What a dump!! Sites are very close together, some permanent folks units are so old and dilapidated they are held together with ratchet straps and duct tape... No lie!! Interior roads are dusty and rutted. No dogs are allowed within the park. The back pull through sites are next to a storage lot that contains some units that came over on the Mayflower. Oh, the rates are much too high for what you get as well. Only positive was that the sites were fairly level.
Very nice little RV park, great Wi-Fi and cable. Spotless laundry room and washrooms, even have a hair dryer in the washroom! New owners were very friendly and helpful. A wonderful off leash area for the dogs to play or take a dip in the water! Would definitely stay here again. Sites are gravel with a concrete pad, seems like all new services. Sites were level.
I would give this park a higher rating, however the internet is horrible!!! Could only access it through the office and every once in awhile in our rig. Sites are well spaced and concrete, hookups were good. Huge dog off leash area in the middle of the park, but watch out when it rains as the banks are slopped and water pools up very quickly in there. Also, the ground cover on the sites was not grass, it was like a mulch and wild shrub and didn't look too appealing.
This is a lovely little park with very friendly owners. We stayed here 2 nights and although close to Hwy 101 we didn't hear any road noise. We stayed in site 25 which was very adequate for our 38 ft 5th wheel. Some sites are very tight and the park was obviously developed before the bigger rigs with lots of slides, but overall it is a wonderful place for a night or two. When we arrived we were shown to our site by the owner, and he told us to take our time, set up and come by the office when we were available. We even got a lovely Thank You basket with an assortment of salt water taffy, popcorn, playing cards, tea etc. and various pamphlets on local area attractions. Overall, a great place to stay and would recommend it!
