This park was convenient for us and the staff was helpful. The sites are small, no picnic tables but sufficient. It was pouring when we arrived so we sat in the street until the rain let up and we could back into a site. They re-graded the road the very next day. The laundry and bath are not real modern but very clean. The staff was in cleaning every day. They even sanitized the washers regularly. This campground has limitations, but the staff is working hard to upgrade and keep it in good condition.
This park is convenient but right on the highway. There is only one way into the campground from the west since the highway has been "improved". You can not enter from the east so care should be taken to make sure you are going the right way to find the campground. No restrooms. Sites are small but the campground is clean.
I would give it a 10 except that they were cutting trees so some big rigs could fit their slides in sites. I find this inconceivable since trees are at a premium in this area of the country. They had a nice continental breakfast for travelers in their community room. Good location.
Very nice park, deep in canyon. Be prepared for a curvy drive into the canyon. The Rangers will stop traffic at the top so you can make the turns coming out. Not meant for large RV's. Very interesting.
Good reasonable laundry facility. Mostly sunny spots on gravel road except at the far end, which are good and away from the traffic. Close to shopping and historic sites. There was someone working on the park, but still could use more work. It was fine and convenient.
This park advertises lots of facilities but most were not useable for campers. There is constant traffic on the gravel road on both sides of most of the sites that one night people are assigned. It causes dust to cover short term rigs. Along the exterior of the park are long term sites in some shade, but many are in need of upkeep. Trains run by periodically. Wi-Fi works well but no cable for the $$ charged. No one answers the phone regularly and the office has some closed hours in the middle of the day. This could be a great park, but it is not at this time. Good location. If you have Passport America they get fair price, not the regular price. Did not see owners on site.
This park is clean, shaded pretty well, sites mostly level, clean new bathrooms, quiet though somewhat close together. We paid $24 for senior rate (reg. rate is $30) PLUS $5.00 parking, so that is $29. ALL sites pay parking. The cable did not work and we were told we could move, however it was early evening, after a 300 mile drive, all set up getting dinner started and leaving early the next morning, that was not an option. We would have enjoyed seeing the news and relaxing with favorite shows. Also, with no sewer we thought it was a bit pricy. They did come out to fix it but were unable to. They basically said too bad. No refund or credit. As we travel a great deal, this was an unusual situation for us. We rarely have a problem. We are pretty easily satisfied. Not this time.
