The park is quiet, away from highway noise, with abundant pine trees. Some spaces are a little tight to back in, but with plenty of space between sites. Some roads will not allow two vehicles to pass comfortably, but pull over access is available. The rate we paid reflects a rate for groups of 10 or more rigs. We camped with our travel group and the group facilities were clean with cooking and refrigeration amenities for our group of 30+. Hookups were adequate, but our sewer drain was 25+ feet from our valve on the rig. Personnel at receptions were friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.
Located adjacent to I-35 which generates some noise, but it is very tolerable. The sites are generally level, but may require small adjustments. Trees between sites can interfere with slide-outs, but there is ample room to move forward or aft to allow normal slide movement. Rate reflects a group rate for 10+ rigs. We camped with our travel group and found the group facilities to be clean with cooking and refrigeration amenities for our group of 30+ very pleasant. No charge for the group room if you have 10 or more rigs. Some permanent residents, but they are located away from the normal travelers. Most sites were pull through with plenty of room to get situated. We would camp here again.
This is a quiet, pleasant park on the edge of town with mixed pull through and back-in sites. The sites are generally level with the hookups located conveniently. The hosts live on the property and are friendly and ready to help if a problem arises. There is not a designated pet area, but plenty of nice grassy areas and roads to walk your pet. Some working campers in the park, but their sites were generally well maintained. The rate we paid reflects a group rate for 10 rigs or more. We camped for four days with our travel group. Group facility was very nice with cooking and refrigeration amenities for a group of 40-50. This park is a convenient to Conroe, The Woodlands, Spring, and Houston.
We stayed here with a group of friends. None of us could access the internet. We inquired at the office and were told it sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. We were camped for 4 nights and it never worked. The sites were level and there were lots of trees. Some of the trees could interfere with slides. We have three slides and had to watch carefully how we parked so we could use our slides. We did not use the laundry facilities, showers, or swimming pool. It has easy access to Waco. Being close to the interstate I was worried about road noise but we were not bothered with the noise at night.
