Found this in the Good Sam's guide today and it was rated an 8. When we pulled in it was a well shaded, grassy lot with some hookups. Lots of old junk vehicles and small campers that appeared to be full time residents. Office was not open but a nice lady walked up and said she would not rent to us because she didn't have 50 amp and they had problems with the electrical hookups. I was really happy because I would have been afraid to spend the night there. We have traveled extensively and this is by far the worst campground we've ever stopped at. I don't know how Good Sam rates their parks but I don't have too much confidence after today.
We have been coming to Roamer's for several years. Every year we see new improvements. Many new sites have been added and all sites have fire rings and picnic tables. Our site was shaded by large trees but they did not hinder our slide or awning. Site was big enough for us to park our 30' motorhome and not have to unhook the tow dolly. Still plenty of room to park on site. WiFi was good and no problems with electric as note in a previous reviews. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the grounds are well maintained. We like Roamers because it is quiet and conveniently located to all local attractions. If you're lucky you'll get a visit from local Amish children selling whoopee pies and other homemade goodies. We will be coming back again very soon. Nightly rate stated was based on Passport America.
