This is a nice park with great owners!! All this place needs is better WiFi, and a pool. Other than that, this is a great park at a great location. The WiFi signal is bad, one has to sit at the office. Good luck getting a satellite signal, as there's too many trees. I hated the sticky things that are all over the ground: makes everything sticky and it stained my floors yellow. Other then that, has a wonderful view of the mountains!!!
We stayed here with our Camp Club USA membership. This park was so great! We had an ocean front site with a shaded picnic shelter. We stayed here 3 days and did not want to leave! The indoor pool/hot tub was great, the lazy river and pool was wonderful. I can't wait to go back again! We rented a golf cart and had a blast!
The cabin was nice and clean but the beds were horrible!! Nothing like sleeping on a 2-inch foam, so called mattress. There was no AC. We loved how close we were to the park! The next time I'm taking my 5th wheel, as it's not worth the $112.00+ a night cabin price! Maybe next time, if I have to do it, I'll buy an air mattress! The family rented RV sites and they were nice and level. Our 40 ft 5th wheel would have fit with no problems, but we didn't know that. This park rocks (other then the crappy cabins.)
We were here while working. We couldn't find another RV park within 40 miles, that had full-hookups! This nice man made a few just for us to use while working in the area! It's nothing special, just a field to park your RV. It's actually a mobile home park. We were just glad to have a place to park our RV. It was safe and cheap! All the roads leading to it are like a washboard and sandy. But other than that, it's not far from the job site or town. Can't be picky when coming to Douglas.
The park was nasty! I got sick and I'm not sure if it was from the smell of the mold in the area or what! The owners are very strange. We stayed here as a group and they chased a few of our group members away. I will never come back to this mold infestation again.
