This is not your typical quiet campground. The rules are very relaxed. They allow non campers and locals to use the facility with the exception of the campground guest pool. They allow dogs and the dogs are also allowed to swim in the natural spring area. Many activities: Canoeing, natural spring, 30 foot water slides ($ 1 - 15 for all day), kids play areas, zip line($ 5- 15 all day), guest only heated pool, tiki bar Think of this place as a Spring type atmosphere with heavy drinking on weekends and holidays. Throughout the week I would think its more quiet. The campground is rather large with 850 sites, so its a great place to book at last minute or if the nearby state parks are booked. AT&T 4g service was great, we streamed Netflix without any issues. We stayed at site 743 which was not the best because of the non shade and the one palm tree right in front of the site that blocked the view and provided no shade. The water was turned off twice on two different days because of an issue. The electric tripped the breaker once throughout our stay. The last day of our visit we had no problems with electric or water. We had a great time and planning to go back again. The staff is helpful and friendly. However, do to the heavy drinking use common sense to avoid problems and stay away from areas where obvious binge drinking is going on. Most of the rowdy crowd from what we saw stays near the DJ and loud music at the main entrance to the natural spring. At the campsite their shouldn't be to much of a commotion. Some campers played their music throughout the day but at night after 9pm it was pretty much quite. I think the non quest have to leave at 7pm.

Typically we stay away from private parks because of the tight spots and over charges. However, this place is like a state park with state park prices. We camped on site 12. It was paved with bricks and well shaded. They only have 50 amp hookups but you can get 50 to 30 amp converter from the front office with a refundable fee. We enjoyed the park and would highly recommend it to others. Originally we tried to book rainbow river state park but they were booked and therefore we ended up here. Needless to say, after seeing rainbow river and then staying in this place I'm glad we did. Next time we go to rainbow river again for tubing we will stay at rock crusher canyon again. Lots of bugs, but its Florida. just bring fans and bug spray to control them. Horrible cell data coverage. Tried to use my cellphone hotspot but was only getting .3mb to 1.5 mb transfer rate mostly in the .5 area. We all had Att but it appears that most carriers will be affected as well after talking to a few people. Pros: Family friendly Large lots well maintained pool area , playground and clubhouse. Friendly staff and people. Good location near entertainment, shopping, food, etc. Full hookups with no issues or electrical issues. A couple of areas to improve on: Wi-Fi available and useful in the clubhouse ,however on our site it was unreachable. Supposedly a new company is being brought in to address the WIFI issue. Most sites are not paved, but the roads are. Could use a few more bath houses and dumpsters to strategically shorten walking distance.

Great park! We normally stay at Fort Wilderness but since we tried to book at the last minute we couldn't get a site at Disney FW. Glad we didn't! This park is only 15 minutes from Disney and has much larger sites than Disney. Turkey lake has concrete slabs and they are just as long as in Disney but they are not as wide as the premium Disney sites. We had full hookups, the people and staff were very nice. The bathrooms/showers were clean although not as grand as Disney. This park is in a great and family safe location near great restaurants, shopping, fuel, groceries, and theme parks but yet hidden and away from all the surroundings. Fishing, Bicycle paths, small farm, kids play areas, pool, dock gives you plenty of things to do. Will be staying here instead of Disney Fort Wilderness from now on. Gave it a 9 /10 because the concrete slabs weren't level.

Site C-16 is by far the best site and the only site directly on the water and its oversized. I was able to fit my 35' travel trailer, Ford Excursion, 30' boat trailer and a Ford F-150 with plenty of room left over for the kids to play. The bathrooms were clean but outdated, the other sites were very tight and I don't think I would come back unless I were to get C-16 again. C-16 is also right next to the boat ramp and directly on the docks. The people staying here and the park attendants were very accommodating and friendly. The water depth was 2.5-3' draft and about a 45 minute ride to the Atlantic and snorkel sites. The water on the docks and the beach area was crystal clear. Gave an 8 because of the outdated bathrooms and the primarily tight spots. C16 is a 9 only because the electrical box could use some updating and the sewer dump spot is on the opposite end for travel trailers. I had to buy 3 sewer extensions hoses to reach and the fuses on the electrical boxes tripped on several occasions when running the ac and lights. Saw manatees and two large 6' foot nurse sharks directly from the docks. Nice spot!

Very friendly and helpful. Stayed in row 1 ocean front, right on the beach with a gorgeous view. Great location and walking distance to many restaurants. Pet friendly. Downfall Wi-Fi is available but they charge for it, but who cares when you are right on the beach. Didn't open my laptop once. No pool onsite but the Ft. Myers community pool is nearby. We were warned by some other residents that if the beach patrol is able to see your outside lights on from the water that you could get a $100 fine because of turtles hatching. Had to reset the RV main breaker a couple of times, not sure if it was a park issue or not but never had to do that before. Ft Myers beach has better white sandy beaches but the actual beach in nearby Naples is better. Lots of stingrays, horseshoe crabs, and other critters on the FT Myers beach which might be a plus for some but a negative for others who might have kids. Overall great place and looking forward to comeback.

Bunch to do but everything is extra $ and I'm OK with that, Restaurants are pricey and I'm OK with that. The few disappointment I had was the size of the lots, tightness of the access roads and the closeness to the neighbors lot which made it a little challenging to back up a 35'+ travel trailer. I would have expected more from Disney in making the lots more secluded and private. We stayed in the 400 loop preferred lots. With that said everything was clean, the people were friendly, and lots of things to do but don't expect privacy.

Great park for the family. The kids ranging from 3-6 years old had a great time running around behind the campsites. The campsites are large and with plenty of room behind them to allow the kids to wonder and play but yet cleared enough to easily keep an eye on them. The bathroom and showers were clean and the rangers were friendly.
