We stayed here two nights, and the rate reflects Passport America price (50% off regular rate), which is good for 2 days. This park is a little rough around the edges, but is very comfortable. We were able to put our 62 foot rig and toad into one of their pull throughs without unhooking, always a big positive for us! Very close to downtown Aikin, which is a great place to spend the day. Great restaurants including a micro brewery, Aiken Brewing Company, which we highly recommend! Would stay here again!

Nice park for a long stay, or just overnight. Not far off Interstate 26, but far enough that you were not bothered by the sound of it. Management is very nice, and helpful. Rate reflects Passport America rate; good for two days, then full price. We would stay here again, for sure. They sell propane on site.

I found this park on the Passport America site, and then came here to confirm whether it was a place I would want to stay. This was the only park we found in the Southern Florida Coastal area that honors Passport American in January, February and March. In fact they honor it all year round! The daily price I show is the 50% discounted rate. You can only use the discount for 5 days, but that is perfect for our purposes. This is an older, but being improved continually. They have a new pool, and have added a bunch of new sites compatible with big rigs like ours: we are 62' long with our car hauler trailer. They had us drop the trailer at the entrance and then after we were situated in our site they brought the trailer over to our site with a tractor. Perfect! They have free, quite fast WiFi, and the park is well maintained. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This is a very basic overnight park. No frills, no Wi-Fi, no cable TV, and you must share a water spigot with your neighbor. There is supposed to by a "Y" connector on the spigot so two can use it, but most of the sites were missing the "Y". We did find one that had it. The grass is mowed, and the sites are clean, and very level. This park is right next to Exit 34 off I-135, and the traffic can be loud at times, but it did not bother us in the least. It is an easy "off and on" park. We would stay here again if we were traveling through the area and needed a place to overnight again.

This is nice park with very friendly hosts who lead you to your site in a golf cart and make sure you are positioned in your site properly to you can use the hookups. They have great cable TV, and the WiFi works great at long as not too many people are using it at the same time. The park is right next door to the "Oil Patch Museum", and walking distance to several restaurants, and about 1.5 miles from the local IGA supermarket. The 50 amp power is strong, and consistent, and the hookups are all modern, and nicely done. We just stayed overnight here, but would definitely stay here again.

This is a great overnight place, but is not to be confused with a destination park. The sites are a little rough, but level. Sites 1-9 provide 50 amp electrical service, and the rest are 30amp. All sites have full hookups. The WiFi is a little spotty, but I did use it. The pull through sites are more than long enough to accommodate our 62' length (36' Class A + 26' Trailer). The park is operated by the owners of the Conoco Gas Station. The Interstate noise was almost not noticeable to us. If you fuel up at the Conoco you get 5 cents off per gallon if you stay in the RV Park.

We stayed here one night, and it is a good overnight place just off I-84, right on the Snake River. We stayed in a pull through spot which more than handled our 62' feet length. The park is a work in progress, but the owners are working hard to improve the park. There are no sewer hookups in the pull through sites, but we were more concerned with having 50amp service as it was hot and we needed to run both A/C's. We used their dump station on the way out. We would stay here again.

First of all this is strictly a first come, first served park. There are no reservations...others have mentioned you should make reservations. It does fill up on weekends, so we decided to arrive here Sunday afternoon, and by that time it was almost empty of the weekenders. We came to this park KNOWING they only offer 30 and 50 amp hookups...no sewer, or water. I gave it a 9 because it is exactly as advertised, and the pull through and back in sites are LOOOONG! The park has a a rustic high plains feel, but is neat, and well maintained. We stayed in site #39...about 90 feet long. This is a great little park, and close to many things, plus there are bike paths, hiking trails, a lake, etc. We would definitely come here again.

We stayed at this country park for 8 days. What a great find! Several miles of walking/biking paths. A river runs through it: literally! No sewer, or dump station, but there is a city run one (free) about 1 mile away. The 50amp electric was great, but the water system appeared to have air in the system. I think there was a water main break causing this air in the system. We loved this park, and will return. A great value for $15/day.

We arrived around 1:45pm and the office was closed, but the sign said to go pick out a site (the note showed which ones were already reserved) and then come back later and pay. We walked the park and chose #14 as it had a good view of the southern sky for our DirecTV, and shade to boot. The Wi-Fi here in the back of the park is screaming fast! Our site is completely level. Management is very friendly, and easy going. We will definitely stay here again. Walking distance to Old Town. I rarely give more than an "8", but his park is close to perfect!

This is a very tight park, and the spaces are very close to each other, but the manager was VERY accommodating, and allowed me to drop the trailer directly behind my pull through spot in the tenting area. She walked down to my spot and helped me get parked. Management was very helpful in spite of the fact a large club was coming in with 16 big RV's. It's a short walk on a path to the ocean, and not that far outside of downtown Long Beach. If you have slides this would be a difficult park to enjoy. We stayed here one night and were happy with our decision.

This is a small park, but it can handle big rigs. We are 62' long including our car hauler trailer, and we fit perfectly in site #5 with 2 feet to spare. They do have 50 amp service, and free Wi-Fi that is blazing fast. I am writing this review using that Wi-Fi. There was no wind today. There are nice restrooms, but no showers, and no laundry, which is fine; we have our own. This is a first come, first served park--no reservations. There appear to be several permanent rigs here, but all are in nice condition. There is also a dry camping area with long pull throughs for $9/night. A nice overnight spot, especially when the wind is not blowing. Walking distance to town, and nice sandy beach where swimming is allowed.

We chose this park initially because it was a Passport America park, and were only planning on staying overnight, however we stayed two nights. It is a basic park with gravel interior roads. They have a number of long pull through sites. Ours was 63 feet long. There are a lot of fulltime residents, however, the park is kept clean, mowed, and owner is friendly and accomadating. About 8 miles from Port Angeles, and 8 miles from Sequim. There is a paved bike path taking you to either town. We would stay here agian.

What a pleasant surprise! We used our Golden Age Passport to have the entrance fee waived and to cut in half the daily camping rate of $10. Our three days here cost us $15! This National Monument is well maintained. We rode our bikes around the scenic loop, and hiked several trails. It was pitch dark at nigh, and very, very quiet. The Rangers were friendly, and very helpful. There are four large pull through sites. We are 62 foot long with our coach and trailer, and found site #7 perfect for us! Will stay here again!

Found this park initially through Passport America. The Passport America rate is $14.50 per night plus tax. The owner is a very friendly guy who will do whatever it takes to make your stay pleasant! We are 36' long with a 26' trailer and did not have to unhook: our site was over 100' long! Close to two grocery stores, and walking distance to the Main Street area. The park is a work in progress, but is steadily improving since the current owners took over two seasons ago. Very quiet with views of the valley and mountains. Will stay here again.

We had been dry camping for about 10 days and really needed to "plug in" for a day to get our house batteries charged back up, so we chose this park. What pleasant surprise. The park is owned by the City of Gadsden, and is very, very well maintained. Friendly staff. We used the laundry and were very pleased with the $1.00 per load charge for washing and drying. Cable TV is excellent, and the Wi-Fi is very good. We would definitely stay here again.

We camped in the dry camping section of this spacious RV park, and loved the quiet solitude! We used their laundry facilities and they were quite nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. One problem we noticed. When we arrived we used their dump station to empty our tanks as we had been dry camping for several days prior to our arrival, and the sewer line backed up. This happened again when we were exiting after stay. Not sure what the problem is. Otherwise we would stay here again.

This is an older park and very quaint, but what a location! Great sunset views, great staff. Monthly rates are phenomenal! 1.5 miles from downtown Cedar Key.

Arrived without reservations, and was a little concerned, but the very helpful staff got us a spot on the ocean for one night (all we wanted anyway). Had to drop our car hauler trailer, but the spot is 30 feet from our coach, so no problem. Free Wi-Fi and it works great! Level spot: all gravel with some grass, but nicely maintained. Nice laundry, also. Would stay here again.

We spent 2 nights here. This is not a great place, but the price was right, and we were able to ride our bikes into downtown San Antonio to see the Riverwalk, and the Alamo, plus a couple of missions along the way. The nicest part of this park is the entrance, which is very nice, but it goes downhill from there. Most of the sites are occupied long term...the grass is not mowed, and the sites are not very level. I would not stay here again. Rate quoted is Passport America.

This is a National Forest Campground. Friendly staff. Very well maintained, level back in sites, plenty of space between sites, very quiet day and night even when full on the weekend. We loved our stay here, and will go again. Close to Big Bear City. A bike path runs east about 3.3 miles to the outskirts of Big Bear City with great lakeside views!

We made reservations several months ago at this park and got the site we requested. We used their online reservation system, and it worked just fine. The site (Z1) was level, and had a nice concrete patio with table. We were close to the office, but the WiFi was a little weak. We spent 6 days here, and really liked the country feel: very quiet, and clean. Staff was very helpful, on more than one occasion when we needed information about local services. The view was amazing! About 10 minutes south of Santa Fe, and 2 blocks from NM 14, otherwise known as the Turquoise HWY. We would stay here again. The site we had was more than long enough to accommodate our 60' length.

We arrived at this park without a reservation and got a perfect site without tree obstructions for our satellite TV, although we could have used their cable TV if we had to. We needed a spot that would accommodate our 60 foot length and this site could have handled a 90 foot rig. The pads (dirt) were level. This is a great overnight park. Don't know if we would want to spend a lot of time here due to closeness of the sites to each other. There are a lot of trees, and some sites would have shade in the afternoon if you wanted shade. The staff was courteous and efficient. Took me less than 5 minutes to check in.

We stayed here over President's Day weekend in the newly opened Cottonwood RV Park. There are now around 116 RV spots with the opening of Cottonwood. The original RV park (Lakeside) has dirt interior roads, and pads, whereas the new Cottonwood has long concrete pads surround by grass. Very clean. We loved our time there and will go again. Also, there is now Wi-Fi available, at least in Cottonwood, as well as cable TV.

Decided at the last minute to stop for the day in Brookings. Looked up RV parks in, and near Brookings, and came across Harris Beach State Park. I remembered hearing good things about this park, and the reviews confirmed what I had heard. For $18 this is one of the better deals around...30 amp electric, water, and cable TV that has great clarity! Spot is extremely level, and in fact, did not have to level at all. We have a view of the Oregon coastline. Park is very clean, and well manicured. Wi-Fi signal is adequate, but you have to pay $3.99 per day. The good thing is more than one user can log in using the password and user name you create, so it is a good deal. Would stay here again!

We stayed here a few years ago, and we still love this park. This is a rare 10 for me. Very friendly staff, and the interior roads are very easy to maneuver through. You have a magnificent view of the Yaquina Bay Bridge, and the harbor. The Rogue Brewery is a short walk away. Spots are very level. Will stay here again!

We were having lunch in Aberdeen, WA and decided we only wanted to go another 1/2 hour, or so down the road. We looked up parks in the next city, Raymond, and found this little gem. Right on the river! We called ahead and were told to take site #1, the only pull through. This is a no frills park, but more than met our expectations. A bike path runs along the river back to Raymond, and the other direction almost to South Bend. We would stay here again. Beautiful views.

Stopped down the road in Marysville to look up RV parks within 30 miles and found Mt. Vernon RV Park, so we headed there. This is a nice little park, well maintained. We arrived after dark around 6:30pm, but found the office open. We checked in quickly, and were guided into our spot. The park is surprisingly full for this time of year. Will stay here again.

This RV park has been in existence for 4 years, and is still a work in progress. It is very rustic with no pavement. Staff is friendly, and helped me back into site #14. Eventually there will be a 1 acre fishing pond. The hole has been dug, but they will need to line it so it will hold water, because the soil is decomposed granite, and very porous. Near the Mt. Baldy ski area, two nice restaurants, hiking and mountain biking trails. Set at about 4,500 feet elevation in the Angelus National Forest with views of Mt. Wilson to the west, and Mt. Baldy to the east.

This park is divided into two parks.RV Park, and RV Resort. The RV Resort side is ownership based. We had a site on the Resort side right on the Rio Grande River. We had a large cement deck next to the motorhome. It is just an immaculate resort. This is an amazing value for $38 per night! We stayed here 5 days. We will definitely stay here again!!

We stayed here while touring Mesa Verde. It is a very clean, well maintained park. We used the pool and spa. The staff guided us to our spot, which was perfectly level!

Chose this park based on prior reviews read on this website. Easy on and off from freeway. Stayed overnight. Did not notice freeway sound inside motorhome. Very nice park with long pull throughs. Was directed to my site by management. Would definitely stay here again. WiFi was spotty, but I don't rely upon it as I have a Verizon aircard that I use primarily.

Stayed here overnight on our way to Oklahoma. Chose this park based on prior reviews and was not disappointed. Level site. Owner directed me into the site. Quick check in. This is a no frills park, and does not pretend to be anything else. Within walking distance to local Walmart, and several restaurants. Would stay here again.

This is really a nice park. Close to services such as restaurants, banks, Home Depot, etc. 2 swimming pools, 3 spas, shuffle board, tennis, etc. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Overnighted here on our way back to California. This is the only game in town. All gravel. Our site was level. Very quiet, and set back from the interstate. Nice, clean. Friendly staff person checked us in promptly. Good ovenight spot!

We stayed here for 4 days attending a Newell rally. A very nice park with daily trash pickup from your site. Some of the new 85 foot pull sites are not very level, and some may have to put the front on blocks while lowering the rear as far as it will go. I liked the park, and the management treated us like royalty. Would stay here again.

Was travelling west on I-10 and noticed this little park on this website. The other reviews are totally accurate. Staff is very friendly, prompt, and courteous. Sites are level, and the onsite restaurant is great! We stayed here in a 36' class A motorhome, with a 29 foot trailer and they had a pull spot that fit us perfectly! Will stay here again.

Very helpful in getting my 65' (motorhome/trailer) rig into a pull through that fit. All paved, but clean, and close to the strip. Nicely stocked store, and free coffee! Close to the freeway, but could not hear the freeway. Would stay here again.

This park is exactly as advertised. Very basic, but clean, with level gravel spots, and 50amp service. A short walk to the beach. We arrived late in the afternoon in Morro Bay and stayed here as there were no spots available just down the street at Morro Dunes until the next day. No frills, but the owners take pride in their park.

Very friendly staff, all dressed in Holloween costumes due to it being Holloween. We stayed here two days and just loved the location. Right across the street from a wonderful beach with an unobstructed view of Morro Rock. Facility is clean, and well maintained. Not all sites have 50amp service yet, but all should be hooked up within a month, or so. We had 30amp service, but that worked well for us. You can call "Dial A Ride" and be shuttled over to the Morro Bay Embarcadero for $1.50 per person. You can also catch a bus up to Hearst Castle from Morro Bay Park. Will stay here again!

This was our second time in this park. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon in our 36' Diesel Pusher. While interior roads are narrow we were easily able to navigate to space 99 and back in. Much to our surprise the park now offers 50amp electrical, which it did not last time (2005). This is a beautifully maintained secluded park. Park was virtually empty due to mid week arrival, and off season, but we love it that way! We will stay here again!

We pulled in early evening with no reservations. Manager came out to meet us (office was closed) and they only had dry spots available next to tent area. Charged me $18, and let me pick my spot. We ended up on a level area right next to Lake Bridgeport. Quiet, and a perfect overnight spot. Would stay here again. Reservations for hookups are a must during fishing season! WiFi is not too strong in back of park where we stayed, but you can get cell service. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff!

Arrived mid afternoon without reservations. No one on duty, but provided ability to self register. Picked out our spot, backed in and set up within 10 minutes! Sites pretty close to level. Up on a hill overlooking the town of Austin. Very nice city park, and pool across the street, and in walking distance to shops and eateries in town. Can walk from one end of town to the other in 10 minutes. Owner came by later to be sure all was well. Owned by the local Baptist Church. Nice overnight spot and the price was right.

This little park is located right on the Utah/Nevada line, just inside Nevada. They have a restaurant, small store where necessities can be purchased, and, of course, the RV Park. There appear to be a few full timers here. Spots are pull through, level, and dirt with nice flower plantings between each site. Clean, quiet and perfect for an overnight stay, which appeared to be what it was being used for by numerous guests who came in late, and left early. Great sunsets! Nothing fancy. Good 50amp service!

We arrived at this RV park on Friday morning about 10am. They have "first come first serve" sites available each day. The very polite lady advised they would do a walk through of the park around 11:30am, and if I would come back then they would put me in an available site. We went and had a late breakfast, came back at 11:30am and were promptly assigned a nice spot with shade! This park is located just outside the gate to Zion National Park, and the shuttle bus stops right at the entrance to the RV Park. Within walking distance to restaurants, and shops. Would stay here again!

This was our first visiting this park. It's obvious that lots of improvements have been made. My site was level with full hookups. Checkin was quick and painless. I will stay here again.

Have driven by this park many, many times on the way to Mammoth and always wanted to stop here. This time we did, and we were not disappointed! Clean, quiet, and nice evening views. Fast, courteous, efficient checkin! Will stay here again! Nice large showers, and very clean restrooms. Nice clubhouse with large TV. Watched the end of the Nascar Race (Daytona).

Newly renovated RV section. In 2006 there were only 8 marginal RV sites with full hookups, and marginal 30 amp service. They renovated the RV section resulting in 24 full hookup sites with several full through spots. They now have up to 50 amp service. All paved, and most sites are pretty level. We stayed in site #1 which required no leveling. We will stay here again.

I made my two night reservation on line quickly. Arrived after 3:00 PM, and office was closed for the day, but an envelope with my name, and space number was on the door. I was asked to officially check in the next morning which I did. They took care of my paperwork, and gave me my Passport America discount: 2 days, for the cost of one! No extra charges. Pool was nice. Very close to restaurants, stores, gas, etc. I will stay here again!

This is our second year in a row at this RV park. Ownership changed March, 2006, just after our last visit. The new owner has spent the past 10 months renovating the guest rooms. Not much has been done to the RV Park, however, this is Death Valley: sand, rocks. Very peaceful setting with amazing views of the Panamint Valley, and sand dunes. This is not Palm Springs, and there is no grass. Sites are level, and hookups are easily accessible. All sites are pull through. I made my reservations online through their website, and received confirmation via e-mail within an hour, along with the space # I had been assigned. Checkin was swift, and pleasant. They give a 10% AAA discount.

Beautiful, clean, NEW park. Sites are all paved and LEVEL! Well lit, and easy to use hookups. Cable TV was excellent,and WiFi was free, and easy to use anywhere in the park. Staff friendly, and helpful. Rogue Brewery and Brew Pub just across the parking lot.

Arrived at this park on a Friday afternoon without reservations and were checked in within 10 minutes by a very friendly and helpful attendant. Park offers free WiFi which works well, even in the spots farthest from the office...we were in space 35. Short walk to beach. Chose this park based on other reviews of this park on this site, and was not disappointed!

Spent one night here on the way to Astoria, OR. Relied upon reviews from this site and was NOT disappointed! Check in was fast and courteous. Was in my site and hooking up within 10 minutes of walking into the office. Had space 43 right on the river. Free WiFi...very fast and easy to access! In fact, I sent in this review using their WiFi! Level, gravel sites. Cable TV has every channel you would want with great reception! Cannot say enough about this park.

This is our second year in a row staying here. Still a great place to stay on the way to Lake Tahoe. Spent two nights here, and still highly recommend this RV Park. Great staff, clean restrooms, and level spots!

First time at this park. 10 full hook up sites. Located just north of Emerald Bay. We stayed in H10, with not much shade, but temps were in the low 70's, so who cares? H-1 through H-5 are in trees, but difficult to level. H-6 through H-10 for bigger rigs, and very level. Short walk to the lake. General Store on site, snack bark on beach. Clean beach, great views. Campground not very crowded for this time of year. Staff friendly and helpful. Was .8 miles from a bike path that can be ridden all the way to Tahoe City, 12 miles away. Will return again next year.

We stopped here for one night on our way home from a trip down Highway 1. Stayed here based on reviews from this website and was not disappointed! Owner personally guides you into your spot. Upon arrival we were advised we were being moved from our reserved site to another site, and they reduced our over night rate as a consideration to $30. Walking distance to several nice restaurants. Very clean and neat. Management very courteous and helpful. Would stay here again!

Stayed here one night on our way home from Northern California. Daily rates have increased to $40 per day for full hookups and $27 for dry camping sites. Great view of ocean, which is less than 50 feet away at high tide! First come, first serve, no reservations. Fire rings at each site, nice store/grill on site. Generators off from 10pm to 7am. Recommend very highly.

This little park is run by Ventura County. Of the 41 sites, 10 are full hookup. The rest are dry camping sites. There is a little grill on site where you can get breakfast, or lunch, plus wood ($6. 00 per bundle of oak wood), and a few other necessities. Great ocean views. Located on the north end of Rincon Parkway. The dry camp spots cost $27 per night and $40 for full hookups. This is a "first come, first serve" campground just like Rincon Parkway, and Faria Beach. Fire rings are included in each space. Quiet time is 10pm to 7am. Generators can be run from 7am to 10pm and you will hear them going during the day. Spaces are very close together, so if you don't like an intimate setting this park is not for you, but if you like great weather, and great ocean views this is the place!

Except for the restrooms, which needed a little TLC (we used our motorhome facilities), this is a great place to spend time during the winter: elevation is 2000'. They have a wonderful restaurant on site, plus rooms for rent, a small store for things you may have forgotten, and a Shell gas station. The views are great, and there are plenty of shade trees, which are not really found at the other Death Valley campgrounds. This is also the only place in Death Valley National Park where you can get some cell phone service. I have Verizon, and was able to make and receive calls. This is a good jumping off site for visiting the many attractions of Death Valley National Park. We did a day hike to Darwin Falls, the source of water for Panamint Springs Resort, visited the sand dunes at Stovepipe Wells, hiked up Mosaic Canyon (amazing!), and visited the charcoal kilns in Wildrose Canyon (http://www. nps. gov/deva/Charcoal. htm). At about 7,000 feet elevation, there was snow on the ground. Well worth the drive. Next visit we will see Scotty's Castle, Furnace Creek, Bad Water, and the many other sites.

The park was just as I had expected from the other reviews, and their website descriptions. The staff was friendly, informative. The site we had was quite level. Full hookups including Cable TV. The outdoor fireplace is an old washer drum. Since this is what we carry with us we liked it just fine. It distributes the heat from the fire evenly. Quiet, even though sites are close together. Wi-Fi is a little difficult to access, but worked often enough to allow us to do our computer work. Will return.

We took the advice of other reviewers and got a site in back with water/electricity only. The one thing to keep in mind is if you use satellite TV be sure to request a site with a good view of the southern sky. We were in GUM 34, which doesn't have a good view of the southern sky, but other sites within GUM do, so remember to ask if you have this need. Staff was friendly, helpful and quick to process us into our site. No cell phone reception here if you use Verizon. We rode our tandem bicycle from here to Point Reyes Lighthouse: 44 miles round trip. Had a blast, and great Thanksgiving dinner after our ride. The campground hosts a Thanksgiving potluck each Thanksgiving. We chose to do our own.

All spaces are paved asphalt, pretty level. Clean and not crowded. Next door to very nice restaurant, and marina. Walking distance to downtown area.

Camped here largely on the reviews from this website and was not disappointed. Very friendly staff, very level gravel spots with grass everywhere else! Beautiful restrooms. In walking distance to several nice restaurants, icecream parlor (yum), etc. Would stay there again.

While Chino Hills State Park has existed for a couple of decades, or more, the new small campground was just opened in May of 2005. Maximum length for RV's is 28 feet. All spots are back in. In a few years the trees they have planted will provide nice shade. The 24 spots are all paved and pretty level, and are terraced up the side of a hill, so everyone gets a view! The restrooms and showers are brand new and immaculate! Lot's of hiking, mountain biking trails. The park is about 12,000 acres with lots of Oak trees. When you enter the park you will drive about 3 miles on a narrow dirt road until you reach the center of the park where everything is paved. Very helpful Rangers on duty and easy to find. Very quiet. This little campground is one of the best kept secrets in the area. You will feel like you are 200 miles from anywhere, when in fact you are less than 4 miles from civilization! You can hear the coyotes at night. Get's the ocean breezes from Orange County.

If you want to park within 70 feet of the Pacific Ocean and watch the sun set each night with no obstruction to your view, this is the place. No hookups, but there are porta potties. NO showers. First come first serve. You will hear a couple of trains pass by each night, but its only 20-30 seconds at most. Enjoy the view, because that's why you're here. You can ride your bike into Ventura's Old Town in less than 30 minutes, or north to Carpenteria in about an hour. Best time is during the winter: not very crowded, and weather is moderate.

Spent one night here over Thanksgiving weekend, on way back from Bodega Bay. Very nice and friendly staff. Walking distance to the Big Sur River Inn Restaurant. Would stay here again. Right on the Big Sur River, and surrounded by forest: lots of shade.

Management was friendly, and helpful. Park is located in the middle of the park, so you will need transportation aside from your RV if you wish to visit other areas of the park. There is a small store with essentials. Recommend very highly!
