Easy access to campground from highway. Huge leash-free pet yard. Kid friendly - playground, min golf, pool, volleyball net, large grassy area for running or soccer. Quiet and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
Nice park. Tree made it difficult to pull into site with our 40 foot rig. Narrow curvy park roads and vehicles with only available parking very close to those roads were very scary. Pet area was in a forest. We worried about poison oak or ivy.
Entry from I-71 is very long (5.5 miles) and narrow and has NO shoulder. Turn onto road park is actually on is about 240 degrees. We did not make it without unhooking tow, backing up for a second try, and blocking traffic both ways. It was a nightmare in our 40 foot rig. We were told at the office the entry from I-75 is easier. Only .5 mile and the turn we failed to negotiate is not necessary. We followed the directions in Trailer Life and Exit Now. We will not be back in any case.
This is a gravel parking lot with utilities sticking up. There are no site markings, so park close to utilities and hope your neighbor can maneuver into next site. They are extremely tight sites. It is very noisy and next to major street. We do not plan to stop there again. Cable is advertised. The neighbor had only connection in use. The host gave my husband a splitter and told him to hook it up himself-unhook neighbor, hook up splitter, hook up both sites. The Host also said to be sure to return splitter.
