Easy on-off from I-74 but far enough away for quiet stay. Almost completely tree-shaded but trees do not affect rv movement/parking. Friendly hosts that also assist in moving to site. Good connections to Electric and Water. Roomy sites with gravel site and park roads. Not listed, but I picked up a very strong and fast unsecured wifi location.
Using gps guidance, finding entrance was a little confusing. Large grassy area with an outdoor music stage. Rather roomy grass sites with good crushed-rock roads. Moving stream runs in back, full length of campground. Half of sites on stream with additional cost. Good coverage with free wifi. Toilets/showers room was clean but a little out-dated. Very quiet, no traffic or train noise. Would stay here again, even without Passport card. Plenty of room to walk dogs. Very friendly staff.
Passport park and very reasonable for this area. Helpful host and site guidance. Dusty and closely-spaced sites. Dumpster overflowed and close to sites. Dumpster very smelly even when empty. Required long walk to restrooms to avoid walking through sites. The campground did refund 2 of the initially-paid 5 days.
5 Miles from US 129 entrance to campground. Mostly short, somewhat unlevel sites about right size for my 26' Class C. A few sites for Class A motorhomes. Many sites suitable for tents and popups. Many boating campers during weekend. No T-Mobile cell phone coverage. Pay phones available. Good asphalt roads and sites. Very well maintained park. No views of lake in campground except at Lodge. 12 miles to nearest shopping. 10% discount for over 62 years. ($18 is normal rate). I will definitely return from this my first 3-day visit. No advance reservations and 14 day maximum.
Clean dog-walk area night-lighted, Very friendly and accommodating staff. Well landscaped crush-gravel surfaces. Free Wi-Fi with strong signal. Very easy access to Interstate exit. They very willingly let us park our second, newly-purchased Class III free, overnight storage only. Nightly rate is Passport rate.
