Very popular place, extremely full! Many full-timers. Paved roads. Sites are gravel and level. Most are back-in with a parking spot. Well kept by active maintenance crew. They also have a propane filling station. There is a pool, but we did not go in. Laundry facilities were clean. They have a fenced dog park and an open lot to run the dogs. They offer a WiFi package that we did not purchase. Easy access to Frisco/Plano, near the Dallas tollway. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have mail boxes if you are there longer. Quiet site.
Great location. Nice park, paved streets and pads. Pull-through fit our 44' 5th wheel just fine with room for the pick-up. Hiking trail around. Fire pit by bathhouse. Great host couples! Very friendly and helpful. Half-an-hour from Tombstone. There are tours available for the caves, but we did not have time, looking forward to returning! Quiet spot. Dog friendly, but not a area to let them run.
Open lot next to abandoned horse race track. Roads are paved. Sites are level and gravel. Easy back-in site for our 44' 5th-wheel. Quiet and out of town a bit. At the edge of the mountains heading toward Jerome, 20 minutes to mid-town Prescott. WiFi package to purchase $13 for a week, worked great. Wonderful host couple, very helpful and kind. Some full-timers. Large open lot to run the dogs. Site was very roomy.
Check-in at Main Street Station Casino front desk. Located under a free-way overpass, but surprisingly quiet. Just a paved lot. Sites are very tight. Our 44' RV just barely made it once the slide-outs were out, and not much room for the pick-up. Security drives thru 24-7 which is nice. We were able to walk to Freemont with no concerns. Pet area is an extremely small fenced area located under a different overpass that is not very close. We were able to run the dogs in an abandoned fenced in parking lot near the dog area. The fire station is located directly across the street and it is active. No Wi-Fi
Not stated as a 55+, but that is a majority of the people. Many full-timers. Located behind McDonalds & CVS...In town. We stayed there because it was close to my mother-in-laws for Thanksgiving. Site was level. Road ways are gravel. Laundry facility was fine, but a bit dated. There is a pool, but we did not use it. There were several functions offered during the week at the activity hall. Small fenced dog area, but there is an open area next to it that we could run the dogs. Staff was indifferent. There is a Wi-Fi 'package' that we did not purchase. Cable worked fine. During the evening a gentleman sits at the entry to control who comes in. Some pads had concrete. Our site was very snug for our 44' RV and we had to back-in. Stayed for a week, but not apt to stay again.
Great place! There are privacy fences every two spots. Pads are level, clean, and easy access. The laundry was clean with ample washers & dryers. There is a hot tub, but we did not go in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Garbage was picked up daily in front of our camper. There is an awesome dog run area that has motion lights! Lots of room to run. Close to city, but you don't feel like your in the city. We stayed 3 nights and will certainly return!
On the other side of the mountain from Albuquerque, so it is about 10 degrees cooler. Rough road getting into the park. Site was big enough for our 44' RV to pull thru. There was a tent/cabin area that we were able to run the dogs. Host couple was very friendly and helpful. It snowed when we were there, so we only stayed one night because there was a bigger storm coming. We almost did not make it out of the park, not the park's fault just something to be aware of. Grocery store near. Wish we would have been there at a warmer time to check out all the trails around the area...great hiking opportunities. There were several campers that appeared to be workers. The grounds were not well kept...dog poo everywhere.
We had the park to ourselves, off-season. Rangers were very friendly and helpful. The water spigot did not work and they were promptly there to fix it. Sites are nice with smaller trees around. There is a hiking trail to see the lake. We had to back in to our spot which was a bit tight for our 44' RV. Ample room to park the pick-up. There are fire rings and picnic tables at each spot. Would certainly return and stay longer to enjoy the rest of the park.
Good location in the city, but easy to miss the turn. Lots of trees. Several extended stay campers. Staff was very particular about the care of the grounds. They were constantly cleaning and it shows. While we were there they were doing construction on the mini golf and pool area. There are two larger areas for dogs to be on a leash. We found a walking trail that lead to a wide open area to run. That lead to a path around the water. Office staff were mostly friendly and helpful. Site size is OK. Our 44' RV fit in a pull-thru, but did not leave much room to park the pick-up. There is not much space between neighbors, either. For being in the middle of town, it was surprisingly quiet. Stayed for 3 weeks.
The campground is behind the hotel. The road in is a bit snug for our 44' RV, but there are pull-thru lots. We were the only people there, but there were several campers parked at other sites. Not much for trees or shade. There is a Railroad track directly behind the park. Small area for tents where we ran the dogs. There was garbage and left over junk laying around. The grounds are not well maintained. Grocery store down the street. We were passing thru and it was just fine, but would not want to stay longer than one night.
Lots of trees. They scraped the top and the spot was tight for our 44' RV with not much room left for parking the pick-up. Seemed like a lot of workers lived there. Quiet at night. There is an area that they store campers and this was a good area to run the dogs. Staff was helpful and friendly.
