This is a nice state park with a big spring to swim in. The springs are developed with stairs to enter. Camp sites are full hookup and are not developed. Some sites are not level and you will need to make sure to let them know your rig size. We came here to swim and camp over a 3 day holiday. We enjoyed it and so did our kids. Staff was nice and friendly. It was quiet and we will go again.

A very nice camp ground. Some sites are very private and other are out in the open. It is a very pretty area with lots of hiking and biking trails. The lake is a level is low though but did not take away from it being nice. There is a small town store to get ice and what not if needed. We stayed in the D loop. Sites are level with gravel and there are a few concrete slabs also.

Road in to park is paved but has many pot holes. Bay access is not as easy as you may think and most of the park is a reserve that is off limits to public. Pets are allowed but no where except in campground. Pretty area and nice if you want to be on the beach. Watch for sand fleas. Heavy!

This campground is very nice. There is a trail that goes around the lake for 3.5 miles and the woods are nice. Fishing is good and the bull frogs and water fowl sing during the night. Access is easy and the rest rooms are very nice. Very nice place to stay.

We went there for a couple of days and it is a great place to get away from it all and still have some of the comforts of home with the hook ups. This is one of the few campgrounds that has hookups. You can't use a cell as there is no signal there. No playgrounds either other than the river and mother nature. We loved it. The camp sites are very private with greenery all around. Black as silk at night to for star gazing. If you want a rustic place with hookups, this is it. It is 20 miles north of Russellvile. Look up the site to find out more. Don't want to make it too easy to find than everyone will be there, you know what I mean?
