This is a great place to spend one night or a full season. The park personnel are very obliging and go out of their way to help with all needs. They are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. We stayed here in a class B PW Van and they put us close to bath house. We will return to this campground in the future. This is a super place to view space shuttle lift off and landing. One suggestion, call ahead for reservations.
This is a top quality RV Resort with just about all you need. Very nice continental breakfast each morning. Bath house was very clean, now you ask why a rating of 8? DO NOT make advance reservations in advance as they will put you in the sites far away from activity center and showers. We were in a Class B motorhome and asked to be moved in a site closer to showers and restroom and were told it would cost another $10.00 per night. With 113 sites they had 65% vacant on a holiday weekend, does this tell you something?
This is the second time we have stayed in this park and would do so again. Very small well kept RV park with a very friendly owner/manager. I know that a 10 is a high score for a non 5-star TV park, but this is just a very clean park. You should call and make reservations as park has only 15 sites.
Immaculate small park, but very noisy as park is on US 89A with truck traffic all might. Owners are not consumer friendly. If you ask to re-locate because of noise they will ask you to leave if you do not like the location you are assigned. Not satellite friendly, Too many trees that are not trimmed. Park is very clean and sites are graveled and level. Would look for another park if back in town.
This is a very quite laid back campground. The sites are somewhat short and if you park on river front, you may need extra length of electrical cord and water hose. The grounds are well manicured with gravel sites that are somewhat level. They have three ponds that are stocked with Rainbow Trout. You can fish without a fishing license, but you are not told that you must pay .50 cents an inch for the fish you catch. All you are told is that they will be glad clean your fish for .50 cents an inch. Another area of concern is the credit card system they use was outlawed over two years ago, the old system being used prints the credit card name (Visa or Discover) and the complete account number. I have a problem with this as today people will use this information to rip you off. No cel service with T-Mobile
This is a small well kept park. Easy in and out and very close to all major attractions. The owners are trying to sell the park after five years of ownership. Some noise from main road and if you like trains then you will love this park. Owners are local people so you can get good information about where to go and what to see. I would stay here again even though a bit pricey.
Very quiet park convenient to town and any thing you may need. Employees were very helpful and cordial. Sites are level and gravel. Good water pressure. Good destination park as there's so much to do and see in Great Falls.
Owners are very nice and helpful. Park is very close to interstate and you will get some truck noise until 10:00 PM and then there is not much traffic on interstate. Sites are very level and water pressure is good and taste very good. Open April 15 to October 15 and then owners go to AZ for winter. I will be coming back and stay in this park.
Friendly staff with information about the area. Easy on and off I-80. Gravel pull through sites that for the most part are level. Downside: A bit noisy with Harley Davinson store next door. I-80 traffic noise all day and night. A bit over priced as you can stay in Buffalo Bill's Home area campground for only $11.00 a day plus $4.00 day State Park Permit. Total $15.00 for quiet park with fishing on Platte River.
This is an old Corp of Engineers campground turned over to the city. The city of Osceola does not have the funds to keep the park in good condition. Site are grass and very unlevel. Trees need to be trimmed so you can pull through without scratching your rig. This is a water front campground on Truman Lake.
