We have been here for a visit the past 3 yrs and each year we notice a lack of interest by mgmt to update and keep clean. Some seasonal residents have turned areas into tacky town and the restrooms and showers are terrible.Cobwebs, bugs(live and dead),dirt and rusty looking fixtures are the scene in restrooms and bathhouse. I for one would not use it. On the brighter side the owner is friendly, keeps a natural setting, good spacing between sites, a great place for kids to spend a day camping and its basically quiet
Relatively new park just off the highway with big open sites, friendly and helpful staff, and great fishing just down the road. Night traffic very light after dark, beautiful sunsets over Mexico. Very nice place to stop for a few days and enjoy desert country.
We have been to this park for the past three years and can'y say enough about it.The staff are friendly and helpful, the sites are large, the view is terrific and the hot tub is great. We will return again and again
I have been on the road full time for three years. Having read the previous reviews on Lazy K I was most careful in reading his Rules and Regulations. We wanted to stay a week but were cautious. The owner’s rules are emphatic; they are most strict. Violation results in rejection without recourse to advanced payment. When his staff could not answer a question the owner was summoned and entered the office like a bull in a china shop, standing with hands on hip, prepared to do battle saying in loud voice “Just what is the problem here?” I caution all to understand the owners' rules because if you so much as use a container of water to remove bugs from wind shield - eviction. After all, he has to pay 29 cents a gallon for that water. I feel the owner lacks people skills. We departed quickly after meeting the owner.
