Due to timing, circumstances and communication, we were not pleased with our stay here. We arrived late and we were assigned one of the older cabins. Needing internet service to plan our next days' activities, but we were unable to obtain it even after trying multiple computers and trying a computer next to the office. We learned that internet service was on the opposite side of the campground. We also take the view that we paid for a service that wasn't provided to us. After staying in 5 other KOA cabins during this trip, this was the most disappointing. It needed maintenance along with items in the restrooms. We discussed our displeasure with management but they said there was a 2 night minimum stay so they chose not to allow us to leave after one night without charging us. I will give credit to management for allowing us to move to a different cabin for the second night. However, we would not stay here again.
We stayed here in a cabin for only one night. I would not have wanted to stay here in our tent trailer because there wasn't much shade and it was very hot. The cabin was clean but a little cramped for 4 people. The staff upon check in was very friendly. Our one complaint was the shower house was very hot, there was no air circulating at all so it was very uncomfortable after showering. It seems they would have provided some portable fans to help with air movement. I propped open the doors a couple of times.
We stayed here one night in a deluxe camping cabin. It was very nice with bunk beds in a separate area from the main bed, a television and a shower. It also had a microwave and refrigerator. It was just as good as some hotel rooms and a nicer environment! The staff was very accommodating of a late arrival. We would stay here again if the opportunity arose.
We have stayed at this campground several times in the past and that is why we continue to return. Usually we are in a tent camper but this time we stayed in a cabin. It was clean and very comfortable. However, I would recommend that a visitor reserve the larger, 2 bedroom cabins if available because the standard cabin was a bit cramped for 4 people. We will certainly return.
This was a wonderful oasis near a city. It was shaded, gated, and we were unable to hear any traffic or city noises. The only noise was a group of teenagers that were gathering late at night. We saw management speak with them about noise multiple times so they were trying. We stayed in a cabin which was very clean and roomy. The air conditioner was awesome! We only stayed here one night so we did not take advantage of the facilities. The staff was very informative and kind upon check in. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity allowed.
We stayed here 2 nights in a tent trailer. The bathrooms/showers were large, very clean and the best we have ever seen. The elk in the campground made the memories. Drawbacks: our site was muddy when it rained, it was expensive (they charge for pets), the fishing pond license was expensive. Also, with a sick son we had to depart early and forms/signs make it very clear that refunds for early departures are not provided. We would stay here again.
We stayed here 3 nights in a tent trailer. We were hooked up to the water system and it was bad tasting water. The freeway and train noise were bothersome rising up from below the campground. The women's shower was on a short timer and left this user in the shower in the dark twice. The men's bathroom was missing doors on the stalls and on our third night there the outside bathroom door was missing. The situation prohibited us from letting an 11 year old shower on his own. This was brought to the attention at the front desk but was quickly dismissed. We would not stay here again unless we were desperate.
