This is not the best campground, but it sure beats nothing. If you have kids, I found there is nothing for them to do. The map says there is a game room on the far end of the CG, but we could never find it. The road, sites, parking, pet walks, all can not be differentiated from one another. The laundry doubles as Wi-Fi lounge without seating. Breakfast waffles were good, staff nice, owner was absent. It is a great place to stay for the night, but I would not plan on more than one night. Shade was available, but not for my site. Signs to CG very confusing as they took us 2 miles down a dirt road full of potholes before we found another sign that indicated that the CG was nowhere near the GPS location.
It is on an Army National Guard rifle range. Shooting all day and all night. Long drive on back dirt roads to get there. 30 min to any civilization. No one camps here, one other camper living in another camper. Too high for primitive camping.
I hate this place! RV trash resort. This place is over run with golf carts, unsupervised kids, smokers, and dogs. Camped here 15 years ago in a tent, not too bad then. Now it is chaos, everything seems to be not included in your stay. Water slide is a complete rip-off. Carts rent for $100/day, here it is all about the dollar. Save your money, buy your kids a Yogi Bear coloring book and camp where it's affordable.
It is old and in need of cleaning. You find that "Park Security" is more important than campers, children, people, etc. Web site says there are cement pads. None could be found. Pool was filled with dead bugs. Dumpster was not convent. Laundry was too expensive. No air conditioning in restrooms. People from the beach come and park and use restrooms here. They will park in your space and take towels you left out drying. Even with the "security" paying customers seem to get the shaft.
