One of the better campgrounds anywhere. Clean, well kept and plenty of room between spaces. Great lodge with indoor pool and patios. The only down side would be that it is close to the airport, but that is not that big of a deal as its mostly small planes. We will stay here again.
As stated before, this is an nice place. Plenty of shade but no grass. Sites are gravel and the roads are dirt. Sites are not level and this place is on a hill. Staff is nice, as are the facilities and the pool. They cook breakfast every morning. Cost $2.50. Pancakes, eggs, potato's. And a blessing, 'NO TV' Time to talk and play family games. Good place to overnight, but the Rapid City area is nicer and has better things to do.
The camp is old, but adequate. The spaces are well shaded, but close. There are lots of class A's in here, so it can be done. As stated before, this camp is showing its age, but it will do. Location is good with it being right across the road from Reptile Gardens, close to Rapid City and just 20 miles from Rushmore. We spent three nights here.
This is one of our favorite parks. We have camped here for the first week of August for the past 10 years. The staff is friendly and helpful, the facilities are good, but not great. The sites are a little cramped, but they keep the park clean and green with lots of shade trees. Wild blackberries grow all around the park and are free for the picking. Cannon Beach is a great little town with lots of things to do. This is an excellent place to stay.
Nice campground. Dirt/gravel pads, but they are level. Good space between sites with grass and trees. Full hookup only $30.00 with discounts available. Grocery store (Wal-Mart) restaurants and gas are all close as is the Cabelas main store. Nice place to overnight. We would stay here again.
Very nice park. Lots a green grass, space to relax and very level pads. This is a great park for families with lots of things for the kids to do. This is our second visit in two years and we would stay here again. Only down side is the number of showers. What they have are nice, but just not enough to keep the lines short.
Its what you would expect from Laramie Wyoming. Windy, no shade, dirt/gravel spaces and lots of noise from the semis on the interstate and the truck stops. The sites are also very close together. The staff was nice and the facilities were clean. Laundry was expensive at $2.50 to wash or dry a load. Since its the only camp in town, there are no other choices. KOA could do better.
