It was very easy access from and to the interstate. The site we were in was extremely close to the interstate and noise was a really ugly issue. I'll bet our motorhome was 100 ft off the interstate. The sites were sort of close but the pull-throughs were long enough. We only stayed here overnight so I can't comment on much of the park.
This was an okay park. The lots and roads are narrow. I had a hard time getting the motorhome in and out of the lot onto the park's road. I didn't notice any road noise even though we were sort of close to the interstate. The staff was friendly. One peculiar thing about staying there. The staff requires a $20 deposit in cash for an entry card that has to be returned during office hours. Returning the entry card was an irritation.I might pick another park for multiple days. I must admit the dog park was a huge plus for our dogs. The price reflect Passport America discount.
We stopped here overnight. We stayed behind the office and the pull-through site was extremely hard to get into. The site was narrow too. The hookups are at the end of the site making it impossible to leave your car connected unless you carry 40+ feet of sewer and water hose. Road noise was a problem too. I would not stay there again.
We stayed for a couple days. The sites are back in only but the sites are on "cul-de-sac" kind of arrangement which made backing in very easy. The owner was fun to talk to. As mentioned before, there are no bathrooms. There are several neat things within minutes of the park. The park is new and the owner is busy making it better. The only minus would be a few slots were occupied with run down trailers. I enjoyed staying there and would stay there again.
This was an interesting park. It had multiple sewer and water connections in the longest pull-through site that I have ever seen. Our site was a little narrow. The roads were paved and the site was dirt. The laundry was reasonable in cost and had several washers and dryers. Thankfully we arrived before the end of day when the over nighters started arriving. The line was about 5 or 6 RVs deep. Overall, I was pleased and would be happy to stay again. Man oh man, check out the petrified wood logs beside the office. They are wonderful. However, there is a whole forest of them nearby but it was neat seeing the logs. Free coffee and muffins in the office for breakfast.
This is an RV park beside a lodge. The sites are relatively new and breakfast was free at the lodge. We liked this park. There is a small pond with turtles that our dogs enjoyed watching. There is a neat pub/restaurant bordering the park that was really fun. The sites were easy to access and pull-throughs were long enough. The roads and sites are dirt. The staff was nice too. We would stay here again.
This was a good campground. It was a little complicated to find but we got there. The sites were large and easy to get in and out. This is a quiet park or at least it was when we were there. The riverfront was nice to walk around. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again.
We spent a month there and it was horrible. There are lots of permanents that think they own the place. The sand had burrs that the dogs carried into the motorhome that made life grand. The vacuum would not vacuum them up, so we had to pull them out of the carpeting by hand. The worst part was the equipment rental yard next door that started loading trucks at 4am or earlier. Believe me, you will hear the backup alarms from the trucks starting at 4am that last all day long--even on weekends. My sites electrical panel actually melted my electrical cable the end, and we didn't use the AC. As someone mentioned, the water pressure is insanely high in the park. Cathedral City has other parks that we visited that are much nicer. I will not stay at this park ever again.
I liked this campground. It didn't smell like cows to me at all. Yes, there is a cattle feeding area a mile away, but I didn't smell the cattle at the campground. Yes, there are permanents on the back row, but I didn't see anything wrong there. I would have given it a better overall rating but the roads were dirt. It is a desert campground like tons of others with rocks and dust. The space I had was large and long. It had a concrete pad for the table but not for the motorhome. I didn't have Passport America (which I do now) but if I had it would have been a true bargain. The manager is a nice guy too. I would definitely stay there again.
