What a wonderful campground after camping in RV parks where the sites were waaaaaaay too close together. This campground was the most quiet and peaceful campground we have ever camped in. I highly recommend it. We had partial hookups. We have an 8 and 9 year old and we took the short walk to the lake and they swam. They were the only people in the lake as far as the eye could see. We camped in the Blanco section. The campground is great if you don't need a lot of amenities (laundry, store, WiFi) but I would give those up for this gem!
Campground is so-so. The showers and baths were OK, not great, not awful. The first night we had a horrible site that was literally about 4 feet away from our neighbor's RV door with no bushes/trees, etc. We requested a different site for the next two nights and it was much better (site #27). The office staff were very helpful in changing us. They need more baths/showers for such a big campground. Go to the showers early if you don't want to wait. It is a bit of trek into town (15 minutes) but I guess that gives you a little bit more quiet and landscaping. GREAT Wi-Fi signal! I wish the road were paved. I do think for Santa Fe this is the best choice though.
Nice enough campground in an area with not many choices. The office people were really helpful and friendly. Restrooms were pretty clean. The sites need a bit more trees/bushes to give you some extra privacy from your neighbor. Very quiet. Nice mini golf course for the kiddos. Nice place for one night but not more.
This was a wonderful surprise as I had read no reviews and we just decided to chance it after reading a AAA listing. Beautiful park for dry camping. I think they have some hookups but the nicest sites that are further back with more privacy and greenery were dry. AWESOME running/bike/dog walking path that goes from the campground to downtown Flagstaff. Gorgeous path! We would definitely stay here again. It is very close to Flag, just a few minutes.
