surprised to discover small trees so close to the site entrance and exit that it made it very difficult to pull our 34' fifth wheel on to the site without hitting the curb on the left side of the pad. Not all sites have trees this close. Restrooms were clean. Wi-Fi worked well. Good TV reception with roof antenna. Rate was $24.00 per night + $8.00 daily pass. We also paid a $10.00 reservation fee for reserving on line. We would stay here again when in the area.
Rate cited reflects a Passport America discount. Sites are laid out in a U shape around the motel and are very easy to get in and out of. Good cable TV, and the Wi-Fi worked well. This was a good overnight stopping place because the sites are long enough that we did not have to unhook. We will use this as an overnight stop again when in the area.
Rate cited is the Passport America rate. Clean park with wide level sites for easy access. Had a small electrical issue (ground fault) that created no interruption in service. Mentioned issue to owner and was told the electrician was already scheduled for the next day. We used on-board water instead of campground water. Restrooms and showers were very clean. Wi-Fi worked great. TV reception was very good using roof antenna. Hard working owners appear close to having pool operational. Prior to our departure, the owner stopped by to thank us for staying with them and invite us back. We will definitely stay again when in the area.
Can't add much to previous reviews. Great park with wonderful owners. Clean and quiet campground with concrete pads and patios. Good power, water, cable TV, and Wi-Fi. Laundry and restrooms/showers are the cleanest I have ever seen. Most evenings we observed deer grazing in the field at the back of the campground. We came for 1 week and stayed for 2 1/2 weeks. We will definitely return when in the area. Rate is based on a weekly rate.
Rate reflects a Passport America discount. Nice clean park with adequate room between spaces. Roads and sites are gravel, but not extremely dusty. There appeared to be 4 or 5 long term residents, but their sites were very clean & not cluttered at all. A new Wi-Fi system was installed during our stay. After 1 or 2 days, the system seemed to work better & was adequate for our needs. The cable TV was basic, however, after a complete channel scan (analog & digital) you will find many HD channels available. The restrooms & showers were very clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay here again when in Moab.
We have stayed here many times. We just finished a 3 month stay this year. We had to fly home for 6 days, so we informed security & they had all 3 shifts keep watch on our RV. The location is very convenient to Fremont St. & downtown area. Laundry & restrooms are very clean. Security patrols 24/7. We have always felt safe here, & we will always stay here when we are in Las Vegas.
We stayed here the first week they were open for this season. The pool was not open yet. The park was exceptionally clean, & the owners were very friendly & helpful. Most of the sites are back in with sufficient room to maneuver into the site. Our site was perfectly level side to side. The hookups were conveniently located. They also have a few pull through sites. The park is located on Highway 89, but we were not bothered by road noise at night. The location is convenient to downtown & local services. There are many over-the-air HD channels. The park WiFi worked very well. The laundry & restrooms were exceptionally clean. It is very easy to see that the owners take pride in their RV park. We will definitely return when we are in this area.
This park has a new owner/manager who is very friendly & helpful. The roads & sites are gravel. Each site is wired for 50 amp. If you have a 30 amp unit, the park will loan you a 50-30 amp adapter if you don't have one. The voltage was excellent & the Wi-Fi worked well. The bath house is very clean & contains 2 women & 2 men shower rooms. Each room also contains a lavatory & toilet. The laundry room was very clean. Most of the sites are pull-thru of sufficient length to stay hooked up to your trailer or toad. The few long term sites were very clean. The entire park appeared very neat & clean. The credit card machine was being repaired during our stay, so I paid by check. We will definitely return when in this area.
This is still a very nice & clean park since our last visit 18 months ago. We have stayed here many times over the last 7 years, however, management seems to be getting very lax. Our last visit was during a LSU football weekend. There are many LSU fans that seem to come here to tailgate & party on football weekends. The only problem is the excessive noise level of the parties, and the very loud music coming from the golf carts slowly cruising the streets until 10 pm. I would like to see management control the noise a little better. Rate is PPA rate.
We stayed here about 18 months ago. The staff is still friendly & helpful. They are continuing to upgrade the park with the addition of 4-5 more 50 amp gravel sites with concrete patios. Wi-Fi worked well. No cable TV, but get plenty of channels from antenna. Rural setting makes this a quiet & peaceful park. We will return when in this area. Price reflects Coast to Coast rate.
Secluded campground in a beautifully wooded setting. Paved road & our site was a paved pull-thru parallel to the road. It was very easy in & out. Wi-Fi signal was a little weak, but worked fine. Staff was very friendly & helpful. We only stayed one night & did not get to check out the lakes & walking trails mentioned by earlier reviewers. We will definitely return & stay longer on our next trip.
Very friendly staff. Gravel sites could be a little more level, but have seen much worse. Nice pool, clean restrooms, and clean laundry. Excellent cable TV. Did not use Wi-Fi. Will definitely stay again. Rate is Coast to Coast + resort fee.
Large level pull-through sites in the overnight section. Utilities all worked well. Did not use park Wi-Fi. Very clean park. Friendly staff. Easy access off I-10, but far enough away to eliminate road noise. Good TV reception from antenna. Will stay here again when in the area. Rate is PA.
We enjoyed our stay so much last year that we decided to stay 2 weeks this year. Same friendly staff, clean laundry, and friendly people. Antenna TV picture was better than cable picture. Did not use park Wi-Fi. Will definitely return. Rate is C2C + resort fee.
This is our 3rd year to stay here. Like the location near downtown and the price is right. Laundry and restrooms are always clean. Security patrols the park even more now than I remember in past years. I agree with the previous reviewer that the shared pedestals are unusual. I do not leave my sewer hose in the opening so that the access door can be left closed. I have been fortunate that any neighbors have always done the same thing, so we have never had any sewer odor. Still like the park and the location and will return.
Very friendly & accommodating staff. Park is very clean with paved roads & concrete pads for each site. The pads are a little narrow (ours was 11' wide), but the park escort helps guide you into the site, so no big problem for me. I had to pull my rig forward so the slide would clear the power pedestal. This did not leave me enough room to park my truck behind the rig, so I was given permission to park on the site next to me. I realize during peak season this might not be possible, but it was a very nice gesture from the park. I must disagree with the previous reviewer because I had 8' of grass to step on when leaving my rig. With the rig centered on the site, I could also walk on the concrete pad on the street side. I saw many people walking their dogs, so I assume the park is pet friendly. I requested & received 2 internet codes (for laptop & I-pad) with no problem. Although too cold to use during our stay, the pool appeared to be very nice & clean. The laundry room was also very clean. All utilities & wi-fi worked well. We also liked the security of the park. A gate code is required for entry, and there are one way tire spikes at the exit. We enjoyed the tiered hillside sites and the mountains around the park. If the sites were just a little wider, I would have rated the park a 10. We will definitely stay here again when in this area. Rate is based on a 1 week stay.
Park is neat, clean, and well maintained. All sites are gravel and mostly level. Managers are very friendly and helpful. Clubhouse is very nice with a kitchen area, pool table, and big screen TV. Pool, bathrooms, and laundry were all very clean. Cable TV works very well. Wi-Fi works well, but was a little slow at our site. Park has several park model homes occupied by snowbirds. Everyone was very friendly, and we were invited to join in the park activities. There is some distant train noise, but I believe most of the RV parks in Benson would have the same train noise. Some of the other parks are much closer to the train tracks. Rate is a PA rate. We stayed 4 nights and will definitely stay again.
Sites are 35' wide X 80' long with 3 sewer openings per site. Very easy in & out. Located behind Camping World. No cable TV, but lots of channels available with antenna. Very friendly manager. Would definitely stay here again.
Very convenient location on I-20. Some road noise from interstate, but not objectionable to us. Mostly long term residents. All sites are gravel & fairly level. Only have 7 sites with 50 amp service, so be sure to check availability prior to arrival. Wi-Fi & cable TV worked well. Restrooms & laundry were clean. Very friendly manager. Would stay here again for an overnight stop.
Very nice park with long concrete pull-through sites. All facilities are very nice & clean. Wi-Fi was very poor & nearly impossible to use. There are a couple of computers available for use in the office. TV reception is good using the RV antenna. Improved Wi-Fii & the addition of cable TV are all this park needs to rate a 10. Would definitely stay here again.
Older park with gravel roads & sites. Mostly occupied by long term residents. Some sites are a little narrow & tight to enter/exit because of trees. Very nice manager. Good power & Wi-Fi. Excellent cable TV. Would stay here again when in this area.
We stayed for 3 nights. Easy access off I-75. Long, level pull-through sites so no need to unhook if just overnight. Cable TV & wi-fi both worked very well. We were traveling with another couple & allowed to choose our sites next to each other. Clean park with a friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again. Rate reflects PPA discount.
Rural setting just off I-65. Easy access with no road noise. Small park with some permanent residents, but park is clean and well maintained. All sites are gravel pull throughs. Very clean restrooms and laundry. Excellent TV reception with antenna. Very friendly and helpful staff. Rate reflects Passport America discount. We will definitely stay here again.
We stayed for 4 days as Coast to Coast members. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The park is located 2.5 miles from I-10 and 4-5 miles from the beaches. The park is located in a rural area & is very quiet & peaceful. Some sites are covered with gravel & some sites are in grass covered areas. Not sure how the grass sites would be after a rain. We were fairly close to the clubhouse & the wi-fi worked well. As stated in a previous review, the laundry room definitely needs to be updated. Cable TV is not available, but all network channels are available using the roof antenna. We would stay again.
As previous reviewers stated, entrance is a little narrow, but not really a problem for me. Exit is also a little narrow, but it is a straight line out of the park. I have stayed here several times, and have never dragged entering or exiting the park. The pull through sites are very long. The Wi-Fi works great. Staff is very friendly. Clubhouse, restrooms, and laundry are exceptionally clean. Rate reflects PA discount. Will definitely stay again.
Excellent RV sites are long & level. Very nice clubhouse, laundry room, & restrooms. Weekdays are nice because most sites are unoccupied. On weekends, the occupancy rate increases dramatically. An excellent value on PA rate of $8.50 for weekdays. One of our favorite parks, will definitely stay again.
This is a wonderful campground. The owners and staff are extremely nice & helpful. They truly want you to enjoy your stay. The office has a neat little ice cream bar inside. This would be a great place for a family reunion or rally. They have several small cabins for rent. There is a nice pool & hot tub, rec. room, laundry, & gathering/meeting rooms. All restrooms are set up individually with each containing a shower, lavatory, & toilet. There are 4 restroom buildings in the park. The free wi-fi works very well. There is no cable, and TV reception from an antenna requires aiming your antenna accurately. Rate reflects Passport America discount. We will definitely return.
We have used this park for an overnight stop several times. The sites are long enough for us to stay hooked up to our 34' fifth wheel. The park has cable TV with 60+ channels. We have always had a good Wi-Fi signal in sites close to the office. Staff is very friendly. Rate reflects Good Sam discount.
We spent one night in a pull through site. Site was not quite long enough for us to stay hooked up to our 34' fifth wheel, but had enough room to park beside our camper. This is an older park, but it is very clean. Managers were very friendly and helpful. Park is very convenient to I-10. We would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for 4 days on Coast to Coast at the Good Neighbor rate. Staff is very nice and the facilities are all clean. As a previous reviewer stated, the hook ups are at the back of the site, so you do need plenty of water and sewer hose. We got a much better TV picture using our antenna instead of the cable. Our site had a nice view of the Colorado River and the casinos in Laughlin. We will definitely stay here again.
We spent 2 weeks in this park in a pull-through site. There is some road noise from the nearby overhead freeway and you do hear sirens as the fire trucks leave the fire station across the street. We have always used a fan at night to drown out noises from outside. During our 2 week stay, we were never disturbed at night by noise. The restrooms and laundry were both clean. We got good TV reception with our antenna. We were able to get a good Wi-Fi signal from the fire station by using our wireless signal booster. We love the convenience of this park to the downtown area and will be back again.
Nice, clean, small MH park with a dedicated RV area in the center. Level gravel sites are easy in and out. Excellent clubhouse with clean restrooms, laundry, and rec. room. Excellent Wi-Fi. No cable TV, but got a good HD picture with antenna. New owner took over in July, 2011 and is extremely nice and helpful. This is our second stay and will definitely stay again.
