We just returned from a 6 night stay at Tremont. The location of the campground is awesome being close to Cades Cove and directly on the creek. It was fun just to sit on the wooden deck and watch people tubing down the river. The Wi-Fi does not work in the campground and cell phone service is not available unless you drive 1/2 down the road; however, the campground does offer courtesy phones. The pool was clean and nice. The store closes early every day which was a bit of an inconvenience. The management is not visible within the park and does not offer any kind of newsletter or updates. For example, a local church offered activities at the pavilion but we were not told anything at check-in and just happened upon it while walking. While we visited, there was a terrible storm with 70 mph winds that knocked out the power for up to 2 days and the pool was down for 24 hours. Management refused any kind of refund and/or come check on their guests. My family and I have camped for years and were very surprised by their lack of involvement. We had site A38 which was very spacious for that area. Very poor water pressure as well. The creek location would be the only reason we would return to this campground.

We found this park to be extremely clean and well organized. The park is basically a long road with 25 sites on each side. The river sites are for class A motorhomes only and offer a larger concrete pad. We have a fifth wheel so we were on the lot across from the river sites. (lot #48) The lot is very level and easy to back in to (no pull through sites). The sites are fairly wide and offer some privacy due to low bushes. The area was very quite and everyone was very nice. There is a great sidewalk for walking your pet and nice amenities for the children (pool, playground). Overall, this is a great park and we would camp here again.

Wow! This is a great state park! The sites were level, clean, and very private. Each loop had dumpsters and doggie bags which was very convenient and helped keep the park clean. They clean the restrooms every morning from 9a-10a so they were always well taken care of. The beach is about a 1/4 mile walk but offers a wonderful path that is concrete with a boardwalk. The park is right in the middle of Destin so there is easy access to restaurants and shopping. We will definitely visit here again!

We stayed in this park for one night. We used a site at the front of the park for easy access and so that we did not have to unhook. It was a pull thru site which was very convenient. The sites were not very private and the newer area did not offer any shade. The amenities were great.

We have camped here 2 times, and it is by far one one of the best campgrounds! Of course: it is Disney so it is expected to be a bit more expensive than a state park or private owned. With that being said, I have found some beach side campgrounds at the same price with 1/2 of the amenities. We have stayed in loops 800 & 900. Both are great! The sites are private and shaded. The bathrooms are extremely cleaned and there are numerous washers & dryers at each station (each loop has their own station). The Disney buses take you everywhere so you never have to worry about transportation. There can be a 20 minute wait; however, if you have ever driven in Orlando you will know that you can't get anywhere from Disney without a 20-30 minute ride. Our kids loved the bus transportation. I would highly recommend a golf cart: especially with kids due to the walking and size of the park. You can watch the nightly fireworks from the Magic Kingdom from the beach at the campground which is awesome! You can stay as busy as you would like or just site back and relax. The pool area is wonderful with activities throughout the day. Nightly campfire show and movie. For extra $ you can learn archery, horseback riding, etc. We go the first few weeks of May and it is desolate during the week. Magical experience!

We are giving this park a 10 for friendly service and easy access from I-75. We called and reserved a site on our way to Disney World. The gentleman gave us a pull through site so that we wouldn't have to unhook. The paperwork was left taped to the front door when we arrived at 11pm. The location was .2 miles off of I-75. Easy to pull in and pull out. We never used the bathroom facilities so we cannot comment on those. Great overnight stay!

This was one of the best campgrounds due to the amenities and family atmosphere. This is not a big campground and you must have a bathroom since there are not any bathhouses. The campground was an addition to the resort. The resort is a lake front neighborhood and the campground sits behind the houses on a hill overlooking the lake. The volleyball court, tennis court, workout room, and outdoor movies are all located in the camping area. There are sidewalks leading down to the resort where there are 2 swimming pools and the lake access. They rent boats and Sea- Doos in the resort. They offer canoes and paddle boats for free and a 100 ft slide that shoots you into the lake. They also have a large trampoline in the lake. You have to wear your armband that you receive when you check in to ensure that only guests are in the resort. They monitor the resort routinely and are very helpful.

If you have kids, this is the campground for you. There is constant entertainment and activities for the kids. We stayed in a stream side site which was level and clean. The management is extremely nice and helpful. They helped us back into our site from the minute we pulled into the campground. The campground, playground, and pool area are very nice and clean. The sites are somewhat close but have enough room to set up awning, slides, and table. The only negative with this campground is that it is 20 minutes from Gatlinburg so it is not very convenient if you plan to sightsee.

I have mixed feelings about this campground. The sites were very difficult to manage. We have a 30 ft travel trailer and it was very difficult to maneuver in and out of the sites. Several other guests mentioned this as well. The bathrooms are extremely nice and clean. The pool and playground area are well maintained. The sites are very close as the sewer connections from your neighbor will be beside your sitting area. We were unable to put up the awning because the sites were so close. Very convenient to town.
