Near town, friendly folks, nice bathroom/showers, but basically a parking lot with hookups. We were so close to our neighbors we could not only smell what was for dinner but knew what they were talking about. We were there for the 4th of July activities, so the location fulfilled our needs, we wouldn't go back again unless we really needed to be in town.
Great location to experience Cody, clean, pleasant. Friendly hosts that luckily allowed us move our 13' vintage trailer to an end spot, as sites are close together. It was what we needed and expected, but is more parking than camping.
A real campground! Bugs, wildlife, trees, campfire pits, campsites nicely spread out, no phone, no wi-fi. Great base for exploring the park. Restrooms clean and had a separate room to wash dishes (cold water). Worked out well to really be on vacation with our little antique trailer.
New owner has done lots of work on sites, trees trimmed, new gravel in pads and on road. Camping area near the river is out of sight/sound from highway, lots of trees, not cramped. Relaxing, enjoyable experience.
