Rate reflects Good Sam and cash discount. We have stayed here before and used this park again as our base for Glacier NP. Staff was extremely friendly, site was shaded and fairly level. Bathroom/showers by the office have been re-done and are some of the nicest we have seen. We drove through several other parks in the area and from the ones we saw, Mountain Meadows was the nicest. We will stay here again.
The easiest way to put this, the park was really rundown. With a little effort, elbow grease and money, this could be a nice park again. We were in the full hook-up section - sites were not mowed, almost all the picnic tables were damaged to some extent, bathrooms were dirty with tiles falling off the walls, sites are not well defined, park at your will. Wi-Fi was only available at the office. We had read the past poor reviews, but stayed here due to the close proximity to Mt. Rainier NP.
This is a very nice secluded campground covered in trees and ferns. Our site was a challenge to back into but the camp host helps. Very friendly and quiet. Good water and power, Wi-Fi can be spotty but met our needs in checking e-mails. No TV, which I also like. One of our favorite spots and we will stay here again.
This was our first stay here and was pleasantly surprised. This was our base camp to visit Crater Lake and the surrounding area. The staff was friendly and great. With a little maneuvering our site was level. Wi-Fi was spotty but enough for us to check our e-mail. Large trees everywhere. Even through the campground does not have laundry facilities, across the highway in Prospect is laundry, fuel and groceries. Make sure you stop once a Becky's Diner down the road, great breakfast and friendly staff.
This was our base camp during our visit to Sequoia National Park. Some sites are really close together but we had one with more space. Our pull through site was fairly level. The park is nice along with the owners. Wi-Fi work excellent. No laundry facilities on site. We would stay here again.
We spent 3 nights here during the 4th of July weekend while we visited Lassen Volcanic NP. This was a jewel. The campground was clean, site was level, and the owners/staff were outstanding. The cookout and breakfast served for the holiday was excellent and enjoyable. This is our 7th stop during this summer's vacation and so far is our favorite stop.
This may have been a nice park in it's day, but you can see a lack of upkeep around the park and a lot of disrepair. The front/pool area was nice, but that stopped when you got to the sites. Our site was level but narrow. They state 14 cable channels but we were only able to get 4 which were poor/snowy. Went up to the shower/restroom area by our site. The easiest way to put it was nasty. Dumpsters around the park were overflowing the day we arrived. Fine for a stop over night, but we would not stay here again for an extended period of time.
Very nice park, the staff was friendly during check-in. Our site was a pull-thru gravel, level with plenty of space between sites. Well maintained. There is some road noise at night. We would stay here again.
A very comfortable park. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. Pull through was long (didn't need to un-hook with plenty of extra space) and level. Our site was more towards the back of the park, so we did not notice any road noise. Had Wi-Fi and cable which we didn't use since it was late when we arrived. Would stop again.
This is our second visit to Bauer's. It is located close enough to Zion National Park. The campground is small, quiet and relaxing. Staff is extremely friendly. Nice shower and laundry facility. Sites are not perfectly level, but not a problem. Wi-Fi works well. We will be back in the future.
Made our reservations 4 months in advance for a 1 week stay. Got the only site with no real view except the highway and a used trailer. West side is completely exposed with no shade. Lots are close together and not level with blowing dust. Trailer next to us had to move our picnic table next to our trailer so they could get their slide out. They say they have fire pits, but they are just a few rocks piled in a somewhat circle by the road. WiFi is poor to say the least. Maybe a stay for a few days would be OK, but this park is definitely on our list of campgrounds not to stay at again.
This was our first stay at Yellowstone Holiday RV. From our first contact with them back in March, they were extremely helpful. Our total stay was 17 days and for the entire time the staff was always friendly. The site was great with a fantastic view. It has a moderate distance from the west Yellowstone entrance, but the quiet non-rushed atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. We plan on returning again next year.
We stayed one night. It was very quiet and you get great views out of the back of your RV no matter which spot you get. Wi-Fi worked. It is down a mile long dirt road but don't let that put you off, it was well maintained. It is an excellent park to stay in while visiting the San Antonio area (safer than staying in the city), about 10 minutes from downtown and an RV friendly gas station just a couple of mile away (at the exit off I-35).
