We have stayed here during winter months due to the amenities, friendly staff, and activities. It is close to all the action, but far enough away to not get caught in the San Antonio traffic. We will normally do business in New Braunfels which is right up the road with no hassles. Recommended highly for short stay or long. Wi-Fi has been upgraded and cable works fine. We enjoyed our time there and the office staff are exceptional.
The nightly rate reflects a monthly rate without electricity which is separately billed. We stopped here on our way through from Corpus Christi and stayed for two months. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Restrooms and laundry were very clean and well maintained. Quiet, but with easy access to San Antonio and New Braunfels. Even though the sites slant a bit to the left, leveling is not much of a problem. We really liked that there was shade available. The picnic table area is covered and is on a concrete slab. The pool is taken care of daily and is a real plus. The club house is also great but is only open on weekends. We will stay here again and probably make it our destination in the future.
Staff/owner of this park lets you know you are very important and they are glad you are staying with them. Easy to get around in, even though I had a 40 footer. Sites were clean and well maintained. Water was strong and hookups were easy. Quiet with easy access to shopping, fuel and I-20. We enjoyed our neighbors and will make it a point to stay here on our way back.
This Park will do for an overnight stay if absolutely needed, but that is all. Prices are way out of line so bring your wallet, and the managers/owners are not available in the office. You will be charged daily for their Wi-Fi at almost five dollars per night. Website states cable TV, not so. Staff, when available were pleasant. Lots of permanent residents and temporary long term workers. The impression I got was, take it or leave it, as we are the only game in town: not so. This Park is miles away from anything except fuel and a fast food restaurant. I understood the RV Park on the east side, formerly Shiloh, was under new management so checked it out, and was pleasantly surprised. I will write a review on that park separately. I would not stay at Pavilion RV Park again unless broke down, and must say I was disappointed to say the least. I call them as I see them.
This campground was first class. Paved throughout. Good and friendly staff and felt secure as it is gated with a fence. Everything you could ask for in a RV camp. Easy access, easy out, reasonable rates. Showers and restrooms, excellent. I give this place the highest rating. Will make it a point to stay again.
Fairly new to the full time RV game but have stayed at RV camps I would not go back to. Feel very fortunate to have come across this RV camp and the pictures on the website do not do it justice. ALL pull through sites with level cement landing, cable, Wi-Fi, sparkling clean restrooms, laundry and showers which are cleaned everyday. Staff is great: all of them. Extra's provided with entertainment, security, morning coffee/donuts twice a week, pancakes, etc., and very reasonable rates. This RV camp deserves the highest rating. No, I am not related and I call them as I see them.
