This is a working mans park with most of the sites as long term rental to oil field works. That being said the park is neat and clean and the office staff is very helpful. The laundry facility is $1.00 per wash and dry and is clean. This is part of the Escapees RV Club but is much different then their normal parks because of the oil workers. All the people in the mark are friendly and great to talk to about the industry. We will stay again. Liked looking out over the oil fields and watching the flames at night. Visit the West of Pecos Museum well worth your time.
This is not a destination park, but one which works for a couple of nights. We had good level site. The laundry room, as in all Escapees Parks. is clean and low cost to use. Staff was very nice to deal with. We will stay here again.
We stayed here one night in a motorhome and was impressed with the park. Concrete pads, paved road, and nice patio along with being well maintained. Easy access from I-10. We will stay here again and spend more time in the area.
This is a nice park with friendly owner that is very helpful about the area and places to visit. We had a concrete pad pull-through site with a patio. Easy in off I-10 and only 20 minutes from New Orleans. Plenty to do and place to eat in the area. We stayed here 4 nights and our rate was Good Sam. Would stay here again.
This is one of our favorite Escapees parks. Its close to Branson and old Branson. It has both back-in and pull-thru sites. If you stay in a pull-thru, you can't take advantage of the weekly rate. You do not have to be and Escapees member to stay here but you will pay a little more per night. Facility is always clean and laundry costs are always on the lower side. If you get a chance check out the College of the Ozarks which is just up the road. Take in the museum and make sure you eat there.
This is our first visit and what a gem. I don't think we have ever stayed in and RV park that edges everything and has perfect grass. The sites are all concrete along with a patio and grill with picnic table. They are expanding the park and will even have more to offer in the future along with 115 sites. We stayed here for a week and would not hesitate to come back again.
We came here for a week and stayed a month. There is always much to do at and Escapees Park and you can count on them having a clean facilities with 2-laundry room that will cost $1.00 per wash and dry. The management is always friendly as well as the people in the park. There are basically 3-RV park at this facility. The oaks is the newest and the one where you check in. There is a tree covered shaded park up by the Escapees headquarters and a more open park with no shade between the activity center and CARE. If you haven't been here before take the time to tour the headquarters and CARE. Check out all the activities the park has to offer and the free movies on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Take sometime and drive through the deed site area with homes and private RV sites. There is a lot to this park and what not to love at Escapees.
This park has large pull-thru sites with plenty of room between them. Most have concrete pads with a patio and picnic table. Laundry room is large and kept clean with plenty of washers and dryers. Found the park to be very quite. They also have a large book exchange. We stayed here for a week in a motorhome and would stay again. Not far from Huntsville and the U.S. Space & Rocket Center.
This is a well kept park with all gravel sites. We stayed here for a week and found the owner very friendly and helpful. Also the restrooms and laundry facility were kept clean and well maintained. We stayed here in a motorhome and would stay again.
We picked this park along I-20 exit 44 because it gave Good Sam discount. The park has basic gravel sites that are level with full hook-up. The laundry room is clean as well as the shower facility. The park was self check-in but did have a phone number if you had a questions. This park would work for and overnight with places to eat within walking distance. We stayed here in a motorhome. If you call and make a reservation they will give you a site number over the phone.
This is a nice quite park with large sites and 2-clean laundry rooms. The only problem we found with the park is its built on a slope which cause the sites to slope a little bit from side to side. You may have to block your wheels on one side for the RV to be real level. We would come back again. Park very clean and at the entrance they have a car wash and RV wash facility.
This is a nice basic park with level sites large enough for big rigs. Gravel roads could use some work but still passable. The laundry room was a surprise with multiple washers heavy duty style and one that could hold 4-loads. The owner is very nice and helpful both parking and the area to visit. We would stay here again.
This is a nice basic park with easy access to I-44 with paved roads and concrete pad. Plenty of room between sites and long enough for large rigs. The laundry room was clean and washer/dryer cost a $1.00 for each load. We would stay here again.
Based on other reviews we would not have stopped here, but for a night we thought we would give it a chance and boy were we surprised. First the staff was very friendly and went over board explaining what was available to us. The sites are large with lots of space between them. They have lots to do here including pools, lake, game rooms and activities for kids and adults. Our rate reflected Passport America. We will stay again for a longer visit.
This is a great KOA with a friendly staff and wide level sites. Since our visit here 3-years ago they have added a cafe which serves breakfast and dinner. We had dinner which was very good and reasonably priced. We will stop again when passing through the area. Our site had a deck with table and chairs. Nice place to relax.
We have stayed in this park before and was very happy with it; both location to everything in the area, but also the owners are very helpful. The first night we had a power issue and the next day they jumped on the problem and made the repairs to the park system. Other parks just tell you to move to another site and get around to the problem sometime. The laundry facility is clean and low cost to use. The park is very clean we will come here again anytime we visit Elkhart.
This is and older park with a lot of different sites to choose from. We had one up front near the entrance which was a pull-through. The site was long with plenty of room for our motorhome and tow but it was tight to the rigs on either side of us. The owners were friendly and the laundry area was clean with low cost to do our wash. We would stay here again if in the area.
This is one of the nicest parks you will ever stay in. The grounds are well taken care of and the sites are very wide with large grass areas and each with fire pit with grill stand along with patio and picnic table. They do not have laundry facilities so plan ahead. There are two parks to choose from one with full hookup and the other with water and electric. The difference in $2.00. We stayed here 3-night and will be back.
This is a very nice park in the heart of the Amana Collonies area. All the towns are easy to get to from here. The park has very large level sites with plenty of grass space between each site. Each site has a picnic table and they have a fire ring if you want one. The laundry room is very clean with wash costing $1.00 and dry $0.50 for 45 minutes. Best bargain we have found. We would come back again.
This is a clean well maintained park with a mixture of sites both 30 and 50 amp including pull-throughs and back ins. We stayed here 4 nights and found the park situated very well to visit Galena and the area. Would stay here again and highly recommend this area to visit, the town of Galena is wonderful.
We found this to be a very nice park both quite and easy to reach all the attractions of the Dells. The park is under new ownership as of the first of the year and they are working hard making improvements. We found it clean and easy to get into our site. Stayed here in a motorhome and would stay here again. Our fee reflected the passport of america discount plus a weeks stay.
This park prides itself on cleanliness and condition of the grounds which could not be better. Very quite with gravel sites and large grass areas with picnic tables between each site. The laundry room was spotless and both dryer and wash cost $1.00 each. We stayed here 3-nights in a motorhome and will return again. If you are going to the Mayo Clinic they also have shuttle service available.
Very nice KOA, clean with wide level site and grass between them along with picnic table. Laundry room is very nice and clean with various size machine to handle larger loads. Office staff was friendly and made sure you got into your site and happy with it. We stayed here for 3 nights and would come back to this park.
Very nice park large flat sites with grass between the sites. New laundry room with new washers and dryers. Very friendly staff and eager to please. Our price reflected either the Passport American discount or Escapees both 50% off the going rate. We would stay here again.
This is an OK park. Its quiet and there are trees which offer shade in the hot weather. Some of the sites are not real level, but you can work with them. I had to trim the tree at our site before opening my slide. However the sites are long with plenty of room between you and the next site and they all have picnic tables. We stayed here for 3 nights, and would stay here again. The nightly rate was Passport America.
We picked this park because it looked like the best in the area by the reviews. It has met our expectations the sites are all flat and easy to get into. Even though they don't advertise pull-through sites many of them you can if there isn't another rig in the double site. We found the family very nice to deal with. They only draw back is they could update their laundry room. Other then that we would come back again.
This truly is a small town park but has full hookups, some 50 amp and others 30 amp. The owners take the time to tell you about the area and make sure you are all OK. There is no washroom or laundry facilities so its basically a stop over, but worked for us in a motorhome. Would stay here again. The town has a nice museum which is worth your time if you like small towns.
At first this park looked high priced, but compared to the KOA at $60-70 per night, this was a bargain. Very well maintained with paved sites and plenty of room between you and the next rig. We would stay here again.
This park was a real joy to stay in with long pull-through sites and park place alongside. There is a large grass area between each site which is kept cut and watered. Each site has a picnic table. We stayed here for 3-days and would come back again. This is a great park.
Our rate reflected Good Sam discount. Would have rated the park higher if they would cut the grass. The location is fantastic on a hill overlooking the valley, town of St. Mary and Glacier National Park along with the lower lake. The setting could not be better. On a side note the Johnson family restaurant is to die for. The food is all fresh and home made along with the pies. We ate here 3-nights in a row it was so good.
If you like a forest type setting this municipal campground would be for you. Each space is large to handle the largest rig. There is a fire ring, picnic table at each site. They have a playground for children and the country club pool is also available. We would stay here again. Our nightly rate reflected a Good Sam discount.
This is a very nice park, clean and well take care of. All the sites are level and have nice gravel and grass. The only problem we had was with the WI-FI when checking in we were told its very slow. Well we were in the back of the park and the signal was so weak we could not log on. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.
What a wonderful campground very neat with flat gravel sites including grass area, picnic table, and fire ring. Their free Wi-Fi worked and was fast. We would stay again. Our price included Good Sam discount.
This is a nice place to stop for 1-night along the Alaska Hwy. You overlook Kluane Lake and can get fuel, eat dinner and take a walk along the lake. They also have a hotel should you need a room. The only drawback is 15-20 amp service and no dump. So if you are and all electric rig this could be a problem. We had a nice dinner, got gasoline and enjoyed the lake view.
This is a very nice campground with full hookups and shaded sites. The park is very clean and neat and has nice laundry facility. The park staff is eager to provide information and will also books local activities for you. We would stay here again.
If you like camping in the woods along a stream this park is for you. It reminds us of a BLM campground but with hookups. We even had 50 amp service at our site. You could fly fish in the stream which was so clear. We would stay here again.
The view from this park of Kachemak Bay is to die for. There is room between spaces and each site has a picnic table. You check in at the gas station out front there are no signs to direct you so everyone pulls into the park and then has to walk back but no big deal. We would stay here again much nicer then down on the spit.
This is a US Forest Service campground with no dump station or water. Great setting with paved roads and sites. Plenty of walking trails and to sit and look at middle glacier. Doesn't get much better if you like to dry camp.
Very nice park with friendly host, they even have a small book exchange. Princess Wilderness Lodge is up the hill in walking distance overlooking the Kenai River. Beautiful setting, would stay here again.
Nice flat sites with plenty of room compared to most in Alaska, and very close to Seward. Found the staff friendly and helpful. Washers and dryers were $2.50 per load. We stayed for four nights and would stay here again.
I gave this park rating of 8 only because the sites are very tight. We could not put out an awning and basically stepped out our door into the next sites vehicle. The park overall is very clean and has a nice staff. All the sites are flat with a gravel base. There is some train noise because the track are next to the park, but its daytime for the most part. Would stay here again because its the best in Anchorage.
Very nice RV park between Wasilla and Palmer. Clean wide space some with 50 amp service FHU which we had along with pull-through site. Laundry was large and clean as well as the restrooms. These are gravel sites with some grass between them typical of what you see through out Alaska. We stayed here 4-nights and would stay here again. Convenient to the Parks and Glenn Highways heading toward Anchorage.
We stayed here for 3 nights., Its a very nice park with friendly owner and staff. The advertise full hookups but they only have 5 sites that are, or I would have given them a higher rating. If you like trains, the summer depot is behind the park and you can take the Hurricane up and back or pick up the train from Anchorage to Fairbanks with a stop in Denali. Also short walk to town and airport if you want a scenic ride. Would stay here again.
This is your basic gravel sites with electric and water over half the sites. It's quiet and the owners are very nice. Our price reflects an Escapees discount. They also honor Good Sam. We would stay here again. It's 27 miles from Denali and not far from places to eat.
We stayed here in a 34' motorhome with a tow for three nights. The site was one of their super sites and we just fit. the reason being the overgrown bushs at each end of the site. The sites are flat gravel with grass in between. Our rate reflected the Good Sam discount. We would stay here again because overall its a nice park.
This park is OK for one night, but would not stay longer. Their Wi-Fi was not turned on yet and with no cell phone connection its a little bit of a turn off. There are places to eat both at the lodge and within walking distance. If you need groceries you are out of luck.
Nice flat sites with 50 amp service. They also have a gas station and RV wash site. Laundry facility was large and good price at $2.00 per washer much better than the $4.00 at other parks. We would stay here again.
This is a nice park, but be careful selecting sites. They have a lot of trees and could cause problems with slides. We had to move until we found one that could handle our motorhome. The sites are all flat and many have 50 amp. Found the park a little high priced even with our Good Sam discount.
This is probably one of the lower cost parks you will stay in on the road to Alaska. The sites are flat. When we checked in they still had not turned on the water but that wasn't a problem. We had difficulty getting Wi-Fi. I had to sit outside to get any signal at all. Would stay here again for one night.
This was a stop over for one night but the park was very pleasant and had nice wide, flat sites. The only drawback was to use their Wi-Fi you need to go into the main building, would not work in the park. They gave a gas discount of $0.04 per litre which was nice. Will stay here again on our trip back.
We arrived in Watson Lake, and the Alaska Highway washed out going north so we have been here several days and the owner has gone out of his way for us. So has the town. This is a clean neat park with very clean restroom and laundry room which is cheaper then some along the highway. We will stay on our return trip.
We are staying here for one night and have a pull-through site that is not level and very muddy. However they have had a lot of rain today. Wi-Fi has been very good and fast; no complaints about that. Would stay here again if passing through, received Good Sam rate.
Spent 2-nights in this park and was very satisfied with the laundry facilities and nice flat sites. If only the road were not gravel and kicked up dust all would be great. Wi-Fi worked well. We would stay here again.
Small park but very nice with a view of the glacier. The owners live on site and are very friendly. Laundry clean but a little high priced but better then looking for one in Smithers. Each site has nice picnic table and fire ring with wood available. Wi-Fi works well but they limit you to the sites you can visit. They lock you out of downloading updates such as virus updates and going on facebook.
This campground is next to the Ksan Historical Village and museum. Great place to stay all flat sites with gravel and grass around them and paved roads. You sit looking at the mountains and Skeena River. Our price is Good Sam rate. Would stay here again.
Very nice park, clean with flat, gravel sites and well maintained grass around the gravel. Owners are very nice and eager to help out with info on the area. They live on site which makes it nice. We would come back again.
This park is under new ownership that is working very hard and it shows. The park is very clean and neat and has a B&B on site as well. The laundry facility had 2-washers and dryers and was very clean. We would stay again. Our price reflected the Good Sam discount.
We found this a very clean well maintained park. The pull-through sites all have high hedge row that separates the site from the one next to it. They have a place to eat on the grounds that is open Wednesday - Sunday. We would stay again. Our rate reflected Passport America discount.
Very nice park with neat, clean facilities including 3- laundry rooms. All paved sites with paved roads. My only complaint is spaces are close, but you do have tall bushes as privacy. We stayed here for 6 days and would stay here again.
Very nice park with paved roads and sites all are flat and have a patio with picnic table. Many of the sites are pullthrough with plenty of parking. Two laundry facilities all very clean. We stayed here for a week and would stay again.
Stayed here for a week based on the RV Park Reviews site and was very please. Clean well run park in excellent shape with paved roads and large sites. Laundry room was spotless and cost for washer and dryer was $1.00 per load each. Will stay here again when is this area, lots to do and nice area to visit.
Went to stay in this park what a dump. The campground was overgrown and had junk all over the place and know body to check you in. We left and will never come back. Went up the road another 40 miles to another park.
We picked this park based on someone we met, that stay here each winter. Turns out we were very happy with the park. It is close to Joshua Tree National Park and there are some nice places to eat in town. Stayed here for a week and would come back again.
This was our first time to Quartzsite and we picked this park because they gave and Escapees discount. Turns out its a very nice park and easy to get to and very friendly owners. This is a park catering to 55 or older so there are know kids in the park or facilities for them. The new owners have put a lot of work into this Park and it shows. They had a wonderful dinner for all of us on St. Patricks Day. We will come back again.
We picked this park because of their location to El Paso and have enjoyed our stay here. If the park was full the spaces would be tight, but we had no problems, and the roads in the park are paved and sites are flat. Laundry room is large with wash and dryer $1.00 per load. They also have large RV parts store and service facility. Our rate reflected Good Sam discount. Our Passport America discount doesn't apply this time of year. If you want a place to eat go to the Cattleman's Steak House. The drive is well worth it, and the meal was outstanding. Ask the park people about the Cattleman's.
Great park double paved site so you could pull the car in alongside the RV plus the roads were all paved. Place is only 8-years old very clean including laundry room.. Our rate was Passport America. Would stay again very friendly staff.
Very nice campground with lots to do if you have children including large pool, tennis court, volleyball, game room and more. We stayed here for a week and would stay again. Very clean and well maintained park.
We stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend with the park at full capacity. The park staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Site when full are tight and some are not as level as you make like but the roads are all paved so there is no dust. We would stay here again. If you have kids there is lots to do at this park.
Very well maintained campground. Restrooms and laundry facility very clean and the ground are kept cut with very nice gardens. Stayed here for a week and would come back again. Sites are large with plenty of room between them. Owner and workampers are very friendly. They give GoodSam and Escapees discounts.
Nice campground with paved roads. Sites are all gravel but for the most part flat and tiered because of the hilly terrain. Laundry room small 2-washers and 1-large dryer that can handle 2-loads. Very well maintained park with nice flower gardens. Garbage container on each site which is a nice touch. My only complaint is that it doesn't seem like a very friendly park. Never see anyone driving around and checking on the campground. Stayed here 1-week in motorhome would stay again. Accepted our Passport and GoodSam discount.
This is a gem on the Mississippi River across from Natchez. You can sit and watch the barges go by and enjoy a quiet park. Very friendly and clean. They accept Passport America, GoodSam and Escapees discounts. Will come back again. We stayed for a week in a pull-through site.
Small campground but very well maintained. Owners live on site and work on the grounds every day. They have a very nice clubhouse and clean laundry room. Play area for children and also disc golf. We stayed here in a motorhome and would stay again.
Very clean and well maintained park. They accepted our Passport American and GoodSam discount for a 1-week stay. Laundry facility was very clean with up to date machines and low cost to use. Owners very helpful, even helping me get RV service over the weekend for a defective transfer switch. Even let me send a fax at no charge for our insurance claim. That is unheard of in most parks. Will stay here again.
Very nice and friendly campground all though the space were a little close. Easy access from I-75 and close to many sites to see. All the camp roads are paved which was a plus and the laundry room was very clean. On Saturday mornings they have a free pancake breakfast which was fun get together. We will camp here again when traveling down I-75.
This is a new campground with 17 sites but what a nice place to stay. Everyone is so friendly and the camp hosts went out of their way to make sure you were happy. We stayed their for 4-days and will come back to stay again. If this is your first time to Savannah take the trolley tour. The Orange Trolley will pick you up at the park and bring you back. The hosts will make the arrangements for you.
